수술실 간호사의 물품관리 업무역량과 업무만족도 연구 (The Competence and Satisfaction on Inventory Management of the Operating Room Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 700병상이상 병원의 3개 수술실 간호사를 대상으로 물품관리 업무역량(물품관리능력, 인식정도, 지식정도)과 업무 만족도를 파악한 후에, 3개 수술실 간에 결과의 차이가 있는지 여부와 물품관리 업무역량과 업무만족도의 상관성을 분석하고 관련된 영향요인을 파악하여 수술간호 업무역량과 업무만족도 향상을 위한 교육과 간호업무 개선활동의 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시되었다. 연구는 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자기기입식으로 시행되었고, 연구대상은 현재 6개월 이상 수술실에서 수술간호에 참여 중인 간호사로 하였고 연구 참여자는 181명이였다. 연구결과 물품관리능력의 평균평점은 4.2점(${\pm}0.56$), 인식정도 3.4점(${\pm}0.76$), 지식정도는 3.5점(${\pm}0.40$)이고 업무 만족도는 3.4점(${\pm}0.55$)이었다. 3개 수술실 간호사 그룹 간의 물품간호 업무역량과 업무만족도의 결과에 차이는 없었고, 물품관리능력과 지식정도는(r=.627, p<0.01)이고, 지식정도와 인식정도는(r=.663, p<0.01)이며, 인식정도와 만족도는 (r=.485, p<0.01)로 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 수술실 간호사의 일반적 특성이 물품관리 업무역량과 업무만족도에 미치는 관련요인으로는 연령이 물품관리 업무역량에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인이고, 그 외의 항목은 유의하지 않았다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 기반으로 병원 간호사들의 지속적인 인력관리와 교육, 병원간의 의사소통 채널의 효율적인 관리를 위한 자료로 활용하여 수술실 간호사 역량과 만족도의 유지 및 향상에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

균형성과표(BSC)개념을 적응한 학교급식 운영성과 측정지표 개발 (Development of Performance Indicators Based on Balanced Score Card for School Food Service Facilities)

  • This study raised the necessity of developing performance indicators for measuring the management efficiency and effectiveness of school food service, and as a means of helping its implementation, a balanced score card (BSC) approach developed by Norton and Kaplan was adopted. This study established BSC in seven phases through literature: Phase 1 Defining a school food service and the scope of working activities, Phase 2 Establishing the vision of a school food service, Phase 3 Setting strategic goals, Phase 4 Identifying critical success factors (CSFs), Phase 5 Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Phase 6 Extracting cause and effect relationship, and Phase 7 Completing a preliminary BSC. The preliminary BSC was fumed into a survey, which was administered to food service related people working at the Office of Education and School Food Service including 16 offices,209 dietitians, 48 school administrators both from self-operated and contract-managed, and 9 experts in areas related to school food service. They were asked questions about strategies from 4 different perspectives,12 CSFs, 39 KPls, and the cause and effect relationships among them. As a result, among the CSFs based on 4 different perspectives, all factors other than ' zero sum on profit/loss ' from the financial perspective turned out to be valid. In terms of KPIs, manufacturing cost percentages, casualty loss count/reduction rates, school foodervice participation rates, and sales goal achievement rates were found to be valid from the financial perspective, while student satisfaction index, faculty satisfaction index, leftover ratio, nutrition educational performance count, index of evaluating nutrition education, customer claim count/reduction rate, handling customer claim count/reduction rate, and parent satisfaction index were found to be valid from the customers' perspective. Besides, nutritional requirement sufficient ratio, nutritional management score, food poisoning outbreak count, employee safety accident count, sanitary inspection assessment index, meals per labor hour (productivity index), computerization ratio, operational management index, and purchase management assessment index were also found to be valid from the perspective of internal business processes. From the perspective of innovation and learning, employee turnover ratio/rate of absenteeism, annual education and training count, employee satisfaction index, human resource management assessment index, annual menu-related customer feedback, food service information index for employees and parents/schools were also found to be valid. The significance of this study is to present indices for measuring overall performance of school lunch food service operations without putting any limitation on types of school food service management, and to help correctly assess the contribution of the current types of school food service management to schools and students. 보건소의 자원봉사자 요구도 및 활용도에 대한 관련요인 분석 (A Study on the Demand and Utilization of Volunteers in Health Centers)

