A Case of Tubulointerstitial Nephritis and Uveitis (TINU) (Tubulointerstitial Nephritis and Uveitis (TINU) 1례)

  • Tubulointerstitial nephritis and uveitis (TINU) is a rare syndrome of unknown etiology involving the kidney and the eye. This is the first case reput of TINU in Korea. The diagnosis of TINU was confirmed in a 15-year-old girl on the basis of pathologically proven tubulointerstitial nephritis and bilateral uveitis. Although the renal symptoms disappeared spontaneously, uveitis showed only partial response to topical steroid treatment and persisted fir more than 11 months. TINU should be included in the differential diagnosis of tubulointerstitial nephritis of unknown etiology.

  • 연구목적 : 청각장애 아동들은 청각적 피드백의 손실로 인하여 분절적 측면뿐만 아니라 초분절적인 측면도 건청 아동과는 다른 형태를 나타낸다. 석동일(1999)은 청각장애인의 모음 조음의 특성을 고찰한 결과, 저모음의 지속시간이 길며, 고모음의 지속시간이 짧다고 하였다. 또한, 청각장애인들은 자음 산출에 있어서 가시적인 효과가 높은 음소가 낮은 음소에 비해 정조음률이 높다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 청각장애 아동의 자음 중 가장 많이 오조음하는 /s/의 오류 형태에 따라 선.후행하는 고모음 /i/와 저모음 /a/의 지속시간을 비교.연구하는 것이다. Greenhouse Gas Emission Patterns at Intersections by Drivers (교차로에서 운전자별 온실가스 발생 경향)

  • PURPOSES: To analyze the specific factors of drivers behaviors that amount of cause the greenhouse gas emissions per vehicle. METHODS: Drivers behaviors at intersections are analyzed on the conditions of acceleration and deceleration. RESULTS : First, it is resulted greenhouse gas emissions per vehicle is produced more at intersections than at the main lines of highway. Second, it is resulted that the average speed, the average acceleration rate and the maximum speed are three major factors to produce greenhouse gas per vehicle in acceleration sections. Third, it is resulted that rapid deceleration 20m before entering intersections is the major factor to produce greenhouse gas per vehicle in deceleration sections. CONCLUSIONS: At intersections, sudden acceleration and deceleration is not good for greenhouse gas emissions. Thus, and the average speed, the average acceleration rate and the maximum speed are the chosen as factors to be controlled for drivers' behavior to reduce vehicles' greenhouse gas at intersections.

Prediction and analysis of noise level of outdoor areas in roadside apartment complexes (도로변 아파트 단지 옥외공간의 소음도 예측 및 분석)

  • Outdoor spaces in an apartment complex have been enlarged by the increased underground car parking. It has become accepted as important place for acoustic comfort of resident. This paper attempts to determine the noise exposure to the outdoor area in 21 apartment complexes built within 5 years. The results showed that the average noise level of outdoor area ranged from 37.6dB(A) to 67.2dB(A). And the percentage of areas below the noise level of 55dB(A) range 0.1% to 95.0%. The analysis on correlations shows that the traffic volume and building coverage have significant effects on noise level.
