Monitor Backcover의 사이클 타임 단축에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Reduction of Cycle Time in Injection Molding Process of The Monitor Backcover)

  • In the present study we used a diagrammatic analysis of 6 sigma quality control and Taguchi method for injection molding of monitor back-cover, evaluated the influence on the cycle time with part design, mold design, molding process and standardization activity involving design and molding, adopted analysis of sensitivity and effective factors of the part design and molding process conditions for productivity, identified main design molding factors. The contributing factors for the final cycle time could be enumerated as follows; the thickness of hot spot, main nominal part thickness, coolant inlet temperature, melt temperature and cooling line layout, etc.. As a first step, all the critical factors of design process applied to the current monitor housing were investigated through 6 sigma process. Thereafter, the optimal and better critical factors found in the first step were applied to new product design to prove that our process was correct. The Moldflow was used for injection molding simulation, and Minitab software for the statistical analysis, respectively. Finally, the productivity of new design was increased about 33 percents for our specific case.

일체형 주상용 몰드 변압기의 덕트에 따른 열해석 특성 연구 (The Thermal Analysis of Pole Mount Mold Transformer with One-body Molding by Duct Condition)

  • The mold transformers have been widely used in underground substations in large building and have some advantages in comparison to oil-transformer, that is low fire risk, excellent environmental compatibility, compact size and high reliability. In addition, the application of mold transformer for outdoor is possible due to development of epoxy resin. The mold transformer generally has cooling duct between low voltage coil and high voltage coil. A mold transformer made by one body molding method has been developed for small size and ow loss, but it needs some cooling method because heat radiation between each winding is difficult. The life of transformer is significantly dependent on the thermal behavior in windings. Many transformer designers have calculated temperature distribution and hot spot point by finite element method(FEM) to analyze winding temperature rise. In this paper, The thermal analysis of pole mount mold transformer with one body molding by duct condition is investigated and the test result of temperature rise is compared with simulation data.

  • The present study used a diagrammatic analysis of 6 sigma quality control and Taguchi method for injection molding process of monitor back-cover, evaluated the influence on the cycle time with part design, mold design, molding process and standardization activity involving design & molding, adopted analysis of sensitivity and effective factors of the part design and molding process conditions for productivity, identified main design molding factors, as critical ones influencing on the quality and productivity, of which is summarized as design guidance. The main contribution factors for cycle time can be sequentially enumerated as follows; hot spot, part thickness, coolant inlet temperature, melt temperature cooling line layout, etc.. As a first step critical factors of the design process of current monitor housing were investigated. And the optimal and better critical factors found in the first step were applied to a new product proving our process was correct. Moldflow software was used for injection molding simulation, and Minitab software for the statistical analysis. Finally, the productivity was increased by about 33 percents for our specific case.

To achieve better compact structure and low loss, mold transformers made by one body molding method has been developed. Nevertheless, such kinds of transformer need better cooling method because heat radiation between each winding is still of problem. The life of transformer is significantly dependent on the thermal behavior in windings. Many designers have calculated temperature distribution in transformers and hot spot point by finite element method(FEM) to analyze winding temperature rise. In this paper, the temperature distribution analysis of 100 kVA pole mold transformer for power distribution were investigated by FEM program and the thermal analysis results were compared with temperature rise test.

  • Recently, many countries all over the world have been suffered from disaster caused by climate change. Especially in case of developed countries, the disaster is concentrated in the industry sector. In this research, we analyzed industrial vulnerable homogeneous hotspot for the climate change using spatial autocorrelation analysis on the south Korea. Homogeneous hot spot areas through autocorrelation analysis indicate the spatial pattern of areas interacted each other. Industry sector have responsibility of green house gas emissions, and should adapt to the climate change caused by greenhouse gas already released. So, we integrated the areas sensitive to mitigation option with the areas hardly adapt to climate change because of vulnerable infrastructure. We expected that the result of this research could contribute to the decision-making system of climate change polices.