  • Volunteers activities in Health Centers are strategically important for the efficient utilization of human resource and local people's health promotion in community. With these backgrounds. this study is conducted to examine significant factors in relation to demand and utilization of volunteers in Health Centers. and the factors are the characteristics of Health Centers. volunteer management factors and external environment factors. Subjects in this study were 245 Health Centers all chosen. Data were collected from April. 12. 1999 to May. 31. 1999. and the data for analyses were ones of 116 respondents. Then. the data coded and submitted to Fisher's exact test. NPAR1WAY ANOVA, Correlation analysis. multiple regression analysis, multiple logistic regression analysis with SAS program. The key results from this study can be epitomized as follows: 1. 43.1% of responding health centers answered that they 'utilize volunteers'. The average number of volunteers who were engaged in responding health centers was 43, out of which 7 were men and 36 were women. As for the adequacy of the number of the volunteers. 55.1% responded 'not enough' and 30.6% responded 'adequate'. The more the number of volunteers needed. the more the number of utilizing volunteers is. When asked about their views concerning the utilization of volunteers in Health Centers. 88.7% of all respondents answered in the affirmative. The accountable factor for the utilization of volunteers was the present utilization of volunteers. 2. Concerning the reasons for using volunteers. 'to induce local people's participation in health services' was the highest comprising 76% of the responding health centers. 3. Most of volunteers were housewives and independent enterprisers. The most type of volunteer activities was 'just simple labor'. 4. As for the action duration of volunteers. 69.4% answered 'under 6 months'. The factor was significant difference with the action duration of volunteers was 'to provide social meeting' in the middle of rewards for volunteers. 5. Asked about the problem in utilizing volunteers. 53.2% answered 'the difficulty of recruitment and education for volunteers'. and 42.6% answered 'lack of budget and manpower needed for the utilization of volunteers.' 6. Concerning the evaluation of the performance by volunteers. 88% answered 'satisfactory'. With regards to the reason for that. 29.3% answered 'volunteers can provide various kinds of services' 7. 88.7% of responding health centers answered that they will continuously or newly utilize volunteers in the future. 8. The main health program services which expect utilization of volunteers were visiting health services(63.2%). old people's health services (25.3%). These were not significant difference with any explanatory variable. 9. The average number of volunteer needed in responding health centers was 38. The more the average number of utilizing volunteers. the more the number of volunteers needed is. The more the degree of financial independence. the more the number of volunteers needed is. In conclusions. Health centers are necessary to promote their role of recruitment. education and training for volunteers. the development of volunteer activities programs.

원자력 기술혁신에 대한 고찰: 4세대 원자력 에너지기술 전환 이슈를 중심으로 (Understanding the Nuclear Technological Innovation: Focussing on the Transition Issue of 4th Generation Nuclear Energy Technology)

  • 본 연구는 원자력기술의 혁신특성을 심층조사 함으로써 4세대 원자력에너지기술의 전환 시 발생 가능한 이슈를 이해하고 한국의 정책현황을 분석하여 4세대 원자력에너지기술의 성공적 안착을 위한 시사점을 도출하였다. 이는 현재 세계 5강의 원자력에너지기술 강국인 한국에서 4세대 원자력에너지기술의 도래에도 지속가능한 경쟁력을 유지하기 위한 중요한 정책적인 시사점으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 정성적 문헌연구방법을 통해 원자력기술혁신에 관한 문헌들을 조사한 결과, 4세대 원자력 에너지기술의 전환에 영향을 미치는 요인은 크게 4가지로 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 장기간의 안정적인 자원 할당, 혁신을 위한 이해당사자 간의 지속적인 상호작용, 완전한 시스템을 위한 기술과 노하우의 축적, 적용 및 실증을 위한 정책적인 시장이었다. 이를 한국의 4세대 원자력에너지기술과 연관한 정책을 대상으로 적용하여 사례분석을 한 결과, 현재 4세대 기술이 기술개발의 초기단계에서 실증단계로 넘어가는 시점임을 감안하더라도 연관한 정책은 실증과 운영을 위한 전문인력의 체계적인 양성 방안, 사회적 수용성과 저항에 대한 대응, 실증에 대한 구체적인 계획 수립, 4세대 원자력시스템을 적용하기 위한 정책적인 시장을 제안하는 장기적인 노력, 이해당사자들 간의 구체적이고 지속적인 상호작용을 적극 장려하는 것이 체계적으로 필요함을 제시하였다.

