An Analysis on the Current Status of ICT Uses in Higher Education (대학교 정보통신기술 활용 실태 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of information and communications technology(ICT) uses of the faculty members at national universities of education and to provide guidelines for ICT in education. The survey was conducted to examine factors related to the use of ICT, including faculty members' abilities to use ICT with respect to gender, age, and previous experiences with computers and to analyze their relevance to instructional methods. The results of the survey showed that female faculty members and male faculty members in their sixties and those with less years of teaching career were more likely to need support for using ICT than the others. The direct instructional method and discussion were the most frequently used; discussion was positively correlated with ICT uses. It was also found that faculty members anticipated more difficulties in using ICT in class and needed to work in a collaborative way and learn more effective use of ICT in the teaching and learning process.

Effect Analysis of Learning Using Educational Contents (교육용 콘텐츠를 활용한 수업의 효과 분석)

  • The importance of ICT is being emphasized in this information-oriented society. In the 7th curriculum, it is necessary to use ICT more than 10% in teaching every subjects to keep pace with this trend. The distinctive feature of the curriculum lies in the introduction of various gradations and levels of the individual students. In this paper, by designing and applying the teaching idea based on educational contents, we analyzed how it has an effect on achieving of studies. As the results of this research, we found that teaching based on educational contents made students the meaningful increasement of interest in the controlled group and according to the increasement of the achievement in studying, the improvement of teaching are confirmed.

  • With changing to the new information technology society, education has also been urged to utilize the Information Ccmmunication Technology(ICT). Thanks to the recent efforts by the government, a large number of schools has been equipped with advanced educational technologies. While there has been a lot of studies on how to use ICT more effectively, relatively few is the studies about the activating factors of ICT utilization. More than often than not, those studies have been conducted about the survey of current situations of ICT utilization and have never had implemented based on the theory of diffusion of innovation. As a result, the current study surveyed the previous studies about encouraging and resistance factors of ICT utilization in light of the theory of diffusion of innovation and environmental encouraging factors by Ely. Then, the efforts were made to present suggestions to encourage the utilization of ICT in schools.

  • 지난 해 5월 정부가 그룹 VAN을 허용함에 따라 그룹사 정보처리 네트웍화의 길이 열렸다. 이로써 우리 나라에도 민간 VAN이 시작되었다. 민간 VAN은 이미 선진 각국의 주요 기업에 의해 산업화되어 급성장하고 있고, 국내에서도 근래들어 그룹사들에 의해 경영정보 공동활용과 새로운 유망 사업 분야로서 구상되기에 이르렀다. 이렇게 도입 욕구가 팽배된 적절한 시기에 민간 VAN이 허용됨에 따라 럭키금성을 비롯한 6개 그룹사가 이에 참여 하고 있는 가운데 제도상.기술상의 제반 문제점들이 도출되고 있다. 그룹 VAN 진출 기업들을 회원으로 하고 있는 본 협회는 국내 민간 VAN 사업의 활성화를 위하여 구랍 28일 문제점들의 시정을 정책 당국과 공중통신사업자, 그리고 진출기업에 건의 했다. 그 내용을 전개한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of ICT education in elementary school and find ways of its improvement. For the purpose, this researcher surveyed elementary school teachers. Results of the survey suggested that ICT education would enhance self-oriented learning skills and contribute to providing creative, competent human resources for information-oriented society, if ICT-related training is provided to teachers, educational environment for ICT use is improved, substantial curriculum and materials of ICT education are arranged and if teachers having basic skills and experiences in ICT education are secured.

  • This paper examined the information literacy which is the concrete purpose of the ICT using education which appeared in order to elevate the effects of education in school after the introduction of the 7th educational curriculum. Based on TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) that provides useful theoretical foundations for analyzing the factors influencing acceptance and diffusion of IT, it determined the factors influencing the process of accepting the information literacy instruction as follows: perceived usefulness; perceived ease of use; attitude; effects of the information literacy instruction; teachers' innovation; school library relevance; school librarians' support; and the self-efficacy. This paper confirmed the influences of these factors on the process of accepting the information literacy through empirical study. Through this study, it intended to suggest the ways to activate of the information literacy instruction.

  • 최근 학교 현장에서는 전통적인 교수 학습 방법을 탈피한 정보통신기술을 활용한 교수 학습 방법은 거스를 수 없는 정보화 사회의 새로운 교수 학습 모형으로 보편화되어 가고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현실 여건을 개선하고 교육과정이 요구하는 목표 달성을 위하여 학생들의 인터넷 사용의 대부분을 차지하는 커뮤니티 활동을 미니홈페이지라는 공간을 통해 교사와 학생 사이에 학습과 대화의 장으로 활용하기 위해 ICT 활용 교육 커뮤니티를 구축하였다. 이를 활용하여 학생들이 학습에 대한 관심과 흥미를 유발하고 시간과 장소에 구애를 받지 않으며 학생 자신이 주도적으로 학습 과제를 해결하는 학습과정으로 교수 학습 방법의 개선을 통하여 학생의 자기주도적 학습 능력이 신장되도록 ICT 활용 교육을 활성화하여 ICT 활용 교육이 우리 학교 현장에 튼튼히 뿌리를 내리는 데에 기여하고자 HTML학습을 위한 홈페이지를 블로그툴을 이용하여 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문은 디지털 플랫폼과 헬스케어 서비스를 통합한 병원 애플리케이션(병원 앱)의 개발 및 활용에 초점을 맞춘다. 목표는 환자와 의료 제공자 간의 의사 소통과 효율성을 향상시키는 것이다. 이 연구는 병원 앱의 주요 기능과 이점을 탐색하고, React Native를 사용하여 기술적 측면과 디자인 원칙을 제공하고, 적절한 사용 및 보안을 위한 지침을 검토한다. 이 연구는 병원 앱의 잠재력과 장점을 평가하고 의료 서비스 효율성과 품질을 향상시키기 위한 실용적인 지침을 제공하고 있다. 병원 앱의 통합으로 환자 치료, 커뮤니케이션을 개선하고 의료 프로세스를 간소화할 수 있다. React Native와 같은 기술을 활용하여 약속 일정, 예약 확인, 의료 정보 액세스, 의료 전문가 디렉토리와 같은 기능을 구현하여 포괄적인 사용자 경험을 제공할 수 있다. 지침과 규정을 준수하는 것은 의료 데이터의 적절한 사용과 보호를 보장하는 데 필수적이다. 향후 연구에서는 인공 지능 및 원격 의료와 같은 신기술을 병원 앱에 통합하고 장기적인 영향을 평가할 수 있다. 이 분야의 지속적인 개발과 혁신은 디지털 시대에 의료 서비스를 변화시킬 잠재력을 가지고 있다.

An Assessment of Readiness and Barriers toward ICT Tools - The Case of Korea National College of Agriculture and Fishery - (정보통신기술 활용에 대한 인식과 장애요인 - 한국농수산대학 학생들을 대상으로 -)

  • This study aims to examine agricultural college students' perception of readiness and barriers towards implementation of ICT program. Data were gathered from 175 student of agricultural college in Korea. Descriptive statistics, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA were applied to analyze the data. Results reveal that technology usefulness perception scores were high among the readiness components, but students readiness and school infrastructure readiness were low. Results also shows that policy and technology factors were also seen as the main barriers of ICT program implementation. Findings show that demographic variables did not significantly affect readiness and obstacles. The results of this study can provide guidance to the government or agricultural college organizations when considering readiness and barriers towards implementing ICT programs. In addition, this study contributes to improve the theory of adoption behavior and contributes to the foundation for future research aimed at improving our understanding of agricultural college students' behavior.
