신생아집중치료실 간호사의 상대적 간호업무효율성 분석 (Analysis of Relative Job Performance Efficiency of Nurses in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the job performance efficiency of nurses in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) by using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Additionally, the study aimed to provide a detailed method to improve the currently inefficient way in which nurses perform their jobs by differentiating the reference group of more efficient nurses, and to compare the characteristics of the more efficient group of nurses to those of the less efficient group of nurses. Methodology: This study evaluated the relative job performance efficiency of nurses by applying DEA to 43 nurses in the NICU. The input variables for the efficiency analysis were working career (years), time spent in direct nursing care (hours), overtime (hours), and job-related training (hours); the output variables were the job performance scores of professional practice, research, leadership, and education. Data were analyzed using SPSS IBM 23.0 and Open Source DEA (OSDEA). Findings: The relative job performance efficiency of the 43 nurses was 0.933, and 20 nurses were evaluated as more efficient. In addition, the study confirmed the possibility of improving the overall job performance efficiency by improving leadership, while controlling the current input variables. Lastly, the more efficient nurses had significantly higher job performance scores for research (t=2.028, p=0.049), leadership (t=2.036, p=0.048), and education (t=2995, p=0.005) than those who were less efficient. Practical Implications: It is suggested that job performance be evaluated using DEA to improve the overall job performance efficiency of NICU nurses. The analysis results from DEA for nurses becomes evidence in support of establishing individualized goals for each nurse, thus resulting in a foundation for systematic human resource management of nurses, and ultimately contributing to increase in the job performance efficiency of nurses.

  • 이 연구는 의료기관의 종합적 품질경영(TQM)이 내부고객만족에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 내부고객인 직원들의 만족도를 높여 고객에 대한 서비스의 질을 향상할 수 있는 방법을 알아보고자 시행하였다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시, 대구광역시, 울산광역시, 경상남도의 5개 대학병원 종사자 500명을 대상으로 2015년 2월 2일부터 4월 30일까지 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 476부를 최종연구에 활용하였다. 조사결과로는 첫째, 경영층의 리더십은 품질경영활동 중 교육훈련과 직원참여에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으나, 인적자원관리와 업무의 질에는 영향이 없었다. 둘째, 병원조직문화는 품질경영활동의 모든 변수에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 품질경영활동, 경영층의 리더십, 병원조직문화는 내부고객만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 내부고객인 직원들의 만족도가 높아야 외부고객인 환자들에 대한 의료 서비스 질이 높아질 수 있고, 이것이 병원의 경쟁력으로 작용하여 경영수익의 향상을 기대할 수 있다.

소형선박조종사 면허시험 전형제도에 관한 연구 (Study on Screening Examination of Small Boat Operator's Certificate of Competency)

  • Small boat operator's certificate of competency took up 39.0% of total license holders and required for at least 19,000 boats in 2013, was proposed the improvement items by reviewing the acts and criteria related to the current test and analyzed the questions of set at examinations. About 31% of questions of the current written test are unsuitable for the target boat and operational knowledge of the operator. It is appropriate that the subject categorization criteria and contents of the subjects will be improved to include practical details related to safe ship operation, and the number of questions increased according to each subject category in amended examination after January 1st, 2017. The interview test should be improved so that the questions can be forwarded in a clear manner through formulation of practical problems, photos, etc. considering the real situations such as high age/low education status of testee and it is necessary to lengthen the interview time per testee. The test and interview personnel should consist of a human resource pool with experience in small boat operator training and workers of related areas familiar with field terminology. Furthermore, the test should be divided into small boats of 2 to 5 tons and those exceeding 5 tons according to the tonnage of small boats.

