A Study on the Career Development Path of Standard Expert for the 4th Industrial Revolution (제4차 산업혁명에 대응하는 표준전문가 경력경로 연구)

  • This study seeks the career development path for standard professional manpower training to respond to the $4^{th}$ industrial revolution based on the analysis of overseas professional manpower training from USA and EU. Based on the cases of USA & Europe and in-depth interview, this study suggested a professional manpower training system to cultivate both general expert and specialists at the same time. The study suggested that there is a need to train standard professional manpower with convergence professionalism that can combine the detailed fields in accordance with general and specific field. As for the program helping career development of professional manpower, job transfer/circulation system, career counseling, mentoring were suggested. Also, the study suggested that the training requires foundations such as various constructions of certification system of standard professional manpower, securing instructors with ability to conduct standard education wand professionalism, and empowerment through reeducation of current standard related manpower. This study is limited as it is a descriptive study based on domestic and overseas literature review and overseas case analysis in seeking career development path for professional manpower training. There is a need to diversify empirical research that could review the validity of the study result related to the $4^{th}$ industrial revolution and standard professional manpower.

A Study on the Career Management for Construction Engineers through the Professional FGI Results: Focused on the Index of Construction Engineer's Competency (전문가 FGI를 통한 건설기술자 경력관리 방안 연구: 건설기술자 역량지수를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to analyze the current career management system for construction engineers and propose the developed future plan for the career management system. Especially, this study explores the Index of Construction Engineer's Competency(ICEC) and issues for workplace competency development which is the foundation of the career management system for construction engineers and proposes the advanced strategies for operating the career management system. For the developing the future strategy of the current construction engineer's career management system, a focus group interview was conducted in this study. Total 12 experts participated in the FGI. The study results identify the six key issues for advanced construction engineers' career management system. Those six issues include 1)preparing in the inducement of new human resources, 2)institutional modification of the current job/expertise fields, 3)attaching importance of practical experience in the workplace, 4)consideration of various factors of individual career, and 5)developing the highest level's workplace competency. Based on these research findings, theoretical and practical implication and suggestion for future studies were provided.

  • This research studied the Perception on the Career Development of the National Technical Qualification(NTQ) Acquisitors. The qualification acquisitors are engaging to the occupation which related to their qualification and willing to even in future. Also, the higher the acquired qualification grade is, the more they prefer their occupation related with. The qualification acquisitiors feel it necessary to develop his career, but only part of them(45.5%) are being supported by the career development system in now; they have only job training as the career development service. The qualification acquisitors are sensitive to a technical changes. In order to compete against these changes, they want to connect with specialist group and to new techniques or knowledges, and to be trained to achieve higher grade qualification. The qualification acquisitors answered that it is responsible for HRDKorea to serve as developing and managing their career. Finally, the agency producing qualification acquisitors, HRDKorea should build the system that can manage a part of organizations support which general company's operating in CDP.

A Survey on the Job Stress of Dental Hygienist on Working Environment (광주지역 치과위생사의 직무 스트레스 조사)

  • Objectives: According to variety rapid change of working environment of dental clinics, dental hygienist faced of many job stress in their working place. The aim of this study was to analyze the stress factors. Methods: 206 participants of dental hygienist that working from each a section in Gwang-ju analysed the Job stress questionnaire as used self written. Results: The stress related of job factors was the highest score from 20-25 years old(p<0.05), score from dental clinic under ten persons, score from single women(p<0.05), score from 1 to 3 years old on job career, score from cases without home economic to support. The stress related of the patients was the highest score from 20-25 years old(p<0.05), score from dental clinic under ten persons, score from single women, score from 1 to 3 years old on job career(p<0.05), score from cases live with parents. Conclusions: These results suggest that, on dental hygienists working in the dental clinic and hospital, the stress of job activities have significant effects on dental hygienists. Therefore, it is recommended that the stress is being systematically reduced methods.

Effects of Private Certificate Holder's Motivation for Certificate Affects Career Development and Job Satisfaction (민간자격증 소지자의 자격증 취득동기가 경력개발 및 직무만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This research examines how influential the certificate is on career development and job satisfaction. The outcome of substantial analysis on hypothesis of the study is: First, three factors-proactiveness, value, competitiveness are the positive effect on motivation for certificate. However, it is shown that the correlation and regulation factors do not have a significant effect on career development. Second, career development has a positive relation with the job satisfaction. Third, value and association among motivation factors for certificate acquisition have a positive effect on job satisfaction. However, it is revealed that proactiveness, competitiveness, and bylaw factors do not have significant influences on job satisfaction. These outcomes prove that private certificates do not meet the need realistically in the business field. It is caused by the low level of difficulty of the certificate exam, which results in the standardization state where it becomes easier for anyone to obtain the certificate. In order to resolve the problem in relation to the private certificate acquisition, it is suggested that advices of field experts should be actively reflected on the exam and that the difficulty of the exam should be moderated to acquire comparability and to reflect reality.

  • The purpose of this study was to propose appropriate requirements to obtain a pilot's license in order to improve the safety of pilotage related to a survey of experts involved with pilotage. The survey has been conducted by experts from stakeholders in various fields. To suggest requirements for the license, a hypothesis test has been conducted. It turns out that onboard experience with higher gross tonnage is eligible for pilot. Secondly, it is required to have onboard experience of more than one year as a captain, within 5 years from the date that the individual takes the pilot's written test, with 5 years onboard experience as a captain. Lastly, if personality and aptitude tests are added to the requirements to obtain a pilot's license, the safety of pilotage will increase rapidly.

  • This study is designed to define the competencies of EA experts. We investigated domestic and oversea curriculums and finally suggested basic and common competencies of EA experts. Especially, various EA stakeholder can commonly refer and use our competencies. Therefore those can be the foundation of continuous EA competencies development model. We define 4 EA core competencies such as common, development, analysis, management and provide definition of competencies. And we also classify the competencies importance of 3 career paths (Architect, Enterprise Architect, Chief Architect). The results of this research can help EA experts and IT personnel to understand EA and to enhance their competencies by providing standard competencies of teaching course and curriculum.

  • Officers and NCOs are in charge of complaints Army. Most of the complainants are civilians, so if the active duty is treated as complaints, their expertise is limited and it is difficult to think in terms of civilians. In order to overcome this problem, it is suggested that private career experts should be dedicated to complaints.

  • We analyze the risk factors identified for ex-ante evaluation regarding government R&D programs. In particular, we empirically examined to what extent each risk factor is perceived to be important by the stage of R&D, technology field, researcher's career and experience. The empirical results show that technology risk is perceive to be less important for basic research, while market risk more perceived to be important in the IT field. Political risk is perceived to be less important for the university faculty, while researchers with government R&D project experience gave more value to legal risk factor.