OJT 특성요인과 OJT 성과 간 관계에서 훈련자-피훈련자 관계강도 조절효과 분석: 국내 여행서비스업 초기 경력자를 대상으로 (OJT Characteristics and OJT Outcomes in a Domestic Travel Industry: Moderating Effect of Tie Strength)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to substantiate the relationship between on-the-job training (OJT) characteristic factors and OJT outcomes and the moderating effect of the tie strength between a trainer and a trainee on the relationship. OJT characteristic factors were composed of a unit of work to be learned, trainee's motivation, trainer's ability, OJT design, and OJT support. OJT outcomes included job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the research. The tie strength means a sense of intimacy with a trainer. All of the OJT characteristic factors, OJT outcomes, and the tie strength were defined operationally as the perceived ones by a trainee. Research design, data, and methodology - This study analyzed the data of 302 employees in a domestic travel agency as early career for seven years or less. The main methods for the analysis were multiple linear regression analysis and moderating effect analysis. The whole process of the data analysis was conducted using the SPSS 21.0 for windows. Results - The results of the study are as follows: First, every five element of OJT, including unit of work to be learned, trainee's motivation, trainer's ability, OJT design, and OJT support, showed positive influence on OJT outcomes - job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Second, the tie strength between a trainer and a trainee was positively related with OJT outcomes. Finally, the strength of ties between the trainer and the trainee was found positively to moderate the relationship of a unit of work to be learned, OJT design, or OJT support, with OJT outcomes. However, the moderating effect of the tie strength was not significant statistically between the trainee's motivation or the trainer's ability, and OJT outcomes. Conclusion - In the study, it was demonstrated that every OJT characteristic factors have a positive contribution to job satisfaction and organizational commitment for early career employees. In addition, the study showed the need to pay attention to improve the quality of relationships between trainers and trainees, in order to increase the impact of a unit of work to be learned, OJT design, and OJT support. These findings suggest the implications in the three factors as external factors that constitute OJT. The three factors are made by HRD practitioners who are involved in design and operation of the program as well as their interventions to improve the quality of the relationship between trainers and trainees. On the other hand, it was demonstrated in the research that trainee's motivation and trainer's ability, regardless of their tie strength, have a direct impact on OJT outcomes by itself. Moreover, the trainee's motivation and trainer's ability are intrinsic characteristics, rather than external factors that constitute OJT. Therefore, they are unlikely to be changed by HRD practitioners' interventions. In conclusion, it was argued in the research that the trainee's motivation and trainer's ability should be a consideration in selecting and matching partners in OJT participants before starting OJT.

Part-of-speech Tagging for Hindi Corpus in Poor Resource Scenario

  • Natural language processing (NLP) is an emerging research area in which we study how machines can be used to perceive and alter the text written in natural languages. We can perform different tasks on natural languages by analyzing them through various annotational tasks like parsing, chunking, part-of-speech tagging and lexical analysis etc. These annotational tasks depend on morphological structure of a particular natural language. The focus of this work is part-of-speech tagging (POS tagging) on Hindi language. Part-of-speech tagging also known as grammatical tagging is a process of assigning different grammatical categories to each word of a given text. These grammatical categories can be noun, verb, time, date, number etc. Hindi is the most widely used and official language of India. It is also among the top five most spoken languages of the world. For English and other languages, a diverse range of POS taggers are available, but these POS taggers can not be applied on the Hindi language as Hindi is one of the most morphologically rich language. Furthermore there is a significant difference between the morphological structures of these languages. Thus in this work, a POS tagger system is presented for the Hindi language. For Hindi POS tagging a hybrid approach is presented in this paper which combines "Probability-based and Rule-based" approaches. For known word tagging a Unigram model of probability class is used, whereas for tagging unknown words various lexical and contextual features are used. Various finite state machine automata are constructed for demonstrating different rules and then regular expressions are used to implement these rules. A tagset is also prepared for this task, which contains 29 standard part-of-speech tags. The tagset also includes two unique tags, i.e., date tag and time tag. These date and time tags support all possible formats. Regular expressions are used to implement all pattern based tags like time, date, number and special symbols. The aim of the presented approach is to increase the correctness of an automatic Hindi POS tagging while bounding the requirement of a large human-made corpus. This hybrid approach uses a probability-based model to increase automatic tagging and a rule-based model to bound the requirement of an already trained corpus. This approach is based on very small labeled training set (around 9,000 words) and yields 96.54% of best precision and 95.08% of average precision. The approach also yields best accuracy of 91.39% and an average accuracy of 88.15%.

