$TiO_2$ Sol을 이용한 습도감지소자의 제작 및 특성 (Fabrication and Characteristics of Humidity Sensing Device using $TiO_2$ Sol)

  • Humidity sensors using $TiO_2$ thin films were fabricated on the multi-electrode device by Sol-Gel method and their wettability, surface potential decays and humidity sensing characteristics were investigated. Contact angle of thin films was $28^{\cic}\;at\; 400^{\circ}C$ and surface potential decayed rapidly at $400^{\circ}C$. The specimen showed best humidity sensing characteristics at $400^{\circ}C$. From the results, they were confirmed that humidity sensing characteristics of thin films have connection with contact angle and surface potential decays.

  • A humidity sensing device based on a new humidity sensing principle is designed and fabricated in this study. The silicon thermopile is consisted of 25 couples of p-type diffused layer/Al strips. The internal resistance and the Seebeck coefficient are 300kl and 537$\mu$V/K, respectively Fabricated sensors showed linear response characteristics proportional to relative humidity changes with a sensitivity of 9$\mu$V/%RH in the range from 20% to 90%.

  • $TiO_{2}-Co_{3}O_{4}$ humidity sensors were fabricated by conventional ceramic process and their humid sensing characteristics were investigated. The sample which was added 10wt% $Co_{3}O_{4}$ and heat-treated $1200^{\circ}C$ showed the highest sensitivity to humidity changes and improved a linearity. As $Co_{3}O_{4}$ content was increasing, the sensor consists a uniform pore distribution and grain in the surface. This was analyzed by SEM photographs.

  • CNT(carbon nanotube) humidity sensors with plasma treated electrodes exhibit a much faster response time and a higher sensitivity to humidity, compared to untreated CNT and porous Cr electrodes. These results may be partially due to their percolated pore structure being more accessible for water molecules and for expending the diffusion of moisture to the polyimide sensing film, and partially due to the oxygenated surface of CNT films. This paper shows a plasma process effect and selectivity characteristics of CNT film humidity sensor.

  • 집적형 습도센서를 위해 이중게이트 금속을 증착한 차동형 전계효과 트랜지스터를 제조하고 상대습도에 따른 드레인전류 드리프트특성을 조사하였다. 감지소자와 비감지소자의 전류차를 얻기 위해 두 트랜지스터의 종횡비는 250/50으로 같게 하였다. 제조된 습도감지 전계효과 트랜지스터의 표준화된 드레인전류는 상대습도가 30%에서 90%로 증가함에 따라 0.12에서 0.3으로 증가하였다.

  • We prepared polyimide film by electrophoretic deposition onto glass film as a sensing materials of humidity, and treated with plasma discharging as a function of discharging power to improve performance of the sensor. Then evaluated the characteristics of polyimide on humidity.

  • In this paper, $TiO_2-V_2O_5$ thin films are fabricated by Sol-Gel method and their humidity-sensing characteristics have been investigated. The microstructure of specimen is porous. The humidity-sensing characteristics of thin films are good according to increasing heat treatment temperature and decreasing measurement frequency.

  • 저항형 습도센서의 개발을 위하여 스크린 인쇄방법으로 glass epoxy(GE) 기재 위에 핑거의 수와 그 사이의 간격이 다른 여러 가지 바이트형의 금 전극을 제조하였다. 전극의 기본적인 구조는 핑거 수가 3, 4 및 5를 가지며 간격은 각각 310과 460 ${\mu}m$이다. 전극은 처음에 은 나노 페이스트로 전극 패턴을 인쇄하고 연속적으로 Cu, Ni 및 Au를 무전해 도금을 진행하여 제조하였다. 감습성 고분자 전해질은 [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl] dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride(MDBAC)과 methyl methacrylate(MMA)의 공중합체를 사용하였으며 스크린 인쇄 방법으로 Au 전극/GE 기재 위에 인쇄하였다. 이렇게 제조된 습도 센서의 20-95%RH 영역의 상대습도 대 로그 임피던스 그래프에서 좋은 직선성을 보여주었으며 히스테리시스는 1.5%RH 이하 및 75초의 응답 및 회복 속도를 보여주었다. 전극의 구조는 고분자 저항형 습도센서의 감습특성에 큰 영향을 미치며 전해질 고분자와 전극 사이의 활성화 에너지, 온도의존성, 감도, 직선성 및 히스테리시스와 같은 감습특성 등의 차이를 비교하였고 특히 이온의 이동에 관여하는 활성화 에너지 및 온도 의존성에 큰 영향을 미쳤다.

  • Thin-film humidity sensor which TiO2, ZrO2, or CeO2 was added to MgCr2O4-based materials, respectively, were fabricated on the alumina substrate by using a resistant-heating evaporator. Thin films were approximately 2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in grain size and shwoed porous microstructures. The resistance of the sensor decreased with increasing the relative humidity and the MgCr2O4-TiO2 sensor had the best humidity-sensing characteristics (linearity in relative humidity versus resistance).

  • Physical properties and impedance-humidity characteristics of carbon nitride films were investigated for micro-humidity-sensors. Carbon nitride films were deposited in low temperature and low power for application of semiconductor fabrication process, and empirical equation was proposed for thickness evaluation. Deposited films had an uniform and compact surface comparing with previously reported results, which was expected a good candidate for humidity sensing materials. Carbon nitride humidity sensors based on Si substrate revealed good humidity-impedance characteristics with a wide range of relative humidity and showed low hysteresis.
