  • In this papcr, we address the 3D reconstruction of the indoor circumstance using what the data is extracted by a pall of image from Stereo Camera. Generally sucaking, there arc three methods to extract 3-Dimensional data using IR sensor, Laser sensor and Stereo camera sensor. The best is stereo camera sensor which can show a high performance at a reasonable price. We used 'Window Correlation Matching Method' to extract 3-Dimensional data in stereo image. We proposed new Method to reduce error data, said 'Histogram Weighted Hough Transform'. Owing to this mettled, we reduced error data in each stereo image. So reconstruction is well done. 3-Dimensional Reconstruction is accomplished by using the DirectX that is well known as 3D-Game development tool. We show that the stereo camera can be not only used to extract 3-dimensional data but also applied to reconstruct the 3-Dimensional circumstance. And we try to reduce the error data using various method.

  • The detector of a focal-plane-array mid-wave infrared (MWIR) camera has different response characteristics for each detector pixel, resulting in nonuniformity between detector pixels. In addition, image nonuniformity occurs due to heat generation inside the camera during operation. To solve this problem, in the process of camera manufacturing it is common to use a gain-and-offset table generated from a blackbody to correct the difference between detector pixels. One method of correcting nonuniformity due to internal heat generation during the operation of the camera generates a new offset value based on input frame images. This paper proposes a technique for dividing an input image into block image patches and generating offset values using only homogeneous patches, to correct the nonuniformity that occurs during camera operation. The proposed technique may not only generate a nonuniformity-correction offset that can prevent motion marks due to camera-gaze movement of the acquired image, but may also improve nonuniformity-correction performance with a small number of input images. Experimental results show that distortion such as flow marks does not occur, and good correction performance can be confirmed even with half the number of input images or fewer, compared to the traditional method.

  • Ultrasonic, infrared, and CCD cameras are typically used to obtain location information, but the error range is large depending on the surrounding environment. However, IR-UWB can be used for distance and location measurement both indoors and outdoors, Technology. It is possible to determine the existence and distance of an object by emitting a short signal width in units of 1 ns and using a reflected signal and a time delay. It is also possible to measure the exact position within the cm error irrespective of the environmental conditions. Since it processes a large number of reflection signals, we try to measure three-dimensional spatial coordinates by improving the noise by using the mean value of the signal, the band pass filter and the FFT.

  • In this paper, we propose HMM-based upper-body gesture. First, to recognize gesture of space, division about pose that is composing gesture once should be put priority. In order to divide poses which using interface, we used two IR cameras established on front side and side. So we can divide and acquire in front side pose and side pose about one pose in each IR camera. We divided the acquired IR pose image using SVM's non-linear RBF kernel function. If we use RBF kernel, we can divide misclassification between non-linear classification poses. Like this, sequences of divided poses is recognized by gesture using HMM's state transition matrix. The recognized gesture can apply to existent application to do mapping to OS Value.

  • In this thesis, it suggests large scale interactive display system which is able to various touch interaction and bases on infrared LED BAR and using 3D. Interaction layer formed on space from screen which is able to feel 3D using suggested IR LED BAR. It gets the image in real time what is composed in interaction section using infrared camera with band pass filter. The image finds touch interaction coordinate through image processing module and saves as packet. It send packet to server through network data communication. It analyze packet by metaphor analysis module and save as metaphor event and send it to contents. On contents, it practices to metaphor event result in real time so it makes use touch interaction in stereopsis. According to this process, it does not need touch the screen at firsthand but it is possible system and touch interaction so touch interaction is possible while use 3D.

  • Infrared (IR) wavelength is out of visible range and thus usually cut by hot filters in general commercial cameras. However, some information from the near-IR (NIR) range is known to improve the overall visibility of scene in many cases. For example when there is fog or haze in the scene, NIR image has clearer visibility than visible image because of its stronger penetration property. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for fusing the RGB and NIR images to obtain the enhanced images of the outdoor scenes. First, we construct a weight map by comparing the contrast of the RGB and NIR images, and then fuse the two images based on the weight map. Experimental results show that the proposed method is effective in enhancing visible image and removing the haze.

  • An experimental study was performed for the behavior of the burner flame which results from burning of the liquid hydrocarbon fuel atomized by an ultrasonic transducer. Configurations of the flame and combustion-field were caught by both high-speed camera and thermo-graphic camera, and those images were analyzed in detail through a image post-processing. As a result, the combustion-field grew and reaction-temperature rose due to the strengthening of combustion reaction with the increasing flow-rate of carrier-gas. In addition, a phenomenon of flame flickering was discussed through the comparative analysis of the variational behavior between the visible flame and IR (Infrared) flame-field. Also, the flickering frequency of the flame was confirmed through FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analysis employing the flame area.

  • A measurement technique of interfacial velocity in air-water separated flow by particle tracking velocimetry using an infrared camera (IR-PTV) was developed. As infrared light with wavelength in the range of 3-5 um could hardly penetrate water, IR-PTV can selectively visualize only the tracer particles existing in depths less than 20 um underneath the air-water interface. To validate the measurement accuracy of the IR-PTV technique, a measurement of the interfacial velocity of the air-water separated flow using Styrofoam particles floating in water was conducted. The interfacial velocity values obtained with the two different measurement techniques showed good agreement with errors less than 5%. It was found from the experimental results obtained using the developed technique that with increasing air velocity, the interfacial velocity proportionally increases, likely because of the increased interfacial stress.

  • A gimbal system in observation reconnaissance aircraft was fabricated by assembling many parts and bearings. This system consists of a camera module and a stabilization gimbal that supports the camera module. During the flight for recording images, the gimbal system experiences various accelerations with wide frequencies. Although base excitation of stabilization gimbal results in vibration of the camera module, the camera module must be able to capture the correct and clear image even while vibrating. Hence, it is important to know the natural frequencies and vibration modes of the gimbal system with the camera module. Considering bearings as spring elements, the vibration characteristic of the gimbal system was analyzed by finite element method. In addition, harmonic response analysis was performed to determine the correct transmissibility of acceleration for the camera module in the frequency range of 0-500 Hz.

  • This study aims to determine how agricultural drones are operated for flight tests using a 5G communication in order to carry out a mission such as sensing agricultural crop healthy status with special cameras. Drones were installed with a multi-spectral and IR camera to capture images of crop status in separate altitudes with different speeds. A multi-spectral camera can capture crop image data using five different particular wavelengths with a built-in GPS so that captured images with synchronized time could provide better accuracy of position and altitude during the flight time. Captured thermal videos are then sent to a ground server to be analyzed via 5G communication. Thus, combining two cameras can result in better visualization of vegetation areas. The flight test verified how agricultural drones equipped with special cameras could collect image data in vegetation areas.
