Currently, each farm bears both the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease and the damage caused by AI. In addition, complaints about odors in the livestock industry are constantly being recovered and are expected to occur in the future. The purpose of this study is to improve the indoor air quality of enclosed facilities such as barns, houses, pigsty, and etc. This paper develops low-temperature plasma waste heat ventilation system to be installed in ventilation unit location and standardizes heat exchange element, low-temperature plasma lamp, and ballast for enhanced air cleaning function. In addition, this study intends to develop a new control system so that the farmers can connect with existing weather systems, flow fans, and other facility equipment by incorporating ICT.

This study aims to examine economic effects and success factors of ICT based growth engine industry for forth generation industrial revolution. KTRS(kibo Technology Rating System) provided by KIBO is used for an analysis of this study. Specifically, the economic effects of growth engine industy are classified with financial(productivity, growth rate, etc) and non-financial(R&D investment and employment) effects. Moreover, the impacts of KTRS factors including CEO capability, technology ability, commercialization and marketability on the economic effects are investigated. The result of this study would raise management issues on technology innovation and provide implications on industrial policies for ICT based growth engine industry.

The current electricity networks will undergo profound changes in the years to come to be able to meet the growing demand for electricity, while minimizing the costs of consumers and producers, etc. The electricity network of tomorrow or even the intelligent « Smart Grids » network will be the convergence of two networks: the electricity network and the telecommunications network. In this context falls our work which aims to study the impact of the integration of energy decentralization into the electricity network. In this sense, we have implemented a new smart grid model where several coexisting suppliers can exchange information with consumers in real time. In addition, a new approach to energy distribution optimization has been developed. The simulation results prove the effectiveness of this approach in improving energy exchange and minimizing consumer purchase costs and line losses.

Recently, the value of ICT-based medical devices, equipments, software and service development are is increased according to strengthening the convergence among ICT, medical technologies and services. This paper presents the new convergence business models by applying cloud service to medical industry. In order to develop the new convergence business models, we checked the validity and feasibility through analyzing the medical market environments such as medical data backup, medical regulation etc. and present the new convergence business models and the direction of commercial business models for customer acquisition, market expansion and competitiveness improvement. This study is to provide the guidelines for establishing the core capacity strengthening strategy and partnership cooperation strategy when we design a new convergence business models in various industrial fields.

New companies expecting market penetration by adopting technology commercialization process could face high uncertainty and constraints. In particular, ICT-based firms that enter competitive markets must deal with more complex situations. Although in-depth research has been done to solve the problem, there is still a lack of understanding of how startups' technology commercialization process is successful. To discuss the issue, this paper presents the technology commercialization model and determinants.(policy, finance, work team, organizational culture, overcoming the difficulties etc.) the suitability of the framework. From this analysis it emerged that the sustainability of organizational capabilities is as important as the adherence to the technology commercialization process for companies. As the organizational capacity has decreased, the driving force for technology commercialization has weakened. Therefore, the technology commercialization process does not guarantee the success of the market entry but is understood as a means of market access. If the organizational capacity is not strengthened, there is no successful technology commercialization process.

Mountain meteorology in South Korea that is covered mountains with complex terrain is important for understanding and managing the forest disaster and forest ecosystems. In particular, recent changes in dryness and/or rainfall intensity due to climate change may cause an increase in the possibility of forest disasters. Therefore, accurate monitoring of mountain meteorology is needed for efficient forest management. Korea Forest Service (KFS) is establishing the Automatic Mountain Meteorology Observation Stations (AMOS) in the mountain regions since 2012. 464 AMOSs are observing various meteorological variables such as air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, precipitation, soil temperature, and air pressure for every minute, which is conducted the quality control (QC) to retain data reliability. QC process includes the physical limit test, step test, internal consistency test, persistence test, climate range test, and median filter test. All of AMOS observations are open to use, which can be found from the Korean Mountain Meteorology Information System (KoMIS, http://mtweather.nifos.go.kr/) of the National Institute of Forest Science and the Public Data Portal (https://public.go.kr/). AMOS observations with guaranteed quality can be used in various forest fields including the public safety, forest recreation, forest leisure activities, etc., and can contribute to the advancement of forest science and technology. In this paper, a series of processes are introduced to collect and use the AMOS dataset in the mountain region in South Korea.

The purpose of ICT Healing platform is the prevention of chronic disease. It is intended to early warning of the disease through the information such as the bio-signals and lifestyle. In this paper, we provide a 2-Step open system(TOS) for personalized health data access. TOS is connected between the personal health related data providers and service providers of individuals ICT Healing platform, a software engine for relaying personalized health data. The proposed system, to operate in isolation to 2 step in personal health document repository Inbound module and Outbound module to provide an inquiry service to external organizations. Therefore, we propose a personalized editable Manifest concept for defining data exchange between Step. This can be used as a reference model to collect the personal health information is scattered in many health related service institutions (Hospitals, Fitness Centers, Health Examination Centers, Personal Health Device, etc.) and under private-led liberalization.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of training programs for strengthening teachers' ICT competency and to suggest the ways to improve the existing ones. To do this, we conducted literature review, web survey with teachers, and in-depth interview with training program operators. The results of the online survey indicated that generally speaking, the programs had been operated desirably, although three programs(Thinking with Technology Course, Essential Course, e-PBL Instructional Design Course) needed to take additional efforts for their effectiveness and efficiency. According to the results of in-depth interview with training operators, they demanded re-training for lecturers, self career development, quality control of regional delivery training, expansion of training periods, and post-supports after training etc.
