The era of the 4th industrial revolution is a complex environment in which the cyber world and the physical world are integrated and interacted. In order to successfully implement and be sustainable the 4th industrial revolution of hyper-connectivity, hyper-convergence, and hyper-intelligence, not only the technological aspects that implemented digitalization but also the social aspects must be recognized and dealt with as important. There are socio-technical systems and socio-technical systems theory as concepts that describe systems involving complex interactions between the environmental aspects of human, mechanical and tissue systems. This study confirmed how the Socio-technical System was applied in the research literature for the last 10 years through machine learning-based analysis. Eight clusters were derived by performing co-occurrence keywords network analysis, and 13 research topics were derived and analyzed by performing a structural topic model. This study provides consensus and insight on the social and technological perspectives necessary for the sustainability of the 4th industrial revolution.

Since Tim Berners-Lee introduced the idea of the web to the world in the late 1980s, the way information is produced, accessed and used has been constantly changing. This was once again an era of upheaval after Apple's Steve Jobs introduced the smartphone to the world in the mid-2000s. Before the advent of smart devices, web browsing was mainly done using desktops. After the advent of this device, the era of solving almost all human needs with a small PC in the palm of your hand has arrived. The necessity of seamless connectivity between devices, which are constantly emerging and evolving, asks our attention more than ever. In this study, we will discuss a case of design and development of a national open access website, which is optimized for dynamic online user behaviors with diverse devices. Our goal is to provide one true web for people to use in their environment. Device makers need to provide products identical to the desktop environment as much as possible. Service providers should also provide services optimized for each device in hyper-connected environments. Providing a web, optimized for user's online context, will eventually result in a sustainable user experience.
With the development of sensor, communication and intelligent software technology, expectation of IoT-based service which can receive desired service automatically and anytime, anywhere is getting higher. In addition, IoT-based services have begun to anticipate the development of a hyper-connected society. Despite these expectations and anticipations, few studies have empirically identified ways to improve the intentions of prospective customers to use IoT-based services. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to propose a theoretical model that can explain the factors that determine the intention of using IoT-based services. In addition, this study investigates what factors affect the intention to use IoT-based services focusing on the connectedness. Especially, perceived connectivity with the (virtual) community, unlike the connectivity with the machines, is newly proposed, to understand the IoT technology adoption behavior. The empirical results suggest that social relationship is one of the critical factors to affect the use of services running on interconnected technology such as IoT. When IoT-based service is recognized as a link to other communities, it has been found to have a positive effect on intention to use via perceived belongingness.

The 'Hyper-connected society' in which all objects such as people, device, place are connected via networks and share information being realized. As the information and communication environment changes, spatial information also faces a significant challenge. Korean government is striving to meet the social demand for spatial information that will bring 'Hyper-connectivity' such as autonomous vehicles, drones. Until now, however, it has only partially responded to urgent demand and has not prepared a fundamental countermeasure. In order to effectively and actively respond to the demand for spatial information that is needed in the Hyper-connected society, a strategy that can lead to mid- to long-term fundamental changes is needed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the future demand and application characteristics of spatial information confronted with a big paradigm shift called 'Hyper-connected society', and to search spatial information strategy that can cope with the demand of spatial information in future society.

Joint research on software, electronic engineering, computer engineering, and financial engineering and the use of ICT knowledge through network formation play an important role in strengthening science and technology-based innovation capabilities and facilitating the development and production process of products using new technologies. For the purpose of this study, I would like to strategically propose ICT specialized education in the 4th industrial revolution. To this end, the ICT specialization model, ICT specialization strategy analysis, and ICT specialization operation and effect were explored to establish ICT specialization strategies centered on software, electronic engineering, computer engineering, and financial engineering in the era of super-intelligence, hyper-connected, and hyper-convergence. Secondly, a roadmap for detailed promotion tasks related to efficient ICT characterization based on core strategies, detailed promotion tasks, and programs was proposed, focusing on talent related to ICT characterization. Thirdly, we would like to propose a reorganization of the academic structure and organization related to ICT characterization. Finally, we would like to propose the establishment of a future-oriented education system related to ICT specialization based on the advanced education and research environment.

The first mission for the IoT based hyper-connectivity communication is developing a device-to-device communication technique in infra-less low-power and lossy networks. In a low-power and lossy wireless network, IoT devices and routers cannot keep the original path toward the destination since they have the limited memory. Different from the previous light-weight routing protocols focusing on the reduction of the control messages, the proposed scheme provides the light-weight IPv6 address auto-configuration, IPv6 neighbor discovery and routing protocol in a IoT capable infra-less wireless networks with the bloom filer and enhanced rank concepts. And for the first time we evaluate our proposed scheme based on the modeling of various probability distributions in the IoT environments with the lossy wireless link. Specifically, the proposed enhanced RPL based light-weight routing protocol improves the robustness with the multi-paths locally established based on the enhanced rank concepts even though lossy wireless links are existed. We showed the improvements of the proposed scheme up to 40% than the RPL based protocol.

The sixth generation(6G) wireless communication technology is advancing toward ultra-high speed, ultra-high bandwidth, and hyper-connectivity. With the development of communication technologies, the formation of a hyper-connected society is rapidly accelerating, expanding from the IoT(Internet of Things) to the IoE(Internet of Everything). However, at the same time, security threats targeting IoT devices have become widespread, and there are concerns about security incidents such as unauthorized access and information leakage. As a result, the need for security-enhancing solutions is increasing. In this paper, we implement an autoencoder-based anomaly detection model utilizing real-time collected network traffics in respond to IoT security threats. Considering the difficulty of capturing IoT device traffic data for each attack in real IoT environments, we use an unsupervised learning-based autoencoder and implement 6 different autoencoder models based on the use of noise in the training data and the dimensions of the latent space. By comparing the model performance through experiments, we provide a performance evaluation of the anomaly detection model for detecting abnormal network traffic.