최종사용자 컴퓨팅의 실태와 최종사용자 개인적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the current status of EUC and individual characteristics of end-users in Korean firms)

  • This study has two research objectives related to end-user computing (EUC). One of the research objectives was to investigate the current status of EUC of Korean firms. Another research objective was to examine the relationship between individual differences of end-users and EUC success. Using survey data from 752 end-users of 23 firms, the current status of EUC and the relationship between individual differences of end-users and EUC success were investigated. The current status of EUC was examined from six perspectives : 1) what is the characteristics of EUC strategy of Korean firms, 2) what are the individual characteristics of end-users in Korean firms 3) what are the characteristics of tasks performed by end-users computer, 4) what are the application areas of EUC, 5) How end-users are satisfied with the support of firm, 6) what are system usage and satisfaction of end-users. It was also found that individual differences of end-users are related to EUC success. More specifically, it was shown that the male gender, younger age, higher level of education, higher rank and organizational tenure, higher math ability, thinking type of cognitive style, positive and optimistic attitudes toward computer, more experience with computer, more computer education and knowledge are individual differences variables associated with EUC success. The results of stepwise regression analysis suggested that the individual difference variables accounted for 14%, 25%, 39%, and 30% of the variances of four EUC success variables, satisfaction for outcome, satisfaction for ability, frequency of computer use, and the number of tasks, respectively. Theses empirical findings suggest that EUC managers should consider individual differences of end-users in managing EUC, such as education, training support, and human resource management, to maximize potential benefits of EUC.

외식엽체에서 제공하는 서비스 품질에 대한 고객과 서비스 제공자의 인식의 차이점 분석 (Examination of the Gap between Customer's Perception and Foodservice Provider's Perception of Service Quality in Restaurants)

  • A significant gap can exist between what customers expect in foodservice and what service providers deliver to customers. Reducing the gap and enhancing service quality plays a key role in increasing customer satisfaction and repurchase intentions. The purpose of this study was to investigate the personal and operational characteristics that affect the customer perceptions of service quality, to analyze the overall satisfaction and repurchase intention of customers, and to study the service quality gap between customer and foodservice provides. 427 customers and 278 foodservice providers in 82 fast food and family restaurants were surveyed. T-test, ANOVA, Correlation Analysis, and Multiple Regression were used for statistical analysis, The results of this study were as follows: 1) Among the personal characteristics of customers, sex affected the preception of 'General Management' and 'Reputation', and the expense per person showed a correlation with service quality. 2) Among the operational characteristics, the type of restaurant, months since opening, and the number of seats had a significant impact on service quality, while the seat turnover rate showed a negative correlation with service quality. 3) Among the human resource characteristics, the proportion of part-time employees had a negative correlation with service quality, and in general, the training program for full-time employees led to a higher degree of customer perception of service quality. 4) Six dimensions of service quality accounted for 38.39% of customer satisfaction in Multiple Regression. 5) The overall satisfaction of customers willing to repurchase was significantly higher than that of the non-repurchase customers. 6) The operational characteristics explained over 35% for the service quality gap among the customers and the service providers in Multiple Regression.

  • Advanced Life Support Systems (ALSS) are being studied to support human life during long-duration space missions. ALSS can be categorized into four subsystems: Crew, Biomass Production, Food Processing and Nutrition, Waste Processing and Resource Recovery. The System Studies and Modeling (SSM) team of New Jersey-NASA Specialized Center of Research and Training (NJ-NSCORT) has facilitated and conducted analyses of ALSS to address systems level issues. The underlying concept of the SSM work is to enable the effective utilization of information to aid in planning, analysis, design, management, and operation of ALSS and their components. Analytical tools and computer models for ALSS analyses have been developed and implemented for value-added information processing. The results of analyses have been delivered through the Internet for effective communication within the advanced life support (ALS) community. Several modeling paradigms have been explored by developing tools for use in systems analysis. They include object-oriented approach for top-level models, procedural approach for process-level models, and application of commercially available modeling tools such as MATLAB$\^$(R)//Simulink$\^$(R)/. Every paradigm has its particular applicability for the purpose of modeling work. An overview is presented of the systems studies and modeling work conducted by the NJ-NSCORT SSM team in its efforts to provide systems analysis capabilities to the ALS community. The experience gained and the analytical tools developed from this work can be extended to solving problems encountered in general agriculture.

