This paper presents a new hybrid control scheme using Active-Clamped Class-E(ACCE) inverter for the Induction Heating (IH) jar. The proposed hybrid control scheme has characteristics, which acts as class-E inverter at lower switch voltage and ACCE inverter at higher switch voltage than reference voltage of the main switch by feeding back voltage of the switch. The proposedv hybrid control scheme also has advantage of conventional ACCE inverter such as Zero-Voltage-Switch(ZVS) of the main switch and the reduced switch voltage due to clamping cricuit. Moreover, the proposed hybrid control method using ACCE inverter has higher output power than convenional control scheme since ACCE inverter operates like class-E inverter at low input voltage condition. The principles of the proposed control are explained in detail and the validity of the proposed control scheme is verifed through the several interesting simulated and experimental results.

In order to respond to changes in the industrial environment such as the 4th industrial revolution, university education also needs active educational innovation efforts. This study proposed a construction construction hybrid curriculum that can actively utilize online education in the direction of educational innovation in domestic universities. The hybrid curriculum was based on online learning through lecture videos used in team-based learning. The hybrid curriculum additionally allows learners to choose their learning methods. In a hybrid class, learners can choose the class participation method they want from offline classroom or online real-time. Hybrid classes are considered to strengthen learners' options and take a step forward in learner-centered education.
In this paper, a new control scheme of Class-E inverter for Induction Heating (IH) Jar applications with clamped voltage characteristics using Pulse-Frequency-Modulation (PFM) is introduced. To reduce the voltage stress of switch, the proposed PFM control scheme doesn't need any auxiliary circuit in comparison to a family of Active Clamped Class-E (ACCE) inverter. It can decrease voltage stress of switch through modulation of switching frequency. The Class-E inverter using the proposed control scheme has the advantage of not only the same output power when it is compared with a Hybrid-Active Clamped Class-E (Hybrid-ACCE) inverter but also Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS), which are characteristics of conventional Class-E and ACCE inverter. The control principles and analysis of proposed method are explained in detail and its validity is verified through simulation and experimental results.
We have developed 1 kW-class PEMFC-battery hybrid system independently powering to the building, through the process of system design, current load characteristics analysis, power system configuration for demonstration site and performance evaluation. In order to use the fuel cell and battery as the hybrid type, a control technology for the charging/discharging decision and charging speed of the battery is required rather than using fuel cell. Also output power distribution between PEMFC and the battery is a core of energy management technology. It is confirmed that it is possible to supply independently 1kW powering the building to ensure optimal energy management through the power control experiment of the hybrid system.

We have previously isolated OsMADS4 gene that is a member of the class B MADS box genes from rice. In this study, another member of the class B MADS box genes was isolated from rice flower by the yeast two-hybrid screening method using OsMADS4 as bait. RNA blot analyses revealed that the clone, OsMADS16, was expressed in the second and third whorls, whereas the OsMADS4 transcripts were present in the second, third, and fourth whorls. These expression patterns of the OsMADS16 and OsMADS4 genes are very similar with those of AP3 and PI, the class B genes of Arabidopsis, respectively. In the yeast two-hybrid system, OsMADS4 interacted only with OsMADS16 among several rice MADS genes investigated, suggesting that OsMADS4 and OsMADS16 function as a heterodimer in specifying sepal and petal identities. We have also isolated OsMADS6 gene using OsMADS1 as a probe. Both are members of the AGL2 MADS family. Various MADS genes that encode for protein-protein interaction partners of the OsMADS6 protein were isolated by the yeast two-hybrid screening method. A majority of these genes belong to the AGL2 family. Sequence Homology, expression pattern, and ectopic expression phenotypes indicated that one of the interaction partners, OsMADS14, appears to be homologous to API, the class A MADS gene of Arabidopsis.
This paper describes an on-going national R&D program for the development of a gas turbine/fuel cell hybrid power generation system and related R&D activities. The final goal of this program is to develop a 200kW-c1ass gas turbine/fuel cell hybrid power generation system and achieve high efficiency over $60\%$ (AC/LHV). In the first phase of the development, a sub-scaled 60kW-class hybrid system based on the 50kW-class microturbine and the 5kW SOFC will be developed for the purpose of concept proof of the hybrid system. Core components such as the microturbine and the SOFC system are being developed and parallel preparation for system integration is being carried out. Before the core components are assembled in the final system. operating characteristics of a hybrid system are investigated from a simulated system where a turbocharger (microturbine simulator) and a modified fuel cell burner test facility (fuel cell simulator) are employed. The 60kW demonstration unit will be built up and operated to provide the valuable information for the preparation of the final full scale 200kW hybrid system.
This study is to develop a 1kW-class small wind turbine blade which will be applicable to relatively low speed regions. For this blade, a high efficiency wind turbine blade is designed and a light and low cost composite structure blade is adopted considering fatigue life. In this study, shape design of 1kW-class small wind turbine blade for hybrid power generation system is carried out by BEMT(blade element momentum theory). X-FOIL open software was used to acquire lift and drag coefficients of the 2D airfoils used in power prediction procedure. Moreover, pressure and velocity distributions are investigated according to TSR by CFD analysis.