프랜차이즈 산업의 발전방안 (A study on the developmental ideas of Franchising industry in Korea)

  • 오늘날 국내 외의 경제발전에 서비스산업의 비중이 매우 커지고 있으며, 미래사회에도 지속적으로 증가될 것으로 예측되며, 이러한 서비스 산업의 경영방식의 하나로 프랜차이즈시스템이 확산되고 있다. 프랜차이즈 시스템(Franchise System)은 선진국에서 인기를 끌고 있는 선진국형 유통형태이며, 유통시장 개방 이후 국내에서는 외국유명브랜드를 중심으로 급속한 성장세를 보이고 있다. 이로 인해 국내 제조 및 유통업계에서는 미래유망업종으로 프랜차이즈시스템에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 최근 들어 외환위기와 금융위기를 계기로 다양한 연령계층이 노동시장으로 유입되면서 단기간 내에 적은 자본으로 나의 사업을 창업하고자 하는 인구가 크게 늘고 있다. 이 중 상당수는 독립적 사업을 창업하지만 사업에 대한 경험과 전문지식이 부족하면서 실패를 경험하는 경우가 크게 늘고 있다. 이에 비해 프랜차이즈 창업은 검증된 상품 및 서비스를 제공받으면서 창업한다는 점에서 성공가능성이 높아지면서 프랜차이즈에 대한 관심과 논의가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 프랜차이즈에 대한 관심이 증대하고, 프랜차이즈 산업의 규모가 커지면서 다양한 문제점 또한 부상하고 있다. 국내의 경우 비교적 늦게 프랜차이즈 산업이 도입되었지만 빠르게 성장하면서 문제점을 노정하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 프랜차이즈 산업의 특성에 대하여 고찰하고, 또한 다른 나라들의 경우에 대한 사례를 고찰하면서 국내 프랜차이즈 산업의 문제점을 조명하고 이에 대한 대응방안 및 프랜차이즈 산업의 발전방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

평생직업능력개발 경로 재설계의 가능성과 한계 (Possibility and Limit of a Redesign of a Path for Lifelong Vocational Competency Development)

  • 현대 사회가 추구하는 이념은 평생학습을 통한 평생고용이다. 이를 가능케 하는 한마디가 평생직업능력개발이다. 이 연구는 평생직업능력개발체제를 진단하여 평생직업능력개발 경로 재설계의 가능성과 한계를 탐색하고, 효율적인 직업교육경로의 재설계 방안을 제시하려는 시도이다. 이를 위해 국가인적자원개발기본계획, 평생직업능력개발기본계획, 평생학습진흥계획을 대상으로 하여 과제별 분석을 하였다. 또한 정책의 토대가 되는 주요 법령의 구조와 내용에 대한 분석도 이루어졌다. 평생직업능력개발을 위한 교육경로를 크게 학제 내 영역, 근로자 일터 영역, 평생직업훈련기관 영역으로 나누고 교육경로상의 주요 기관 운영현황과 순환과정을 분석하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 이러한 분석 결과에 기초하여 평생직업능력개발체제의 확성화를 위한 직업교육경로 재설계 방안이 다음과 같이 도출되었다. 첫째, 평생직업능력개발을 위한 경로 체제를 산업체가 요구하는 기술과 수요에 연계되는 효율적인 인력양성을 하는 방향으로 재구조화하여야 한다. 둘째, 평생직업능력개발을 위한 일과 학습간의 순환, 병행이 이루어질 수 있는 순환 모델을 정형화하여야 한다. 셋째, 평생직업능력개발을 위한 지역중심의 클러스터를 형성하여 분업 및 연계 협력관계를 갖도록 하는 효율적인 네트워크를 구성하여야 한다.

