The fermentation broth (FB) of Streptomyces griseofuscus 200401 isolated from non-farming soil showed antagonistic activity against powdery mildew fungus both in melon leaf/seedling assay and in field trials. The FB of S. griseofuscus 200401 was tested at different concentrations. In primary test, the control value of 2-fold diluted FB of S. griseofuscus 200401, compared to control, reached to 82.8%. The protective activity recorded 80.5% in 2-fold dilution of FB. The effect was reduced to 28.9% in high dilution (100-fold) treatment. The curative effect was relatively lower than protective activity. In field test, the antifungal activities of S. griseofuscus 200401 remained low in blocks sprayed with 100-fold diluted FB and the control values were 15.2 and 15.9% in 2005 and 2006, respectively. However, the activities were as high as 65% and 67.3% in the blocks treated with 2-fold dilution of FB during the same period.

This work examines the feasibility for estimating existing tensile stress on a stressed wire using the permeability of magnetic flux. A closed magnetic circuit has been constructed to induce magnetic flux inside a steel wire. With different tension stress levels on a wire, the permeability of magnetic flux on the wire has been measured. Two different experimental case studies have been conducted for the examination of sensitivity of permeability of magnetic flux on the stressed wire. One is a varying-length stress test, and the other is a fixed-length stress test. The results show that the permeability of magnetic flux in the varying-length stress test is inversely proportional to the applied stress, while the permeability in the fixed-length stress test is linearly proportional to the applied stress on the stressed wire. It is thus expected that the permeability of magnetic flux on a wire can be a promising indicator for the inspection of its tensile stress.

The incidence of liver cancer is markedly sex-differentiated epidemiologically, with a much higher frequency in men than in women. In experimental animals, male have higher incidence of liver tumors than female in carcinogen-induced tumors as well as spontaneous ones. Our studies were investigated to examine the modifying effects of sex hormones in the proneoplastic lesions of liver on diethylnitrosamine (DEN) - induced hepatocarcinogenesis. (omitted)

Recently, a new construction of transmission line has been through quite hard situation due to demands for a new construction of transmission line have been saturated in south korea and also difficulties of purchasing the routes. In addition, the demands for electricity have been decreased in all of advanced countries of the world due to slowdown of the rate of economic growth. So they are trying to find a way to utilize a existing transmission line by extending the durable period. Therefore this is necessary to apply an applicable technology on domestic markets such as inspection, examination, maintenance of existing transmission lines by introducing advanced countries's example which shall be based on Japan's electric power companies.

The purpose of this study is to construct the fundamental data for setting a valid viewpoint as the base of landscape planning and management practices. To do this, we analyzed the preceding dissertations and landscape plan reports which presented the selection criteria of viewpoint. 37 research samples containing the criteria of viewpoint were investigated. The selection criteria and trends of viewpoint were analyzed as follows : Firstly, by analyzing the preceding researches we were able to grasp the criteria that had been used to set viewpoint. Secondly, we investigated the differences in criteria of selecting the viewpoint according to the research type, research time and view object. Finally, we analyzed the trends of viewpoint selection criteria and classified the characteristics and selection criteria of viewpoint based on an overview of the research content. It can be concluded that the criteria of viewpoint are intimately linked to the view object, the purpose and role of viewpoint which is related to the landscape planning and management practices. According to this study, we can find that the selection criteria and trends of viewpoint have been used in the research related to the view plane following the 1990's. Hereafter, additional research and the comparisons with researches abroad is necessary to set the objective selection criteria of viewpoint.

Ceramics from Taean shipwreck were studied to investigate the deterioration by soluble salts and desalination pattern according to each ceramic characterization. NaCl crystals were found as a crystal growth on the ceramic microstructure and deteriorated to push off the glaze layer of some Puncheong ware sample. As a result of monitoring the desalination pattern of ceramics for 74days, the earthenware sample with big pores and no glaze removed soluble salts so fast, but Puncheong ware and Whiteware samples removed lots of soluble salts slowly and continuously. Generally, it takes long time to remove soluble salts from porcelains, due to small pores and glaze, but the long-term desalination probably can cause the damage on the surface layer such like glaze. As some soluble salts still remains in the ceramic microstructures after desalination, it is very important to control and keep the relative humidity stable through the proper storage. There are various ceramic deterioration patterns by soluble salts. Therefore, it needs to select the desalination method of ceramics from shipwreck, considering the material characteristics and the production techniques.

DRM에서 키 관리 기술은 중앙 집중 키 관리 방식, Enveloping 방식 등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 암호화 키를 콘텐츠에 함께 동봉하는 키 관리 방식을 기반으로 새로운 DRM 키 관리 기술을 제안한다. 제안하는 키 관리 기술은 사용자 인증에서 사용된 인증정보를 콘텐츠 암호화 키로 사용함으로 콘텐츠 암호화 키를 암호화하여 전송할 필요가 없는 장점이 있다.

A case of neosporosis is described in a 6-month-old aborted bovine fetus. Grossly, numerous, well-demarcated, 2-3mm, yellowish white foci were scattered in the heart and skeletal muscle. Histopathologic changes were confined to the brain, heart, and skeletal muscle. Multifocal areas of necrotizing encephalitis were observed in the cerebrum as well as cerebellum. Severe multifocal to coalescing nonsuppurative inflammation was observed in the myocardium and skeletal muscle. The tachyzoites of Neospora caninum were demonstrated in the brain, myocardium and skeletal muscle with immunohistochemical method using Neospora caninum-specific antibody. Based on the histopathology and immunohistochemistry, this case was diagnosed as neosporosis in aborted Korean cattle. This is believed to be the first reported case of bovine neosporosis in Korea.

In this study, we investigated the effect of Phellinus baumii (PB) on immediate-type allergic reaction and inflammatory cytokine secretion. PB inhibited compound 48/80-induced systemic reactions in mice. PB inhibited compound 48/80-induced plasma histamine release. In addition, PB also inhibited the immunoglobulin (Ig) E-mediated local allergic reaction. Furthermore, PB decreased the phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate plus calcium ionophore A23187-stimulated tumor necrosis $factor-\alpha$ and interleukin-6 secretion in human mast cells. These results indicate that PB may be beneficial in the treatment of immediate-type allergic reactions.
