본 연구는 국제규격인 KS A ISO 2859-1 수월한 검사 방법을 계육에 처음으로 적용하여, 현행 닭고기의 등급 기준샘플링 방법을 대처할 수 있는지의 가능성을 알아보고자 수행하였다. 불량품 선별 능력을 확인한 결과, 현 등급 기준은 0.61, KS A ISO 2859-1 보통 검사 방법은 0.70으로 후자의 방법이 보다 정확히 선별할 수 있었다. 샘플링 방법에 따른 비용을 비교한 결과, 하루 50로트를 검사하는데 40,530원이 절감되었다. 또한 현 등급 기준과 KS A ISO 2859-1 수월한 검사는 12호, 9호, 8호 닭도체에서 모두 $1^+$등급을 충족시키기 위한 불량품 수가 불합격 한계를 넘어서지 않았다. 샘플링 방법에 따른 신선도의 유의성 검증은 전수검사와 현 등급 기준, KS A ISO 2859-1 수월한 검사에서 12호, 9호, 8호 닭도체의 모두에서 유의적인 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이를 통해 샘플량이 적은 KS A ISO 2859-1 수월한 검사를 사용하는 것이 검사비용 절감의 효과를 가지면서 현재의 방법과 동일한 수준의 품질평가를 할 수 있는 것으로 판단되었다.

This paper is concerned with the International Standard ISO 2859-1 (1989), Sampling Plans Indexed by Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) for Lot-by-Lot Inspection, his standard is AQL type sampling scheme, and incorporates switching rules to move among normal, tightened, and reduced inspections. Sample size code letters and inspection levels of ISO 2859-1 are the same as those of other attributes standards MIL-STD-105D, ANSI Z1.4, and KS A 3109. But ISO 2859-1 has more simple switching rules than KS A 3109 has. The sampling procedures of the ISO 2859-1 are matched to the variables international standard ISO 3951 to enable us to move between them. Composite OC and ASN curves are given for AQL 2.5% and code letter F.

The second edition of the International Standard ISO/DIS 2859-1(1997) is the revised version of ISO 2859-1(1989). Significant changes in this edition include the following; ⅰ) a new procedure for switching from normal to reduced inspection is used, ⅱ) optional fractional acceptance number sampling plans are added, and ⅲ) reduced plans are changed to eliminate the gap between the acceptance and rejection numbers. In this paper, major changes and additions incorporated into the revised version are discussed.

Purpose : This research aims to develop a data-driven inspection policy for radio stations utilizing the KS Q ISO 2859-1 sampling method, addressing potential regulatory relaxations and impending management challenges. Methods : Using radio station inspection big data from the past six years, we established a simulation model to evaluate the current policy. A new inspection sampling policy framework was designed based on the KS Q ISO 2859-1 method. The study compares the performance of the current and proposed inspection systems, offering insights for an improved inspection strategy. Results : This study introduced a simulation model for inspection system based on the KS Q ISO 2859-1 sampling method. Through various experimental designs, key performance indicators such as non-detection rate and sample proportion were derived, providing foundational data for the new inspection policy. Conclusion : Using big data from radio station inspections, we evaluated current inspection systems and quantitatively compared a new system across diverse scenarios. Our simulation model effectively verified the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed framework. For practical implementation, essential factors such as lot size, inspection cycle, and AQL standards need precise definition and consideration. Enhancing radio station inspections requires a policy-driven approach that factors in socio-economic impacts and solicits feedback from industry participants. Future study should also explore various perspectives related to legislative, institutional, and operational aspects of inspection organizations.

The growing importance of product quality is becoming more and more daily apparent as we enter the age of globalization around the world. And the product safety is getting more focus as well as product quality. As a result, many domestic companies are putting a lot of emphasis on safety measures and management activities and these companies' products are mainly superior to other companies' product. When we separate the product quality procedure into 3 steps, i.e. quality secure-quality confirm-quality guarantee, of course the 1st step is the most important, but also End step of product quality confirm process is important. And in mass production environment, sampling inspection is more desirable than the 100 % inspection procedure. As a part of globalization trend, KS system is also being revised and reestablished based on ISO, IEC, etc. which are based on international standard. Conventional KS sampling inspection standards were in many areas quite different from ISO sampling standards, only KS A 3102, 3104, 3151 are left and the rest become obsolete, and even the ones that are still around are planned to the gone step by step. It has been already 3 years since the new KS A ISO 2859-0-3 sampling inspection process has been established which the abolition of the popular KS A 3101, KS A 3105, KS A 3109, yet the implementation rate is very slow. This study will attempt to analyze the new KS A ISO 2859-2 and KS A ISO 2859-3, and try to understand the difference as that the new standard can be easily understood and used widely among companies, by using examples. Our attempt is to help implement with the companies with active safety involvement but the final result can be spread among other companies as well in the near future.

Purpose: ISO (International Organization for Standardization) has published the third edition of ISO 3951-1:2022, Sampling Procedures for Inspection by Variables-Part 1. ISO 3951-1 is an AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) type sampling scheme, and incorporates switching rules to move among normal, tightened, and reduced inspections. This paper examines the contents of ISO 3951-1:2022 and analyzes its characteristics. Methods: The contents of ISO 3951-1:2022 and ISO 3951-1:2013 (the second edition of ISO 3951-1) are compared and analyzed in detail. The comparisons of ISO 3951-1:2022 and ISO 2859-1:2013 (the latest edition of Sampling Procedures for Inspection by Attributes-Part I) are also performed. Results: The main changes of ISO 3951-1:2022 are as follows: i) procedures have been introduced to accommodate measurement uncertainty, ii) many of sampling plans are adjusted to improve the match between their OC (operating characteristic) curves and the OC curves of the corresponding plans of ISO 2859-1, iii) the form p* for determining the acceptance of the lot is extended to all ranges of AQL and code letter values. Conclusion: ISO 3951-1:2022 cancels and replaces ISO 3951-1:2013, which has been technically revised. KS Q ISO 3951-1:2019 that is Korean version of ISO 3951-1 was established as a Korean standard by conforming to ISO 3951-1:2013. Therefore, we need to revise it to ISO 3951-1:2022, as soon as possible.

ISO 3951 (1989) Sampling Procedures and Charts for Inspection by Variables for Percent Nonconforming is an acceptable quality level (AQL) type sampling scheme. Sample size code letters and inspection levels in this International Standard correspond to those given in the ISO 2859 (1989), a standard for sampling plans by attributes. Two acceptance sampling procedures can be used ; tabular and graphical methods. The graphs could be used in less critical applications while the tabular method would be available for those familiar with MIL-STD-414 tables and to confirm the results of the graphs when needed. The sampling procedures of the ISO 3951 are matched to the ISO 2859 to enable us to move between them. Composite OC and ASN curves are given for AQL 2.5% and code letter F.

This paper introduces fourteen single, double, multiple and sequential acceptance sampling plans based on switching rule. Revised KS standards for acceptance sampling by attribute and by variable such as KSA ISO 2859-0, 1:2001 2859-2:2001, 8422:2001, 3951:2006, 8423:2001, MIL-STD-105E:1989, 414:1968 and ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, Z1.9:2003 are presented.

This paper introduces nine acceptance sampling plans by attribute based on screening (sorting, rectifying). Revised KS standards for single and double acceptance sampling by attribute such as Dodge - Romig : 1998, KSA ISO 2859 - 2 : 2001, 13448 - 1, 2, MIL - STD - 105E : 1989, KSA IEC 60410 and ANSI/ASQ Z1. 4 : 2003 are presented.
