비상용 디젤동기발전시스템기반 독립운전 하이브리드에너지시스템 모델 설정 및 시뮬레이션 분석에 관한 연구 (Simulation Analysis and Development of Matlab/Simulink Model for Stand-alone Operation of Emergency Diesel Synchronous Generator-based Hybrid Energy System)

  • In this paper, enhanced stand-alone operation and development of Matlab/Simulink model of emergency diesel based hybrid energy system is presented. Simulations based on the remote community or islands were performed for PV-diesel-battery hybrid system. Modeling of PV-diesel-battery integrated system is done to perform under the solar radiation and load conditions on Matlab/Simulink platform. The models of diesel generator unit, battery energy storage system, PV and frequency-power control are developed and simulation studies have been carried out under various conditions using Matlab/Simulink and SimPowerSystem. It is demonstrated that the proposed system can provide reliable and good quality power to the customers in diesel synchronous generator-based hybrid energy systems.

  • In this paper, we propose to study the possibility of using a photovoltaic system combined with a high speed micro-turbine. This hybrid system can work as stand-alone system or grid connected system as it will be a part of a micro-grid. Initially, we propose Matlab/Simulink dynamic models of photovoltaic, micro turbine systems and supercapacitor. Then, we carry out a simulation comparison of the two systems, this is, with supercapacitor and without supercapacitor bank. We show that supercapacitor bank as short-term storage device was necessary to reduce the fast fluctuation of power in the case of sensitive loads. It is verified the simulation results of Matlab/Simulink based hybrid power system represent the effectiveness of the suggested hybrid power system.

  • Many production management systems for increasing productivity, minimizing inventory, keeping due dates and maximizing use of resources have been proposed, and GT, MRP and JIT are frequently used among these systems. The three systems have merits and demerits through comparing with each other. Because each system has mutual dependence, a hybrid production system Is necessary for using their merits maximally. In this study, a hybrid production system is designed by combining GT, MRP and JIT, which is suitable in the domestic production system and it is presented as followings. -.   • In this paper, an integrated method for the path planning and motion control of wheeled mobile robots using a hybrid system model and control is presented. The hybrid model including the continuous dynamics and discrete dynamics with the continuous and discrete state vector is derived for a two wheel driven mobile robot. The architecture of the hybrid control system for real time path planning and following is designed which has the 3-layered hierarchical structure : the discrete event system using the digital automata as the higher process, the continuous state system for the wheel velocity controls as the lower process, and the interface system as the interaction process between the continuous system as the low level and the discrete event system as the high level. The reference motion commands for autonomous navigation are generated by the abstracted motion in the discrete event system. The motion control tasks including the feasible path planning and autonomous motion control with various initial conditions are investigated as the applications by the simulation studies.

소형 가압형 연료전지/가스터빈 하이브리드 시스템의 성능 비교해석 (Comparative Performance Analysis of Small Pressurized Fuel Cell/Gas Turbine Hybrid Systems)

  • Design performances of the fuel cell / gas turbine hybrid power generation systems based on two different fuel cells (PEMFC, SOFC) have been comparatively analyzed. In each system, the fuel cell operates at an elevated pressure corresponding to the compressed air pressure of the gas turbine. Both internally and externally reformed systems were analyzed for the SOFC hybrid system. Component design parameters of 10kW class small systems are assumed. For all hybrid systems, increasing the turbine inlet temperature increases the power portion of the gas turbine. With increasing the turbine inlet temperature, system efficiency decreases in the PEMFC system and the internally reformed SOFC system while that of the externally reformed SOFC system increases slightly. The internally reformed SOFC hybrid system is predicted to exhibit the best system efficiency.

