  • With the development of water internet technology, data communication between objects is expanding. Research related to data communication technology between vehicles that incorporates related technologies into vehicles has been actively conducted. For data communication between mobile terminals, data stability, reliability, and real-time performance must be guaranteed. The 5 GHz Wi-Fi band, which is advantageous in bandwidth, communications speed, and wireless saturation of the wireless network, was selected as the data communications network between vehicles. This study analyzes how to design and implement a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network in a vehicle network. Considering the characteristics of the mobile communication terminal device, a continuous variable communications structure is proposed to enable high-speed data switching. We simplify the access point access procedure to reduce the latency between wireless terminals. By limiting the Transmission Control Protocol Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)-based Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server function and implementing it in a broadcast transmission protocol method, communication delay between terminal devices is improved. Compared to the general commercial Wi-Fi communication method, the connection operation and response speed have been improved by five seconds or more. Utilizing this method can be applied to various types of event data communication between vehicles. It can also be extended to wireless data-based intelligent road networks and systems for autonomous driving.

  • In this paper, we examine what changes the next-generation wireless communication systems will experience in terms of the technologies, services, and networks and, based on that, we investigate how the inter-cell interference management should evolve in various aspects. We identify that the main driving forces of the future changes involve the data-centric services, new dynamic service scenarios, all-IP core access networks, new physical-layer technologies, and heavy upload traffic. We establish that in order to cope with the changes, the next-generation inter-cell interference management should evolve to 1) set the objective of providing a maximal data rate, 2) take the form of joint management of power allocation and user scheduling, 3) operate in a fully distributed manner, 4) handle the time-varying channel conditions in mobile environment, 5) deal with the changes in interference mechanism triggered by the new physical-layer technologies, and 6) increase the spectral efficiency while avoiding centralized coordination of resource allocation of the users in the uplink channel.

  • This paper introduces an approach for providing Location Based Services (LBS) using Spatial Location (SLO) information within the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The aim of the paper is to set up the framework for providing LBS services in devices connected to wire and wireless IP networks. This method uses SIP as transport and the SLO as data formal inserted in the SIP pay-load. It analyses the relationship among the network elements involved in the architecture, and its functionality fur providing access to network services regardless of the user location. In conclusion, this proposal enables SIP to support location-related services such as messaging, location-based commerce, and any location-based computing. Furthermore, it describes the advantage of adding the user location information network resources optimization in mobile environments and future networks.

  • In Next Generation Wireless Networks (NGWN), lots of information, such as voice and video data, will be used in All-IP networks. It is important note that seamless service for users and handoff between heterogeneous networks must be taken into account in such environments. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a SePH(Seamless Proxy based Handoff) using PMIPv6-based proxy model which is enable to improve the performance of handoff in NGWN. The SePH can efficiently support seamless and IP-based mobility by reducing the search process. The performance results show that our proposed scheme outperforms in terms of QoS (Quality of Service) such as throughput, handoff latency, packet loss, and signaling overhead comparing to the existing schemes.

  • An inevitable trend in the next generation wireless network environments is coexistence of different wireless access networks in a complementary, manner. In addition, mobile devices equipped with multiple air interfaces simultaneously executing diverse applications have been emerging, In such network environment, It is required that a solution for mobile users to seamlessly roam between different access networks as well as to satisfy QoS requirements of each application by efficiently utilizing coexisting various wireless access networks. In this paper, therefore, we propose a mobility management platform based on per-application end-to-end mobility management and cross-layer handover controls. Four core functional modules composing the proposed platform for end user devices are defined: Monitoring Agents, Profile Database, Decision Engine, and IP Agent. We show through simulations that the presented platform provides an improved QoS as it selectively utilizes the best available networks.

  • Recently there are increasing needs for Internet and various kinds of contents. These traffics for various contents need more amount of data to provide high-quality information and require various QoS depending on the characteristics of contents. However, current Internet service supports BE (Best Effort) service only, therefore IntServ (Integrated Service) scheme and DiffServ (Differentiated Service) scheme are represented to support QoS in IP layer. Moreover, while wireless Internet is getting popular, MAC(Medium Access Control) is also becoming important. This is due to the fact that wireless access, resource allocation and packet scheduling, which are done in another layers before, are performed in MAC layer in many new wireless systems. This paper describes new scheme that provides QoS taking into account the traffic characteristics over Mobile IPv6 network based on IEEE 802.11e EDCF and evaluates the performance through computer simulation.

  • iSCSI(Internet Small Computer System Interface) is a block-oriented storage access protocol that enables a user to recognize a remote storage as their own local block device through general TCP/IP networks. Since iSCSI uses a standard ethernet switch and router for this kind of access, it can not only be applied to ethernet technologies, but can also be used to create a storage networking system without any distance restrictions that can equally be applied to a wireless network environment. Accordingly, focusing on this applicability, this paper presents an alternative approach to overcome the limited storage space of mobile devices based on the iSCSI initiator driver, which was originally designed for wired networks. Additionally, its potential with a wireless network is also evaluated.

  • In this paper, implementation of a wireless video security system relates to a situation outside of using infrared sensors to detect changes when using Zigbee network security in the area of the sensor sends information to the server. The server can judge the situation if an emergency situation through the IP network security camera shot of the area to be transferred command to pantilte. The camera images and information in the security area, sent to administrator's smartphone users to control the camera can see the situation and More than a small video security system was designed so that user can monitor the security zone. Finally, for real-time to identify and respond to emergency situations based on the available wireless networks for video surveillance systems were verified through research and implementation.
