  • The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between financial management behavior and subjective level of consumption of rural households. In this study, financial management behavior was defined to include 'budgeting' and 'expenditure management'. Data were collected from the 215 rural households in 13 different provinces of Chungnam, and 203 households were used for the analysis. Frequency distribution, means, and path analysis were employed for the statistical analysis. Major findings were as follows. Budgeting behavior had a significant positive effect on rural households' subjective level of consumption, while expenditure management behavior didn't have any significant effect. This implies that active and systematic financial management behavior such as budgeting is more effective than relatively passive financial management behavior like expenditure management on the enhancement of economic well-being of rural households. Age, education, and number of non-farm earners had indirect effects on the subjective level of consumption through budgeting behavior. Income stability had a direct effect and income had both direct and indirect effects on the subjective level of consumption.

  • The study on semiconductor industrial accident in korea has been focused on frequencies of each type, employee, characteristics, cause and un-safety condition, behaviour and so on. Those attributes of semiconductor industrial accidents were usually analyzed independently, so that it was hard to provides a well-process and systematic guide lines for efficient safety management. There fore, there were a few studies based on comprehensive survey in terms of sharp-type of safe management. The questionnaire survey carried out for the workers(284) who were responsible for safety management in to center with corporate company with semiconductor industry the factor analysis showed that there were three factor of safety management. They were 1) Investment and operation and management for accident prevention, 2) Unsafe, safety management 3) General human error and behavior the industries of respondents were correlative with three group. Three Groups showed a statistically significant differences on the number of cases. Actually, the group with the larger investment and the better unsafe cause, human error a of accident prevention had a smaller cause of accident cases.

  • The main control room (MCR) in advanced nuclear power plants (NPPs) has changed from analog to digital control system (DCS). Operation and control have become more automated, centralized, and accurate due to the digitalization of NPPs, which has improved the efficiency and security of the system. New issues associated with human reliability inevitably arise due to the adoption of new accident procedures and digitalization of main control rooms in NPPs. The LingAo II NPP is the first digital NPP in China to apply the state-oriented procedure. In order to address issues related to human reliability analysis for DCS and DCS + state-oriented procedure, the Hunan Institute of Technology conducted a research project based on a cooperative agreement with the LingDong Nuclear Power Co. Ltd. This paper is a brief introduction to the project.

  • Human resources play a key role in developing and enhancing the manner in which an organization change. In fact, the role of human resource-related quality management has contributed greatly to the growth of the organization in both the short and long term. The purpose of the current study is to identify factors that influence human resource retention in Hanoi in the backdrop of growing economic performance of Hanoi in Vietnam's economy. Primary data was collected through questionnaires of 280 respondents from the four districts in Hanoi, including 25.2% of respondents working in Cau Giay district, 21.2% in Dong Da district, 34.2% in Ha Dong district, and 19.4% in Thanh Xuan district. After applying Cronbach's Alpha and Explore Factor Analysis (EFA) analysis, Durbin-Watson test, empirical results demonstrate that relationship among co-workers has a significant and positive contribution on the maintenance of human resources in the organization. Additionally, higher welfare facilities for an employee are more likely to impact the maintenance of human resources in the organization. Factors such as working environment, job placement, and leadership relationship have no adverse effect on the maintenance of human resources, although a positive impact could be established in all cases.

  • This study aims to analyze the relationship of e-HRM implementation to employee performance both directly and indirectly through the intervening of the Human Resource service Quality variable, both practically and theoretically. This study uses variance-based structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques with partial least square (PLS) statistical testing tools to test the direct relationship of e-HRM and the performance and relationship moderated by Human Resources service quality tested on 200 civil servants in five offices under the coordination of the Government of the South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. The data collection model in this study uses an online survey. The data analysis stages through the explanatory concept consist of, first, the interpretation of the distribution of the average frequency of respondents' answers; second, outer-loading; third, determination of the validity and reliability; fourth, the coefficient of determination test and partial test; fifth, the GoF model; sixth, validity test; and seventh, hypothesis testing. This study explores four hypotheses in a comprehensive fashion; the results of this study show that all hypotheses have positive and significant effects both through direct and intervening relationships. Among the three direct relationships, the relationship of e-HRM variables on HR Service Quality is greatest and most dominant.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the role of the physical environment in task interruptions in the healthcare settings. Many dangerous events such as airplane crash and medical errors are the result of human errors and, these errors are often the result of interruptions during a critical task of professional workers. In fact, the physical environment that determines accessibility and visibility among people affects interruptions significantly, but architectural studies have given little attention to the management of interruptions. Methods: Therefore, the researcher reviewed research literature in other fields to find out how the physical environment affected interruptions. Many studies were from management, human factors, and health care, but few from architecture. First the author examined the impact of interruptions, second described the social context of interruptions and the role of the physical environment. Results: Findings included that description of the physical environment was not very clear in studies from management and human factors, while little work had been done on interruptions in architecture. The author proposed study design that compensated shortcomings of each field by combining approaches from management, human factors, and architecture. Implications: Unit design strategies such as distributed nurse stations can affect interruptions and layout analysis such as space syntax analysis can evaluate visibility and accessibility of floor plans in the preliminary design phase.

  • This study aims to examine the effect of variables of financial management information systems, organizational culture, and human resource competence on the accountability of village government financial reporting. The sample was 65 villages in the two districts using a simple random sampling technique. To analyze the data of this research, multiple regression analysis was conducted. The results showed that organizational culture as a differentiator in the two districts, namely financial management information systems, organizational culture, and human resource competence has a significant positive effect on accountability in preparing village government financial reports in Tabanan Regency. Meanwhile, organizational culture does not have a significant influence in Badung Regency, this is because each village government has a different work culture. In the Tabanan regency, we use local culture as the basis for organizational culture, while in the Badung regency it can be examined between organizational culture and it is carried out differently, which indicates that no one organizational culture type is superior to other types. This means that all types can move in line with and hand-in-hand based on how and when organizational goals are to be realized.
