  • Due to the increase of oil price, the needs of the reduction of the fuel cost is rising. Therefore, necessity of hybrid vehicle that runs with engine and the electric motor is on the rise. In order to improve the performance of hybrid vehicle, many researches is carried out. Hybrid vehicles have been developed with the various layout such as serial type, parallel type, power split type, and multi-mode type. The multi-mode hybrid vehicles are designed to show the efficient driving characteristics at low speed and high speed. But the multi-mode system have the problem such as frequent clutch engagement. Frequent clutch engagement causes the shock of vehicles, and the shock inhibits the ride comfort. In this study, automation mechanism of clutch operation is proposed to mitigate the shock at engaging clutch. For this purpose, the dynamic characteristics of motor control is numerically analyzed by using Matlab/Simulink.

  • In this paper, a design of lossless hybrid-type magnetic levitation system is presented. The lossless hybrid-type system is implemented by a permanent-magnet and electro-magnetic system. The target plant consists of eight hybrid-type magnets and at steady-state, no current is needed to support the load. The design procedure is described and the results of this work are shown.

  • This paper presents a design of lossless hybrid-type magnetically-levitated vehicle. The lossless hybrid-type system is implemented by a permanent magnet and electromagnet.   • Total efficiency of transmitter system was improved by developing combinational 2-Way Isohybrid for GSM1900 base station in this paper. The size of product was decreased and the characteristics were stabilized. The isohybrid transmitter combiner of chip coupler type and hybrid coupler type were designed and fabricated. Insertion loss for chip coupler type isohybrid was $3.17\;dB{\sim}3.47\;dB$. On the other hand, insertion loss for hybrid coupler type was $3.17\;dB{\sim}3.42\;dB$. Isolations between ANT and port were $24.23\;dB{\sim}29.98\;dB$ in case of chip coupler type Isohybrid and were $26.28\;dB{\sim}36.91\;dB$ in case of hybrid coupler type, respectively.

  • A hybrid censoring is a mixture of Type-I and Type-II censoring schemes. This paper deals with estimation based on Type-I hybrid censored samples from the half triangle distribution. We derive some estimators of the scale parameter of the half triangle distribution based on Type-I hybrid censored samples. We compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error for various censored samples.

  • Employing the TRIZ problem solving technique, a hybrid-type center plate for the molten carbonate fuel cell(MCFC) was developed for the purpose of improving gas sealing and maintenance. The manufacturing method of the hybrid-type center plate was divided into a trimming operation and a two-step bending process. In the latter, a modified punch shape was used to reduce springback. Using finite element(FE) simulations, bending stresses in the thickness and the in-plane directions were computed and the bending conditions were optimized. The optimized results of the two-step bending process were used as a basis for the design of the trimming process of the hybrid-type center plate. Finally, the external manifold-type center plate and the hybrid-type center plate were fabricated using a die set that accounts for the optimized conditions. It was found that the numerical simulation results were in good agreement with the experiments.

Effects of Cutting Frequency on Yield and Nutritive Value Between Heading and Headless Varieties of Sorghum$\times$Sudangrass Hybrid (수수$\times$수단그라스 교잡종의 출수형과 불출수형 품종간 예취횟수가 수량성 및 사료가치에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of cutting frequency on dry matter yield and nutritive value between heading and headless varieties of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid in 1998. Treatments were var. TE hay grazer(heading type) and Jumbo(headless type) as main plot, and 1, 2, and 3 cutting times per a year as sub plot. Although plant height of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid was no significant difference among treatments, headless type was very slightly higher than that of heading type, and both of variety decreased with 1, 2, and 3 cutting times in order. Also, dry matter yield of sorghum~sudangrass hybrid was no significant difference between heading and headless type. Dry matter yield of first cutting plot in heading type and in headless type was the higher than those of second and third cutting plot. Acid detergent fiber and neutral detergent fiber of headless type were slightly higher than that of heading type. Acid detergent fiber of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid was highest at first cutting plot in both varieties. Neutral detergent fiber of second cutting plot in heading type and first cutting plot in headless type were the highest respectively. In vitro dry matter digestibility of headless type was very slightly higher than that of heading type. And in vitro dry matter digestibility of second cutting plot was the highest in both varieties. In vitro digestible dry matter of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid was no significant difference among treatments. The results demonstrated that although there was not significant difference, cultivation of headless type and first cutting plot per a year were very good for nutritive value and DM yield of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid as summer forage crops in Korea. Comparison of Small Current Interruption Capability Depending on the Type of Interrupter (차단부 형태에 따른 소전류 차단성능 비교)

  • This paper presents the results of a small capacitive current interruption test for the three types of interrupter which are called 'serial type', 'parallel/separated type' and 'puffer type' according to the arrangement of the thermal expansion chamber and the puffer cylinder. After the preconditioning test the small current interruption capability of the 'puffer type' decreased, on the contrary, that of the hybrid interrupters increased. A number of reignition have been occurred in the 'serial type' hybrid interrupter and the change of small current interruption capability after preconditioning test is mainly influenced by the structure of interrupter. Finally it has been proved that the 'parallel/separated type' hybrid interrupter has the best interruption performance through the verification tests.

  • In this paper, we proposed that optimum installation methods and characteristics of the hybrid type flame-sensor. The hybrid type flame-sensor has the high responsive performance. This research introduced the characteristics of the hybrid type flame-sensor, it was consist of IR/UV flame detector and proposed the optimum installation methods of false alarm reduced to resemble fire.