벼 Ds 삽입변이 pooling 계통들의 FST 및 유전자형 분석 (Analysis of Genotype and Flanking Sequence Tagged from pooled Ds Insertional lines in rice)

  • Ds 삽입변이체로 부터 5,400개의 FST를 분석한 결과, intragenic FST가 48.1%로 2,597개, intergenic FST가 25.6%로 1,383개였으며 hot spot을 포함한 origin insertional sequence는 1,350개로 25%로 나타났다. Intragenic FST로서 선발된 2,597개를 이용하여 Ds와의 유전자형을 분석한 결과 53.6%인 1,393개가 heterozygous 혹은 homozygous 계통으로 나타났으며 이들에 대한 염색체상의 분포도는 3번 염색체에서 422 계통으로 가장 많은 분포도를 보여주었고 다른 염색체는 56 계통에서 157 계통 범위 내에 포함되었다. 1차적으로 유전자형 분석이 끝난 1,393개의 유전자들 중에서 expressed protein 등 알려지지 않은 것은 40.6%로 566개였으며 TIGR DB에서 염기서열의 유사성 검색을 통해 유전자의 명칭이 알려진 것은 59.4%인 827개로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구는 고무 탄성커플링을 적용한 특수선의 디젤엔진 추진체계에서 유압작동식 다판, 습식 마찰클러치의 고착에 대한 원인분석 내용이다. 클러치 고착원인 분석을 위해 피쉬본((fish bone) 방법으로 클러치 및 감속기어 분해조사, 선박 탑재상태에서의 체계 시험 및 부품 조사, 비파괴 시험 등을 통해 수행하였다. 마찰판 고착은 클러치 중공축의 크랙부를 통해 제어오일 누설로 인한 슬립, 마찰열 발생에 의해 발생되었다. 마찰판 냉각 오일 또한 크랙부를 통해 동시에 누설에 기인한 유량부족으로 클러치 마찰판은 국부적인 눌러붙임이 발생하는 핫스팟(hot spot)에 의해 고착되었다.

유한요소법을 이용한 X-선관 양극각도에 의존하는 전자빔 초점 특성 연구 (Property of Focal Spot of Electron Beam Depending on the Anode Angle of X-ray Tube Using a Finite Element Method)

  • 텅스텐 타겟인 양극의 각도에 의존하는 X-선관 집속관의 전자빔 초점 크기를 오페라-3차원/스칼라(OPERA-3D/SCALAR) 프로그램을 이용하여 구하였다. 시뮬레이션 분석은 X-선관을 음극과 양극 그리고 4영역을 나누어 유한요소법을 적용하였다. X-선 집속관의 필라멘트로부터 방출되는 열전자 궤적은 전자밀도 분포함수에 따라 양극에 도달할 때 실초점으로 집속되고 양극에 부딪쳐서 유효 초점 크기로 X-선을 발생하게 된다. 전자빔 실초점 크기는 X-선 집속관 모양을 결정짓는 폭, 길이, 높이를 조절하여 줄일 수 있었고, 양극각도의 크기에 따라 미세하게 변하였다. 양극각도가 $10^{\circ}{\sim}17^{\circ}$에서는 전자빔 실초점 크기를 $70{\mu}m$ 이내로 유지하였고, 가장 최소 초점크기는 $15^{\circ}$에서 실초점 크기가 $40{\mu}m$로 나타났다. 최적화된 X-선 집속관의 변수들로 시뮬레이션하는 열전자의 방출 궤적을 분석하여 얻은 마이크로 크기인 실초점을 활용하는 새로운 의료 영상진단기기 개발이 가능할 것으로 보여진다.

Reliability-based assessment of steel bridge deck using a mesh-insensitive structural stress method

  • This paper aims to conduct the reliability-based assessment of the welded joint in the orthotropic steel bridge deck by use of a mesh-insensitive structural stress (MISS) method, which is an effective numerical procedure to determine the reliable stress distribution adjacent to the weld toe. Both the solid element model and the shell element model are first established to investigate the sensitivity of the element size and the element type in calculating the structural stress under different loading scenarios. In order to achieve realistic condition assessment of the welded joint, the probabilistic approach based on the structural reliability theory is adopted to derive the reliability index and the failure probability by taking into account the uncertainties inherent in the material properties and load conditions. The limit state function is formulated in terms of the structural resistance of the material and the load effect which is described by the structural stress obtained by the MISS method. The reliability index is computed by use of the first-order reliability method (FORM), and compared with a target reliability index to facilitate the safety assessment. The results achieved from this study reveal that the calculation of the structural stress using the MISS method is insensitive to the element size and the element type, and the obtained structural stress results serve as a reliable basis for structural reliability analysis.
