In island and backcountry areas, electrical power is usually supplied by diesel generators. It is difficult for small scale diesel generators to have an economy of scale owing to the usage of fossil fuels to produce electricity. Also, there is a problem of carbon dioxide emissions that brings some environmental pollution to the entire region of the area. For solving those, this paper proposes a design method of autonomous micro-grid to minimize the fossil fuels of diesel generator, which is composed of diesel generator, wind turbine, battery energy storage system and photovoltaic generation system. The proposed method was verified through computer simulation and micro-grid operation system.

A recursive family $\{F_n\}$ of holomorphic functions on the Riemann sphere is defined and some elementary properties of this family is described. Then the Julia set of $F_n$ is computed. Finally this family as a real recursive family is studied and it is shown that $F_n$ is chaotic on a specific subset of $\mathbb{R}$.

This paper presents a servo control scheme for the surface-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous motor(SPMSM) which essentially uses vector control algorithm. The control system is composed of the PI controller for speed control and the current controller using space voltage vector PWM technique. The high-speed calculation and processing for vector control is carried out by TMS320C31 digital signal processor and IGBT module. The proposed scheme is verified through digital simulations and experiments for 2.2kW SPMSM and shows good dynamic performance.

In the year 2002, 11,202 cases of electrical fires caused 462 casualties and about 58 billion won of physical damages. The electrical accidents alone caused victimized 854 people, including 87 deaths. at present, no detailed statistics about electrical fires is available. Also, there is no statistics about electric shocks and electrical equipment accidents. the electrical accidents are on the increase, proportional to the increase of electrical use. Therefore, a statistical analysis of electrical accidents is required to understand the situation and take measures to prevent similar accidents.

When top down method is used, it could be a construction method trouble in column joint, between the former concrete and the latter. It could bring a void and weak concrete in column. The purpose of this study is finding a way to prevent concrete void and concrete suitable for top down, through V-metering for top down column and concrete experiment.

본 논문에서는 지역적인 밝기 변화에 강인한 지역 서술자와 유사도 척도를 제안한다. 제안한 지역 서술자는 Haar 웨이블렛 필터를 이용하여 특징점과 주변의 주파수 특성을 포함한 지역 서술자를 정의하여 지역적으로 불균일한 조명의 영향에도 특징점을 명확히 서술할 수 있다. 제안한 유사도 척도는 기존의 엔트로피 기반의 유사도에 지역 서술자로 계산한 유사도를 결합한 형태이다. 이는 지역적인 조명의 변화가 발생한 영역의 유사도를 정확히 반영할 수 있다. 실험을 통해 제안한 방법의 성능을 검증하였다.

Objectives: FDY003 is a raw material for medicine consisting of a natural product that is expected to have the advantages of low side effects and high efficacy. In this study, we predict the efficacy and the standardization of the drug by method validation of anticipated index compounds and the measurement of antioxidant activity. Methods: FDY003 is prepared by extracting and purifying 70% of ethyl alcohol (EtOH). The method validation of cordycepin and chlorogenic acid was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography-photo diode array (HPLC-PDA) and the content of FDY003 was calculated. In order to monitor the biological activity of FDY003, antioxidant activity was measured by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), 2,2-azino bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS), and ferric-reducing antioxidant power (FRAP). The equivalent values of antioxidants such as trolox, ascorbic acid, gallic acid, and caffeic acid were measured by ABTS and FRAP. Results: Chlorogenic acid and cordycepin were both found suitable for method validation in HPLC and FDY003 containing 9.92±0.50 and 17.97±0.27 ㎍/g, respectively. In DPPH, the electron donating ability (EDA) value of FDY003 was increased in a concentration dependent manner. FDY003 confirmed antioxidant activity by ABTS and FRAP. Conclusions: FDY003 contains certain components including cordycepin and chlorogenic acid and has antioxidant ability by various mechanisms. Therefore, it is expected that FDY003 is capable of various physiological activities including anti-cancer activity.

LBS(Location Based Service)를 위한 대표적인 수단으로 GPS가 많이 사용된다. 그러나 GPS는 야외 및 개방된 공간에서만 이용이 가능하다. 또한, 저전력을 기반으로 한 무선 센서네트워크에서의 활용은 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 실내 환경에서 위치 측위를 위하여 기존 시스템들과는 다른 접근 방법을 이용하여 위치를 측위 한다. 무선 센서네트워크에서 대표적으로 사용하는 IEEE 802.15.4를 기반으로 K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbor) 알고리즘에 중간값(Intermediate Value)을 적용하여, 더 세밀하게 위치를 측위 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. K-NN의 경우 측정된 위치의 정교성은 셈플링의 개수에 비례한다. 그러나 센서네트워크에서 셈플링 개수를 무수히 늘리는 것은 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 셈플링값에 중간값을 적용하여 셈플링을 줄이는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 그리고 제안한 알고리즘을 구현하고 이를 실험하여 기존의 K-NN 기반의 위치 추정보다 약 두 배의 정밀도를 얻을 수 있음을 증명한다.

Lymphangioma, or cystic hygroma, a malformation resulting from the sequestration of lymph vessels, is owing to a failure of the primitive jugular lymphatic sacs to join with the venous system. They are rare benign lesions found more frequently in children than in adults. We experienced a case of huge mediastinal lymphangioma in 37-year-old female patient. It was associated with a cervical prolongation, and caused deviation and compression of the trachea and the heart. The cervicomediastinal lymphangioma was completely resected by means of median sternotomy, and the post-operative course was unevenful.