Use of Fast Transfer Analysis Cartridges for Cervical Sampling and Real Time PCR Based High Risk HPV Testing in Cervical Cancer Prevention - a Feasibility Study from South India

  • Background: Molecular testing for human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most objective and reproducible of all cervical cancer screening tests and also less demanding in terms of training and quality assurance. However, there is an impending need for cost effective molecular HPV testing methods with sampling ease, easy storage measures and minimum turn around times suitable for a low resource setting. Objective : Our aim was to evaluate the feasibility of using a fast transfer analysis (FTA) mini elute cartridge for cervical sampling to identify high risk HPV by real time PCR and to compare molecular HPV testing and Pap cytology testing to predict histologically confirmed cervical precancer (CIN 2+ lesions) in a cervical cancer prevention program. Materials and Methods: This was conducted as a pilot study (n=200) on women sampled using FTA mini elute cartridges, genotyped by two different real time PCR assays, detecting 13 high risk HPV (HR HPV) species, including HPV16 along with its physical DNA status. Results obtained from each of the tests were compared and analysed using suitable statistical tests. Results: With FTA mini elute cartridge samples HR HPV positivity was seen in 48/200 (24%). Of these, presence of HPV 16 DNA was observed in 28/48 (58.3%) women. High risk HPV was positive in 20% (37/185) of women with benign cytology and 73.3% (11/15) of women with abnormal cytology findings. A very significant correlation (${\chi}^2=22.090$ ; p=0.000) was observed between cytology and HR HPV findings showing an increasing trend of HR HPV prevalence in 50% (1/2) of LSIL, 75% (3/4) of HSIL and 100% (3/3) of SCC. Of the CIN 2+ lesions identified by histopathology, 88.9% (8/9) had HR HPV. A significant association (${\chi}^2=11.223$ ; p=0.001) of HR HPV and histopathologically confirmed CIN 2+ lesions was found. Sensitivity of the two tests were comparable but specificity of Pap testing was better (90.7% vs 70.4%) to predict histopathologically diagnosed cervical precancers. Conclusions: The current study explored the feasibility of using a FTA mini elute cartridge for cervical sampling for the first time in India as a part of a community based cervical cancer prevention program. We suggest that FTA based sampling is suitable and feasible for real time based HPV testing. Molecular HR HPV testing can be more sensitive and useful to identify high risk women requiring Pap testing which is more specific to detect histologically confirmed cervical precancer.

가족기업의 승계프로세스 특성이 조직성과에 미치는 영향: 전략적 인적자원관리의 조절효과 (Effects of the Characteristics of the Succession Process on Organizational Performance of Family Business Firms: Moderating Effects of Strategic Human Resource Management)

  • 본 연구는 가족기업의 중요 이해관계자 중 하나인 종업원의 관점에서 승계프로세스 특성이 조직성과에 미치는 영향과 이 관계에서 전략적 인적자원관리 관행의 조절효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 승계가 진행 중이거나 완료된 중소가족기업의 후계자와 인사담당자를 대상으로 설문조사 실시하였고, 총 124부를 실증분석에 활용하여 다음과 같은 분석결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 승계프로세스 특성 중 후계자의 승계준비 수준은 조직성과에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 승계 후 승계자의 역할 정의, 승계 이해관계자 참여수준, 승계자의 퇴임수용 의지는 조직성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 둘째, 전략적 인적자원관리 관행들 중에서 채용관리가 잘 이루어질수록 이해관계자 참여수준, 승계자의 퇴임수용 의지가 조직성과에 미치는 영향이 더 커지는 것으로 나타났다. 결국 가족기업의 성공적인 승계를 위해서는 다양한 승계프로세스 특성 중 무엇보다 후계자의 승계를 위한 체계적인 준비프로그램이 필요하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 다양한 전략적 인적자원관리 관행 요인 중 우수한 인재를 확보 유지할 수 있는 채용관리와 후계자의 승계가 함께 작용하여 조직의 성공을 이끌 수 있다는 점을 시사해주고 있다.