  • 본 논문은 하이브리드 전기 추진 시스템의 전력 제어에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 하이브리드 전기 추진 시스템은 기본적으로 발전기와 축전지 전원을 이용하여 선박을 추진하는 시스템이다. 하이브리드 추진 시스템은 공급되는 전력을 최소화하기 위한 제어 알고리즘으로 동작한다. 본 논문에서는 하이브리드 전기 추진 시스템의 효율을 증가시키기 위한 축전지 충전 알고리즘을 제안한다. 실험을 통하여 제어 알고리즘이 하이브리드 전기 추진 시스템에서 정상적으로 동작하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • The hybrid liquid desiccant air conditioning system has been in use for many years, primarily in industrial process applications requiring dehumidification and humidity control. In this study, the hybrid dehumidifier has been designed to study the dehumidification characteristic of the aqueous triethylene glycol (TEG) solution. The experimental results show energy efficient characteristics of hybrid liquid desiccant air conditioning system compared with the refrigeration system in terms of energy use, the difference of pressure loss between hybrid liquid desiccant air conditioning system and refrigeration system. Data obtained are useful for design guidance and performance analysis of the hybrid air conditioning system.

친환경 하이브리드 동력 시스템 개발 및 농기계 응용 (Development of an Environmental Friendly Hybrid Power System and its Application to Agricultural Machines)

  • A hybrid power system was developed for agricultural machines with a 20kW output capacity, and it was attached to a multi-purpose cultivator to improve the performance of the cultivator. The hybrid system combined heterogeneous sources: an internal-combustion engine and an electric power motor. In addition, a power splitter was developed to simplify the power transmission structure. The cultivator using a hybrid system was designed to have increased fuel efficiency and output power and reduced exhaust gas emissions, while maintaining the functions of existing cultivators. The fuel consumption for driving the cultivator in the hybrid engine vehicle (HEV) mode was 341g/kWh, which was 36% less than the consumption in the engine (ENG) mode for the same load. The maximum power take off output of the hybrid power system was 12.7kW, which was 38% more than the output of the internal-combustion engine. In the HEV mode, harmful exhaust gas emissions were reduced; i.e., CO emissions were reduced by 36~41% and NOx emissions were reduced by 27~51% compared to the corresponding emissions in the ENG mode. The hybrid power system improved the fuel efficiency and reduced exhaust gas emissions in agricultural machinery. The hybrid system's lower exhaust gas emissions have considerable advantages in closed work environments such as crop production facilities. Therefore, agricultural machinery with less exhaust gas emissions should be commercialized.

다중톤 재밍이 존재하는 나카가미-­m 페이딩 환경에서 BFSK 변조방식을 이용한 Hybrid DS/SFH 확산대역 시스템의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of Hybrid DS/SFH Spread Spectrum System using BFSK Modulations over Nakagami-m Fading Channel with Multitone Jamming)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중톤 재밍이 존재하는 나카가미­m 페이딩 환경하에서 BFSK 변조방식을 사용한 Hybrid DS/FH 확산대역 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 주파수 도약율이 증가할수록 시스템의 성능이 향상되었으며, 확산대역 시스템의 복합비를 고정하였을 경우 DS확산대역 방식의 시스템보다 더 낮은 비트 에러 확률을 가짐을 증명하였다. 또한 m값이 증가함에 따라 페이딩의 영향이 감소함을 알 수 있었으며, 신호대 방해신호의 전력비(SJR)가 증가할수록 DS 확산대역 시스템보다 성능이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 결과적으로 재밍이 존재하는 나카가미­m 페이딩 환경 하에서 Hybrid DS/SFH 확산대역 시스템의 성능이 DS 확산대역 시스템의 성능보다 우수함을 입증하였다.

퍼지 논리를 이용한 연료전지/축전지 하이브리드 시스템의 운전제어 (Energy management strategies of a fuel cell/battery hybrid system using fuzzy logics)

  • Hybrid power systems with fuel cells and batteries have the potential to improve the operation efficiency and dynamic response. A proper load management strategy is important to better system efficiency and endurance in hybrid systems. In this paper, a fuzzy logic algorithm has been used to determine the fuel cell output power depending on the external required power and the battery state of charge(SoC). If the required power of the hybrid system is small and the SoC is small, then the greater part of the fuel cell power is used to charge the battery pack. If the required power is relatively big and the SoC is big, then fuel cell and battery are concurrently used to supply the required power. These IF-THEN operation rules are implemented by fuzzy logic for the energy management system of hybrid system. The strategy is evaluated by simulation. The results show that fuzzy logic can be effectively used to optimize the operational efficiency of hybrid system and to maintain the battery SoC properly.
