An Experimental Performance Evaluation of V2I2V-based Car Communications over WCDMA/HSDPA/WiBro Networks (WCDMA/HSDPA/WiBro 기반의 V2I2V 차량간 통신의 실험적 성능평가)

  • This paper presents implementation details of car communications system based on V2I2V model over broadband wireless networks including WCDMA, HSDPA and WiBro. Also, we measures the major performance metrics such as Round Trip Time, end-to-end latency and others between in-vehicle client and location management system by driving across urban areas in Daegu city. Analysis of experimental results would be helpful to consider the applicability of traffic safety services using V2I2V-based car communications over various broadband wireless networks.

  • 본 연구에서는 시스템 내부에 존재하는 불확실성에 대하여 안정성을 만족하는 입력신호 V, I, R, PWM의 신호를 사용자가 선택하는 신호로 변환하여 출력할 수 있는 신호변환기의 성능 및 설계방법을 연구 한다. 본 연구에서는 시간지연이 존재하는 신호변환기를 안정된 입/출력을 수행하여 나타나는 V, I, R, PWM 신호의 시간지연의 영향을 고려한 설계와 그 성능을 평가해 보았다.

  • In u-TSN environment, the communication between vehicle terminal and roadside equipment is very important to support prompt service and to secure road traffic information in real-time upon organizing traffic system. This study suggested V2I or I2V communication service scenario for performance test on vehicle communication system as well as V2V inter-vehicle communication service scenario for emergency information transmission which requires rapidity and accuracy. After implementing real inter-vehicle communication system, we performed vehicle communication experiment following suggested communication service scenario to test the performance. Consequently, we could draw out the optimal transmission mode setup condition, and the result can be applied to the development of stable and efficient u-TSN vehicle communication system.

  • This paper provides the performance measurement and analysis of Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 in a mobile environment. The performances of IEEE802.11b/g and IEEE802.11p designed for Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V) communication are measured and analyzed. Diameter of communication and link access time are compared under variation of speed of the vehicle.

  • This paper provides the performance measurement and analysis of Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 in a mobile environment. The performance of IEEE802.11b/g and IEEE802.11p that is designed for Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V) communication is measured and analyzed. Diameter of communication, link access time and delay are measured as vehicle's speed varies. Also, the performance is checked in a situation that the load to network varies. In conclusion, the futher research topics are discussed.

  • In this study, high performance electrode catalyst was developed in fabrication of membrane electrode assembly for PEMFCs(Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells). The I-V characteristics were measured to evaluate the influence of Nafion solution and Pt loading amount in the catalyst composition. The electrode characteristics were also investigated with respect to temperature change. The electrode performance was optimized at Nafion 5 wt% and 0.5 mg Pt/$\textrm{cm}^2$ content. The increase in the concentration of Nafion solution resulted in the decrease in electrode performance. At $80^{\circ}C$ of unit cell, I-V characteristics excelled those obtained at lower temperature. There was no difference in performance at low current density, but the improvement of voltage value in higher temperature could be found at high current density.

The research of 5.2 protocol performance and structure (V5.2 프로토콜의 성능 및 구조분석)

  • In this thesis I analyzed that V5.2 protocol function is effective to fulfill all of the services that are provided at the existing local exchange. I analyzed this in five methods that refer to ETSI inside patronage. I experimented turnaround time by Start-up method and verified V5.2 protocol function when Start-up. Also I confirmed stability of system by the reconstruction-ability experiment related E1 switch over. I verified V5.2 protocol function through PSTN call process that uses a special service test and local call simulator. As a result of experiment, I confirmed the best method when simultaneous Start-up. V5.2 protocol function was excellent and It becomes switch over at 1/1000 seconds when E1 is out of service. V5.2 protocol function was effective to fulfill all of the special services that are provided at local exchange and its long call process ability was superior to KT standard with 4 fails in 20000 calls. Through the experiment, it was proved that V5.2 interface will become a significant element of communication network when after LE side expanse of v5 interface ID with TDX-100 exchanger and the AN occurrences OOS by message transmission limit and call disconnect when E1 switch over are improved.

  • The C-ARS(Cooperative Automated Roadway System) refers to a road infrastructure system that links automated vehicles with road infrastructure and communicates with each other via V2X communication to support automated vehicles. The purpose of this study is to suggest a performance evaluation method of C-ARS service. This study exemplifies the 'Work zone information service' among I2V service that provide information to automated vehicles in road infrastructure. First, we define the requirements and service scope needed to check the use case analysis and service performance of the service, and propose an evaluation system for performance evaluation of these services. In addition, the evaluation system was used to verify the feasibility of evaluation through the field test of 'Work zone information service'.

Performance and Multi-hop Transmission Tests for Vehicular Communication Systems in Real Road Environments (실제 도로환경에서 차량 통신시스템의 성능 및 멀티홉 전송시험)

  • The driving environment of the vehicle has characteristics that the change of position, velocity and distance between vehicles is severe. The performance test of system must be carried out in the real road environments with consideration of the driving environment of vehicles to measure the performance correctly because the performance of vehicular communication systems is affected by the driving conditions of the vehicle. In this paper, we propose the test methods of V2V/V2I performance and V2V multi-hop transmission function and present the test results measured by the vehicular communication systems already developed. In the test result, we confirmed the fact that the distance of communication devices and the driving direction of vehicle are affecting the communication performance. We also confirmed the multi-hop transmission function using the driving vehicle in the limited area as the proposed test method.

ZnO/PMMA 나노복합소재와 $C_{60}$ 층과 결합하여 제작한 유기 쌍 안정성 소자의 메모리 성능 향상

  • 유기 쌍안정성 소자는 비휘발성 기억 소자 중에서 구조가 간단하고 제작비용이 저렴하며 유연성을 가지기 때문에 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 현재 유기물/무기물 나노복합소재를 사용하여 소자 성능 향상이 기억소자의 성능 향상을 위하여 여러 가지 유기물/무기물 나노복합소재를 사용하여 제작한 유기 쌍안정성 소자가 유연성을 가진 비휘발성 기억소자로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ZnO 나노입자를 포함한 PMMA 복합층을 사용하여 제작한 유기 쌍안정성 기억소자를 제작하여 메모리 특성을 조사하였다. 이와 더불어 활성층에 효과적인 전하주입을 위하여 전극과 PMMA/ZnO 층 사이에 $C_{60}$ 층을 삽입한 구조를 가진 메모리 소자의 성능 향상에 대하여 연구하였다. Indium tin oxide 가 증착된 유리 기판위에 $C_{60}$ 층을 스핀코팅 방법으로 적층하였다. 1 wt% ZnO 나노입자와 1 wt% PMMA를 혼합하여 스핀코팅 방법으로 $C_{60}$ 층 위에 박막을 형성하였다. 그리고, 전극으로 Al을 열증착으로 형성하였다. $C_{60}$ 층이 있는 유기 쌍안정성 기억 소자와 $C_{60}$ 층이 없는 두 가지의 소자에 대하여 전류-전압 (I-V) 특성을 측정하여 각각의 소자에서의 전류 히스테리시스 현상이 발생하는 원인을 규명하였다. I-V 특성 결과와 전자적 구조를 사용하여 유기 쌍안정성 소자에서의 쓰기, 지우기 및 읽기 동작에 대한 과정을 설명하였다. 두 소자의 I-V 특성을 비교하므로 $C_{60}$ 층을 사용하여 유기 쌍안정성 소자의 성능이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 $C_{60}$ 층을 사용하여 제작된 유기 쌍안정성 소자의 성능이 향상된 원인을 규명하였다.
