We introduction some properties for fuzzy power function of performance of a test. First we define fuzzy type I error and type II error for the probability of the two types of error. And we show that an fuzzy error probability of one kind can only be reduced at cost of increasing the other fuzzy error probability.

At the conclusion from the hypothesis testing, there is a possibility of making Type I error and Type II error. The purpose of this article is to use this program in statistics teaching through developing the program for studying on the concept about these two errors, two kinds of the probability of errors by the variation of rejection region, two kinds of the probability of errors by the variation of sample size, the relations of the probability $\alpha$ and $\beta$ by these two errors, and power function, power curve.

This paper deals with the finite wordlength effect on the performance of digital PID controllers. The finite wordlength, one of the major limitation factors in digital controllers, results on two kinds of quantization error : the signal quantization error and the coefficient quantization error. This paper derives the variance of the plant output due to the signal quantization error. Using stability margins as performance criterion, the statistical wordlength concept is adopted for coefficient wordlength selection. Finally, the experimental results exhibit satisfactory performance of the digital PID controller with statistical coefficient wordlength.

本論文에서는 帶域幅效率을 높이기 위해서 Partial Response Signaling(PRS)을 利用한 PR shaped된 SQAM(staggered quadrature amplitude modulation)에 대하여 硏究하였다. 硏究過程에 있어서 誤率의 上限値를 구하여 서로 比較하였으며 그 結果 誤差가 3$^{\circ}$보다 작으면(Class I, II, IV)PR 시스템을 使用目的에 따라 別差異없이 使用할 수 있지만 3以上이 되면 Class I을 使用해야 한다는 結論을 얻었다.

본 논문에서는 CCITT에서 ATM 망의 사용 감시 알고리즘에 대한 정확도의 평가 기준으로 고려하고 있는 type-I/II 에러의 평가방법을 제안하였다. 그리고, ON/OFF 트래픽 모델에 대한 LB(leaky bucket)방식의 type-I/II 에러 분석을 통하여 평균 셀률과 최대 셀률을 감시 제어하기 위한 LB파라 미터의 결정방법을 고찰하였다. LB파라미터인 계수기의 감소율 a와 한계치 M은 type-I 에러를 만족하는 a-M 특성곡선을 구한후, 이 중에서 type-II 에러를 만족하면서 반응시간이 최소가 되는 (a, M)의 쌍으로 결정할 수 있음을 제시하였다. 이때, ON/OFF 트래픽에 대한 LB방식의 a-M 특성곡선은 트래픽의 버스트성에 의해 결정되어 짐을 알 수 있었다. 그리고, 성능분석 결과로부터 LB 방식은 최대 셀률에는 비교적 좋은 제어 성능을 가지지만, 평균 셀률 제어에 있어서는 정확도와 반응시간과의 상반관계로 인해 문제가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

We derive some approximate maximum likelihood estimators(AMLEs) and maximum likelihood estimator(MLE) of the scale parameter in the half-triangle distribution based on progressively Type-II censored samples. We compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error for various censored samples. We also obtain the approximate maximum likelihood estimators of the reliability function using the proposed estimators. We compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error.

In this work, it was investigated the usability of artificial bee colony (ABC) and genetic algorithm (GA) in modeling adsorption of Co(II) onto drinking water treatment sludge (DWTS). DWTS, obtained as inevitable byproduct at the end of drinking water treatment stages, was used as an adsorbent without any physical or chemical pre-treatment in the adsorption experiments. Firstly, DWTS was characterized employing various analytical procedures such as elemental, FT-IR, SEM-EDS, XRD, XRF and TGA/DTA analysis. Then, adsorption experiments were carried out in a batch system and DWTS's Co(II) removal potential was modelled via ABC and GA methods considering the effects of certain experimental parameters (initial pH, contact time, initial Co(II) concentration, DWTS dosage) called as the input parameters. The accuracy of ABC and GA method was determined and these methods were applied to four different functions: quadratic, exponential, linear and power. Some statistical indices (sum square error, root mean square error, mean absolute error, average relative error, and determination coefficient) were used to evaluate the performance of these models. The ABC and GA method with quadratic forms obtained better prediction. As a result, it was shown ABC and GA can be used optimization of the regression function coefficients in modeling adsorption experiments.

The suitability of high-order accurate, centered and upwind-biased compact difference schemes for large eddy simulation is evaluated by a spectral, static error analysis. To investigate the effect of numerical dissipation on LES solutions, power spectra of discretization errors are evaluated for isotropic turbulence models in both continuous and discrete wavevector spaces. Contrary to the common belief, the aliasing errors from upwind-biased schemes are larger than those from comparable non-dissipative schemes. However, this result is the direct consequence of the definition of the power spectral density of the aliasing error, which poses the limitation of the static error analysis for upwind schemes.

본 논문은 변형된 디지탈 Costas loop에 관한 논문으로서 제1부의 계속이다. 본 제2부 논문에서는 시스템에 잡음이 있을 경우 그의 성능을 해석하였다. 입력신호가 white Gaussian 잡음이 첨가되면 고려되는 DPLL의 noise process는 phase error detertor의 tan-1(·)함수에 의해서 Rician이 됨을 보였다. 이 경우 Chapman-Kolmogorov 방정식을 수치적으로 풀므로써 1차와 2차 loop phase error의 steady state probability density함수, mean 및 variance를 얻었으며 이 결과를 컴퓨터 시뮬레이tus에 의해서 입중하였다.
