SPEC CPU2000은 CPU의 성능 측정에 중점을 둔 벤치마크 프로그램으로서 표준화에 대한 노력을 바탕으로 산학계에 널리 사용되고 있으나, 하드웨어 측면에서의 특성 분석은 미비하였다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 시스템의 중요한 구성 요소 중 하나인 CPU 주파수 속도의 변화에 따른 SPEC CPU2000 벤치마크의 성능 변화를 고찰하였다. x86 구조 기반의 단일 프로세서 시스템에서 CPU 주파수 속도를 제외한 다른 구성요소를 일정하게 유지하면서 SPEC CPU2000 벤치마크 프로그램의 성능을 측정함으로써 SPEC CPU2000 벤치마크 프로그램의 특성을 시스템적 측면에서 해석하였다. 실험을 통하여 SPEC CPU2000은 CPU 주파수 속도의 변화에 대하여 유연한 성능분석이 가능하도록 개별 벤치마크 프로그램의 CPU 주파수 의존도가 고르게 분포되어 있음을 알 수 있었으며, SPEC CPU2000에 대한 시스템적 측면의 해석을 제공함으로써 SPEC CPU2000을 사용하는 연구, 개발에 있어서 기반 자료로 사용될 것으로 기대된다.

본 논문은 IMT-2000 기지국에 적용할 이중편파 다이버시티 능동형 배열 안테나의 새로운 형태를 제안하고, 설계 및 개발하였다. 먼저 배열 안테나를 구성하게 될 단일 안테나 소자는 마이크로 스트립 패치 안테나로서 $\pm$ 45$^{\circ}$의 편파를 갖는 패치를 설계하여 IMT-2000의 송신부와 수신부를 커버할 수 있는 대역폭 (1,885~2,200 MHz)을 갖추고, 이중편파간에 16 ㏈ 이하의 격리도를 확보하며 이득은 7 ㏈i 이상으로 확보를 하였다. 최종적으로 2$\times$8 이중편파 능동형 배열 안테나에서는 저 전력증폭기의 분산 장착 기술을 위해 균일한 특성을 갖는 전력증폭기를 각 패치의 후면에 분산하여 1,200 W 이상의 EIRP와 20 ㏈ 이상의 편파간 격리도를 확보할 수가 있었다.

The role of protective relay with correct setting value is very important for the reliable operation of power : system. The setting process of a protective relay is difficult and requires hard work of calculations. Therefore, KEPCO as been using PROSET2000, a computer program system, in order to automate the setting process of protective relays in power transmission network since 2000. This system has a database and relay setting modules for each type of realy with coresponding Human and Computer Interaction(HCI). For the setting of a new type of relay, it require a new module, a HCI and a database table corresponding to the new relay. But it's update is not easy in case of new type of relay. This paper discussed the update method introducing a concept of Open Interface. It addressd a method to make a new HCI for new relay in view of object-oriented method using UML(Unified Modeling Language). Using the UML, we updated the PROSET2000. HCI screens for a new relay is generated automatically using the information of the new relay stored in the database. And, the database management module is upgraded to solve problems in manage and maintain the database in view of Open Interface.

INCOTERMS 2000 was not changed in its basic system but much improved in many minor aspects, reflecting the expansion of customs free zone, the spread of electronic communications and the changes of transportation practices. Among many points, following revisions are to be considered important to examine : First, the term 'delivery' is clearly defined in the preamble of each term, which is very significant since the risk is connected with the delivery in international trade. Second, the obligation of carrying out export customs formalities in FAS and import customs formalities in DEQ are imposed to seller and buyer respectively according to current trade practices. Third, since the customs formalities are no more needed among the countries of customs free zone, the phrase 'where applicable' is inserted in A.2 and B.2 of each term. Fourth, the method of delivery(for example, loaded or unloaded) became very concrete and clear in each term. Fifth, in the obligation of buyer's contracting insurance, the 'no obligation' is added even though the buyer has no insurance obligation to the seller. Finally the I.C.C. tried to make unification of the special terminologies be in accordance with those of CISG to achieve international harmony between the uniform law and uniform usages.

The purpose of this study is to know recent studies about conservative treatment of osteoarthritis in knee joint. We reviewed and analyzed 71 theses published by korean research institution since 2000. These theses were classified by year, field of study and subject. The results of this study are as follows. 1. We found 24 oriental medical theses about osteoarthritis in knee joint since 2000. 2. Classified by the major field of study, the journal of korea acupuncture and moxibustion society accounted for 17 pieces in oriental medical journals. 3. In oriental medicine, the most subject is acupuncture(19 pieces). 13 pieces in it is about pharmacopuncture. 4. 47 theses are published in medical journals after 2000. 5. 35 associations dealt with this theme, the korean society of physical medicine is major. 6. Most subject is kinesitherapy, followed by pharmacotherapy, massotherapy, taping therapy, physiotherapy and insole. We found several therapies were effective through oriental and western medical theses. Combined oriental medicine and western conservative therapy like kinesitherapy make better effect on osteroarthritis of knee joint.

본 논문에서는 낮은 비트율에서 H.264 인트라 부호화와 JPEG2000 영상의 주관적, 객관적 화질 평가를 수행하였다. 그 결과 H.264 high 프로파일의 인트라 부호화 영상이 JPEG2000 영상보다 주관적, 객관적 화질이 우수하였다. 하지만, DCT와 웨이블릿 변환, 양자화의 큰 차이로 인해서 Blocking 현상이 보다 많았다. 따라서 최적 화질을 위한 새로운 변환 알고리즘의 필요성을 제시하고자 한다.

A new medium access control protocol is proposed to support stable wireless Internet services. Using the characteristics of the uplink Internet traffic and a Voice-Packet multi-session mode, the proposed protocol transmits the uplink Internet traffic via the voice traffic channel of silent duration in a multi-session mode. Out simulation results show that the proposed protocol guarantees stable wireless Internet services under heavy loads.

By adding user interface to the usual router, an improved functional router is implemented In this paper, we design the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) for JPEG2000 CODEC. The DWT is developed based on ARM-based Excalibur, and the system contains DMA processor, Slave interface, DWT filter, Controller. The architecture of the prposed DWT is verified using Altera QuartusII.

User Identity Module(UIM) is widely deployed in GSM(Global System for Mobile communications), Known as SIM(Subscriber Identity Module). We can expect that UIM will be also available for ANSI based third generation systems. Removable User Identity Module(R-UIM) is UIM for ANSI based third generation systems and Universal Subscriber Identity Module(USIM) is UIM for GSM based third generation systems. This paper identifies differences between R-UIM and USIM and studies global roaming in IMT-2000 systems.

There are many discrepancies between visually perceived color-difference and that which is quantified from an instrumental measurement when dark color samples are measured in the textile industry. The samples were prepared to represent these dark shades and the values of the instrumental results from conventional color-difference formulae(CIELAB, CMC, BFD II, CIE94, LCD99 and CIEDE2000). Those of visual assessment were compared. The experimental results show that the CIELAB formula gives the best performance over other formulae, and the CIEDE2000 formula for the color-difference according to chroma presents the worst performance. Therefore, we can say that the problems in color matching of dark shades are caused by imperfect formula, because the results obtained from a color-difference formulae are different and the CMC which is used as a standard color-difference formula in the textile industry is not correct. So, a revised color-difference formula is proposed in this study, to account for these problems.