민간부문 정보보호 교육과정의 정량적 인증방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quantitative Method of Certificate for Information Security Education Course in the Private Sector)

  • 최근 ICT 융합산업의 확산은 새로운 비즈니스 창출 등 많은 장점을 불러왔지만, 보안위험이 융복합적으로 발생하는 등 새로운 위협을 발생하고 있다. 한편, 이에 대한 대책 중 하나로 인력 중심의 보안관리가 제시되면서 현재 산업별 보안인력의 수요는 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 하지만 보안인력 양성을 위한 교육 및 훈련에 대한 품질에 대해서는 연구가 미흡하다. 본 논문에서는 민간시장 정보보호 교육과정 현황을 조사하고, 정보보호 직무분류 등을 활용한 4개 전문분야 15개 표준 교육과정을 도출하였다. 또한 효율적인 민간분야 정보보호 교육인증을 위한 평가지표를 제시하고, 지표별 가중치에 따른 점수를 산정하였다.

정보보안전공 대학생을 위한 보안 윤리의식 분석 및 교육 방안 (Situation Analysis and Education Plan of Security Ethics for Training College Students Majoring in Information Security)

  • 최근 정보보안을 전공하는 대학생과 보안 업무를 담당하는 내부자가 사이버범죄의 유혹에 넘어가 범죄에 가담하는 사건이 잇따라 발생함에 따라 컴퓨터 및 보안전문가들의 직업윤리의식 부재가 심각하다는 지적이 나오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 정보보안을 전공하는 대학생들을 대상으로 보안윤리에 대한 인식과 교육 실태를 조사하여 분석하고, 인성과 자질을 갖춘 인재양성을 위한 보안윤리 교육 방안을 고찰하였다. 정보화 사회 기반이 확대될수록 직업윤리가 더욱 중요해지고 있는 시점에서 정보보안을 전공하는 대학생들의 보안윤리에 대한 인식과 교육, 그리고 정보보안 전문가의 일탈행위에 대한 인식 등 윤리성과 직업의식이 미흡한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 제안한 정보보안 전공 대학생들의 보안윤리를 제고하는 교육 방안을 통해 소명의식을 갖춘 보안전문가의 양성이 가능할 것으로 기대된다. 논문에서 제안한 보안윤리 교육체계에 따라 교육을 받은 그룹에서 보안윤리 의식이 현저하게 개선된 것으로 분석되었다.

만화애니메이션 교육 강사의 전문직종화를 위한 지원모델 연구 - 만화애니메이션 강사 지원 사업을 중심으로 - (Policy Model for the Development of the Arts Educator in the field of the Comic & Animation Education)

  • 이 연구는 문화관광부에서 2005년부터 예술 강사 지원 사업으로 실시하고 있는 만화애니메이션 강사 지원사업의 성과를 분석하고, 만화애니메이션 강사를 전문 직종으로 발전시키기 위한 정책지원 모델을 개발하는데 초점을 두었다. 이를 위하여 만화애니메이션 강사지원에 참여하는 강사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 분석하였으며, 강사지원사업 관계자들을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 조사내용은 정부지원 사업이 만화애니메이션강사에 미친 영향, 강사 지원 사업 관련 사항에 대한 평가, 그리고 전문 직종 및 재교육 방향에 관한 것이다. 분석결과, 강사들의 참여의지, 직무교육수요, 역량개발수요, 미래 전문 직종 인식 등은 높게 나타났지만, 근무환경과 고용의 안정성에 대한 만족도는 낮게 나타났다. 이 연구에서는 정책지원 방안으로 만화애니메이션교육 프로그램 개발 및 이론적 기반강화, 만화 애니메이션 문화예술교육 전문 인력 양성 체계 구축 및 직무연수교육의 다양화, 만화애니메이션교육 종합지식정보시스템구축, 지역문화예술교육지원센터와의 연계를 통한 지원 사업 거버넌스 구축방안 등을 제시하였다.
