대용량 포미장치 피로시험기의 충격 거동 모델링 (A Study of Dynamic Impact Models for Pile-Driver Breech Fatigue Testing System)

  • This paper presents the modeling and validation of a pile-driver breech fatigue testing system model to replicate actual high pressure in a large caliber gun barrel. A hysteresis damping function was incorporated in the nonlinear impact force model. Test of real pile-driver breech fatigue testing system had been performed for model validation. Comparison of the experimental result and model simulation during impact were made. Numerical studies were performed to evaluate how the actual chamber pressure pattern in the live firing of gun barrel was affected by parameters' variation. Some of the parameters simulated included input velocity, damping coefficient and stiffness. As a result, a variety of actual chamber pressure pattern could be reproduced and controlled through current simulation model.

  • This paper deal with the efficiency evaluations in a Synchronous reluctance motor(SynRM) Vs. PMASynRM using a coupled transient finite element method(FEM) and preisach modeling, which is presented to analyze the characteristics under the effect of saturation and hysteresis loss. The focus of this paper is the efficiency evaluation relative to hysteresis loss, copper loss, etc. on the basis of load condition in a SynRM and PMASynRM. Computer simulation and experiment at result for the efficiency using dynamometer shoe the propriety of the proposed method.

  • Even though SMA actuators have high power to volume ratio, there exist disadvantages such as hysteresis and saturation. So the model identification for SMA actuators is very difficult. For the qualitative model identification, we described the behavior of SMA actuators using a so-called diagonal model, which can readily expect the turning point of an incomplete phase transformation. For the quantitative model identification, we developed the general dynamics of SMA actuators using the modified Liang's model. Using this dynamics we can describe the hysteresis and the saturation very well. It is also very important to notice that the modified Liang's model maintains a continuous martensite fraction at the change of the phase transformation but the original model cannot.

  • 히스테리시스 제어를 사용하는 Buck 컨버터의 평균모델을 위한 Duty Cycle 모델이 수학적으로 구해진다. 이 모델은 시간영역에서 연속 전도 모드와 불연속 전도 모드 모두를 동시에 시물레이션할 수 있다. 또한, SABER의 MAST언어를 이용하여, 제안된 모델의 템플릿이 제시되며, 이 템플릿은 시간영역이나 주파수 영역의 해석을 위해 사용되어질 수 있다. 이 템플릿의 정확성을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 증명한다.

Hysteresis modeling for cyclic behavior of concrete-steel composite joints using modified CSO

  • Concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) column joints with composite beams have been widely used as lateral loading resisting elements in civil infrastructure. To better utilize these innovative joints for the application of structural seismic design and analysis, it is of great importance to investigate the dynamic behavior of the joint under cyclic loading. With this aim in mind, a novel phenomenal model has been put forward in this paper, in which a Bouc-Wen hysteresis component is employed to portray the strength and stiffness deterioration phenomenon caused by increment of loading cycle. Then, a modified chicken swarm optimization algorithm was used to estimate the optimal model parameters via solving a global minimum optimization problem. Finally, the experimental data tested from five specimens subjected to cyclic loadings were used to validate the performance of the proposed model. The results effectively demonstrate that the proposed model is an easy and more realistic tool that can be used for the pre-design of CFST column joints with reduced beam section (RBS) composite beams.

Estimating the State-of-Charge of Lithium-Ion Batteries Using an H-Infinity Observer with Consideration of the Hysteresis Characteristic

  • The conventional methods used to evaluate battery state-of-charge (SOC) cannot accommodate the chemistry nonlinearities, measurement inaccuracies and parameter perturbations involved in estimation systems. In this paper, an impedance-based equivalent circuit model has been constructed with respect to a LiFePO4 battery by approximating the electrochemical impedance spectrum (EIS) with RC circuits. The efficiencies of approximating the EIS with RC networks in different series-parallel forms are first discussed. Additionally, the typical hysteresis characteristic is modeled through an empirical approach. Subsequently, a methodology incorporating an H-infinity observer designated for open-circuit voltage (OCV) observation and a hysteresis model developed for OCV-SOC mapping is proposed. Thereafter, evaluation experiments under FUDS and UDDS test cycles are undertaken with varying temperatures and different current-sense bias. Experimental comparisons, in comparison with the EKF based method, indicate that the proposed SOC estimator is more effective and robust. Moreover, test results on a group of Li-ion batteries, from different manufacturers and of different chemistries, show that the proposed method has high generalization capability for all the three types of Li-ion batteries.

가변 히스테리시스 전류제어 모델링을 통한 SRM 구동특성 (SRM Driving Characteristics through Modeling of Variable Hysteresis Current Control)

  • SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor)의 토크는 인덕턴스의 기울기에 비례하여 발생하기 때문에 비선형 토크 특성을 가지며 토크 맥동이 크고 소음이 심한 단점을 가지고 있다. 특히 SRM의 상용화에 가장 큰 장해 요인으로 작용하고 있는 것은 회전축에서 발생하는 맥동 토크로 이에 의해 기기자체는 물론이고 주변장치에까지 여러 가지 악영향을 미친다. 따라서 맥동 토크를 저감시키는 방법으로 다양한 방안이 국내외 연구자들에 의하여 발표되었고 히스테리시스 제어기의 경우 초핑 제어에 비해 평활한 전류를 흘려줄 수 있다는 장점이 있다는 연구결과가 있다. 그러나 히스테리시스 밴드를 결정함에 있어서 밴드가 너무 작을 경우 많은 스위칭으로 인한 스위칭 손실과 엔코더의 사용 시 불안정한 초기 기동을 야기할 수 있는 둥의 단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 속도오차에 따른 히스테리시스 밴드의 변화를 통하여 보다 안정적이고 빠른 속도응답을 가지면서 정상상태에서 토크 리플을 줄일 수 있는 가변 히스테리시스 제어기에 대하여 연구하였다.

판 스프링의 비선형 동특성 해석 (Finite Element Modeling and Analysis of Nonlinear Dynamic characterisics of Leaf spring)

  • Leaf springs are widely used as a major suspension component in many commercial vehicles, such as buses, trucks, etc. They have a complex dynamic behavior due to the geometric nonlinear and the contact mechanism between the leaves. The interface conditions between the leaves play a significant role in the global behavior of the comfort and ride of the vehicle system. The paper concentrates on modeling leaf springs and contact frictions between the leaves using a nonlinear finite element approach. A nonlinear load-displacement hysteresis curve for the leaf spring is simulated and its results are compared with test results.
