Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the descriptive correlation of the commission intended to provide effective working practices to enhance job satisfaction and organizational engagement by examining the work environment of the dental hygienist. Methods: After the IRB approval, the subjects were dental hygienists working for dental hospitals and clinics in Busan from May 1st to May 31th of 2017. And the final 153 questionnaires were analyzed to SPSS 23.0 for windows, SPSS Inc. Chicago, IL. USA. The data was analyzed using average standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Results: The average working environment of the subjects was found to be $3.37{\pm}0.53$ points with the average job satisfaction of the subjects of $3.29{\pm}0.50$ points and the average organizational commitment of the subjects of $3.25{\pm}0.59$ points. As the working conditions of the working environment are higher, it revealed that the higher the working environment, the better the job satisfaction. Conclusions: In conclusion, this study showed that the ability to support managers' abilities, leadership, and dental hygienists is the most influential factor in job satisfaction and organizational involvement. Also, hospital administrators are encouraged to provide excellent work and leadership skills to enhance both the quality of work and that of work ethic.
Purpose: This study was done to explore the essence and meaning of the experience of 'aging', as a process of 40's and 50's women in Korea by applying the Parse's Human Becoming theory (2002). Methods: Data was collected from February to April, 2013, using the phenomenological research method. Data was collected through in-depth informal interview and analyzed following Colaizzi method. After IRB permission and informed consent from the participants, all interviews were recorded with MP3 recorder and transcribed for analysis. Results: Data analysis revealed 112 of meanings, 33 key subject words, 8 subject phrases, and 4 categories. The main themes were elaborated as 'going down' ('Being changed of body and mind', 'Being considered on my identity'), 'going up' ('Being expanded of productive role', 'Being transcendent multi-dimensionally'), 'pausing' ('Becoming more thoughtful about family', 'Looking back'), 'going forward again' ('Age is just a number, 'Contemplating of life and death'). Experiences in aging among women in 40's and 50's enlightened with Parse's theory of Human Becoming in terms of 'going down', 'going up', 'pausing', 'going forward again' appeared simultaneously, rather than consecutively. Conclusion: Women in 40's and 50's require holistic nursing intervention with physical, psychological, socio-economical, and spiritual aspects, rather than focusing on problematic physical symptom relief and prevention of further conditions. It is recommended to develop various nursing intervention considering on different environment, type of experience, and level of human becoming, individually.
The main purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between the consumption of red ginseng-based 'SSR' for 30 days and the reduction in human fatigue, blood component changes, and immune cell activity in 35 human subjects. 'SSR' is composed of zinc oxide, folic acid, and D-α-tocopherol with red ginseng as the main component. According to the protocol criteria of the study, 35 subjects who understood the purpose of the study and signed an informed consent form were selected. The fatigue survey was conducted through a questionnaire, and after taking 'SSR', a decreased tendency of physical, mental, and neurosensory fatigue was observed. In hematological analysis, no significant changes were observed in the levels of WBC, RBC, and hemoglobin; however, AST (SGOT) and ALT (SGPT) levels were statistically significantly decreased. In immunological analysis, it was observed that the proliferative effect of T cells (CD3+CD4+) was greater than that of NK cells (CD16+CD56+). The collected data were subjected to t-test analysis using the SPSS 25.0 statistical program. The result from this study proposes that 'SSR' can be used as a functional food material as it reduces human fatigue and enhances immune function.

Objectives: In this study, the extent of environmental exposure reduction behavior among the elderly living in Gongju City was identified according to demographic and sociological characteristics of individual health behavior and environmental factors. In addition, the relationship between subjective health knowledge and environmental exposure reduction behavior among the elderly was investigated. Methods: Demographic and sociological factors, subjective health status, environmental factors, and environmental exposure reduction behavior were investigated among 120 elderly people in Gongju City. Through multiple regression analysis, variables with significant relationships with environmental exposure reduction behavior were identified (SPSS ver. 22, IBM, Armonk, NY, USA). The survey (IRB-2018-0096) was conducted over about two weeks (from Dec. 3 to 14, 2018). Results: The extent of practicing environmental exposure reduction behavior by the elderly in Gongju City was high in terms of cleaning, ventilation when cooking food, periodic outdoor activities, and ventilation when smoking. Significant variables were gender, past smoking and current non-smoking, subjective health knowledge, and subjective health status. The most influential variable was subjective health knowledge (β= .411). Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between the level of subjective health knowledge and the level of objective education for health behavior related to the reduction of environmental exposure among the elderly.
Objectives: S-HTP is a projective test of cognitive activity. The purpose of this study was to examine the response characteristics in the S-HTP test as they related to seven emotions and cognitive processes. Methods: 153 students underwent S-HTP testing. 10 students were excluded and a total of 143 students' data was used for the study. 143 students were classified into four groups by SCAT. A survey was conducted on seven emotions and cognitive processes painting the Whole picture, house, tree, and person, and after receiving IRB review exemption, the chi-square test was conducted to check homogeneity of the groups by gender and age. Finally, frequency analysis by constitution for each item was conducted. Results: The reaction characteristics of S-HTP, focusing on the seven emotions and cognitive processes detailed by Korean Medicine, are as follows: 1. The primary sentiment while drawing during S-HTP was 'Joy (hui)' followed by 'Thought (sah)'. 2. The sentiments while painting during the S-HTP test, and the emotions of looking at the picture after the S-HTP test, increased in 'Joy (hui)' and decreased in 'Thought (sah)'. 3. 'Thought (Sah)' was the highest scored process while drawing S-HTP, followed by 'jee (智)'. However, 'ryeo (慮)' was similar to 'jee (智)' in an unclassifiable constitution. Conclusions: The primary characteristics of the S-HTP test response are 'Joy (hui)' and 'Thought (sah)' in emotion, and 'sah (思)' and 'jee (智)' in cognitive processes. Therefore, it is necessary to verify this during the S-HTP test.
This study investigates and analyzes user preferences for golf wear with a sense of wear and smart function for the development of smart golf wear based on user convenience. A survey was conducted on 124 males in the age range of 40-60s that consisted of professional golfers, amateur golfers and the public with golf experience (such as major golf consumers) from August 1 to August 30, 2019 (IRB NO. 1040198-190617-HR-057-03); consequently, a 117 copies were accepted for analysis. The findings are as follows. The elbow (4.3%) of golf wear is unsatisfactory. The important part of the golf swing motion is the shoulder (39.3)>, elbow (30.8%)>, and wrist (6.8%). In addition, the unsatisfactory wearing of golf wear due to golf swing movements indicated that the shoulder or elbow area was pulled or the bottom of the top was raised during the back swing movements. The survey results on the expected discomfort when wearing smart wear are 'discomfort of obstruction when wearing' (53.8%), 'discomfort of washing' (17.1%), and 'weight of attached machine' (13.7%). Opinions such as 'Will not feel good when the sensor is attached' were investigated. The examination of the preference for golf wear equipped with smart functions indicated that a posture correction function to correct the golf swing posture is the most desired quality that is also considered important when correcting posture.
