  • Currently, the regulation system on controlling EMI has been strengthened throughout the world and this system has emerged as another invisible barrier from the advanced countries. Such a regulation is likely to expand in many various ways depending on the objective and type, and there has to be a fundamental EMI measure to respond this movement. This study is aimed at learning the EMI technology of communication system through the shielding material. It introduces the selection of appropriate shielding material and method of use, and it introduces the cases that resolved the actual EMI problem of the system that is manufactured by the company.

  • In these days, as it frequently happens that water level in the river exceeds the design floods due to irregular heavy rainfall, so it is required, first of an, to manage with railroad bridge safely. Because train control criterion under heavy rainfall is still not prepared and automatic flood monitoring system for railroad bridges is not used, worry over invisible economic loss due to train passage delay is in existence. Therefore, it is important to secure the safety and detect the risk like turnover or failure of railroad bridges through systematic disaster prevention system. And the transition from conventional monitoring method to real time monitoring method supported by sensors and communication system with high technology is rapidly needed. This research is on developing the real time flood monitoring system which prevents railroad disasters in advance by detecting continuously the water level of railroad bridge through CCD camera and water level gauge.

Development of Digital Watermark Inserting and Detecting System for MPEG-2 Codec (MPEG-2 Codec에 대한 디지털 워터마크 삽입 및 검출 시스템 개발)

  • This paper describes a study on developing an insert and detect system of digital watermark to the MPEG-2 coder and decoder. Digital watermark inserting system substitutes a coefficient among the DCT coefficients for new one. This replacement performs in MPEG-2 PS format. Watermark detecting system analyzes the input data stream of MPEG-2 and detect the probability of occurrence of a specific code or watermarking code. Our inserting system had very high invisibility and the PSNR of the results was 130 dB around. And our detection rate of watermark was over 99% in digital format and over 85% in analog captured format according to the quality of contents.

  • Recently, aegis of authentication and creator's copyright has become a matter of great concern by the diffusion of multimedia technique and the growth of the internet and the easily duplicated property of digital data. Consequently, many active researches have been made to protect copyright and to assure integrity by inserting watermark into the digital data. In this paper, watermark is repeated through the entire image and adapted to the content of the image. It is achieved by an underlying process of transforming the digital image to the frequency domain by wavelet transform, which has three (vertical, horizontal, diagonal) directions and Multi-resolution features, and then choosing frequency area inferior to the human perceptibility, and significant for invisible and robust watermark. Watermark is inserted by utilizing Human Visual System (HVS) feature in the wavelet transformed frequency domain. Especially, watermark inserted into the high frequency concentrated textual area makes itself invisible.

  • Currently, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands are used as frequencies for drone operation. In December 2019, the Ministry of Science and ICT newly allocated the 433 MHz band for the invisible long-distance operation of drones. However, since the 433 MHz band is the same as the previously allocated frequency band for amateur radio communication, interference cannot be avoided. Therefore, as a prerequisite for the development of a drone operation system based on the 433 MHz band, interference avoidance technology for this frequency band must be developed and applied. In this paper, we report the results of measurement and analysis of 433 MHz band signals necessary for the development of interference avoidance and reduction technologies for 433 MHz signals. The measurement and analysis of the 433 MHz band signal are performed through the spectrum measured at 5-minute intervals at three locations. Since the measurements and analyzes performed in this study considered spatial characteristics, temporal characteristics, and traffic characteristics, it is considered to be the basic data necessary for the development of interference avoidance technology in the 433 MHz band.

  • In ubiquitous computing, invisible devices and software are connected to one another to provide convenient services to users [1][2]. Users hope to obtain a personalized service which is composed of customized devices among sharable devices in a ubiquitous smart space (which is called USS in this paper). However, the situations of each user are different and user preferences also are various. Although users request the same service in the same USS, the most suitable devices for composing the service are different for each user. For these user requirements, this paper proposes a device recommender system which infers and recommends customized devices for composing a user required service. The objective of this paper is the development of the systems for recommending devices through context-aware inference in peer-to-peer environments. For this goal, this paper considers the context and user preference. Also I implement a prototype system and test performance on the real ubiquitous mobile object (UMO).

  • Our research is for development of smart object in WBAN environment. Too many smart object in various computing device were developed, but users always attention to their lot of smart objects and any personal things now. So we need smart object that classification and management all of user's personal devices and any effects in invisible and seamless system. We discussed how develop do that object in WBAN(Wireless Body Area Network) system and how make components in this system to wireless network in this paper.

  • The purpose of this study is to contribute to the theoretical understanding of the nature of domestic labor in relation to the capitalist economic system. In this study I adopted the reproduction of labor for the analytical term. Also I owed theoretical basis to the political economy to analyze the relation between domestic labor and capitalist economy. The family is a very important place which functions to maintain and change both the present and future labor what is called the reproduction of labor power. It also has a close relationship with the total society. The reproduction of labor power is divided by 'gender division of labor' which allocates the responsibility to one gender(women) and exempts it to another gender(men). In conclusion the domestic labor is the very basis of capitalist economy and it is also the preliminary condition to its system. SO we can fully understand the capitalist economy with the 'visible' labor part and the 'invisible' domestic labor part inc usively. And we can also understand the interrelationship between family and labor market which constitutes one economic system and fuctions in it.

  • We carry out a demonstration project to verify performance of a Home- Smart Cabinet Panel(H-SCP) at the child care facility. It is difficult to prevent an electrical disaster using a existing cabinet panel because electrical events are invisible and unforeseeable. So we construct a integrated information system with a Home-Smart Cabinet Panel(H-SCP) for management of low-voltage customers. The integrated information system with the H-SCP maintain the transmitted data from H-SCP, alert a electrical event to a administrator and show a state of customer health in real time respectively. A manager of electrical safety can prevent electrical disaster to maintain electrical facilities after analysis on the integrated information system.

  • To develop reliable 3D face recognition system, many researchers also have focused on 3D face data acquisition system. Previous many 3D face acquisition systems use visible patterns to solve corresponding problem, and this pattern made anyone who wants to be verified uncomfortable. In this paper, we propose a new invisible infrared line-laser pattern for 3D face data acquisition.
