Koinonia 기반 무선 DVR 시스템의 구현 (Implementations of Wireless DVR System on Koinonia Technology)

  • In this paper, we first introduce a Koinonia technology. Then we present a wireless Digital Video Recorder (DVR) system based on the Koinonia technology. In addition we implement the wireless DVR system, which is composed of Wireless DVR-Slave (WDVR-S), Wireless DVR-Access Point (WDVR-AP), and Wireless DVR-Emergence Management System (WDVR-EMS). Also we present the acquired Korea Communication Commission (KCC) mark for the last products. The developed system will give a hint that the Koinonia technology can be adopted in wireless DVR systems to handle safety and security issues.

  • Fifth-generation (5G) wireless communication supports low latency of up to 1 ms or less, 20 Gbps of data rate, and more than 1 million connections. With these technical advantages, machines and equipment can be precisely adjusted, allowing 5G to be applied to industrial applications. To expand the industrial application of 5G wireless communications, major countries have introduced dedicated 5G, allowing specific companies to build and use 5G directly. Germany, UK, and Japan allocate 100 MHz, 416 MHz, and 1,200 MHz, respectively, of bandwidth dedicated to 5G. Companies with local licenses from the government are expected to accelerate the application of 5G at a low cost and low-frequency range. Therefore, Korea should introduce private 5G to foster 5G-related industrial ecosystems and successfully implement the fourth industrial revolution.

  • 고체 로켓 추진제로 널리 사용되는 물질은 AP/HTPB 복합추진제이다. 고체 로켓 주위에 열 하중이 가해진다면(화재 등) 추진제가 발화할 수 있고, 사고의 원인이 된다. 본 연구에서는 AP/HTPB 복합추진제의 주위에 열 하중을 가함으로써 AP/HTPB의 발화특성을 확인해 보았다.

Improvement of delayed hydride cracking assessment of PWR spent fuel during dry storage

  • In a previous study, delayed hydride cracking (DHC) assessment of pressurized water reactor (PWR) spent fuel during dry storage using the threshold stress intensity factor (KIH) was performed. However, there were a few limitations in the analysis of the cladding properties, such as oxide thickness and mechanical properties. In this study, those models were modified to include test data for irradiated materials, and the cladding creep model was introduced to improve the reliability of the DHC assessment. In this study, DHC susceptibility of PWR spent fuel during dry storage depending on the axial elevation was evaluated with the improved assessment methodology. In addition, the sensitivity of affecting parameters such as fuel burnup, hydride thickness, and crack aspect ratio are presented.

  • Pile foundations have been used for upholding superstructure's loads. The researches on pile foundations subjected to compressive forces or horizontal loads have been actively carried out. However, recently, pile foundations, which are subjected to pull-out forces, are getting increased. The study on the pull-out resistance of piles becomes to be important. In addition, it is expected that belled piles will be used more and more, since the belled piles are effective to resist the pull-out forces. But there is still a lack of research on pull-out resistance of belled piles. Therefore, in order to investigate the resisting effect against pull-out of belled piles which is embedded in cohesionless soil. a series of pull-out test is performed on belled piles in field. Especially, the relation between load and displacement is analyzed through the pull-out test.

  • Composite soil methods among granular pile merhods that we could improve soft ground of fine soil particles by, have permeability as one of fundamental principals. The catual state, that voids of sand or gravel, etc. of granular soil as drainage materials are clogged by fine soil particles, is 'clogging'. In this study, it is analysed that using sand or gravel, etc. of granular soil as drainage materials, experiment are made by clogging tester on several condition.

  • Electro-optical (EO) performances of the ion beam aligned twisted nematic (TN)-liquid crystal display (LCD) with oblique ion beam exposure on the DLC thin film surface were studied. An excellent voltage-transmittance (VT) curve of the ion beam aligned TN-LCD was observed with oblique ion beam exposure on the DLC thin film surface for 1 min. Also, a faster response time for the ion beam aligned TN-LCD can be achieved with oblique ion beam exposure on the DLC thin film surface for 1 min can be achieved.

  • This paper provides the steady-state UPFC model referred as UPFC injection model for power flow control. The application of UPFC for the line overload alleviation is demonstrated through a numerical example. It is shown that UPFC has the capability of regulating the power flow, therefore alleviating the line overload.

마이크로파에 의한 하수슬러지 전처리시 세포파괴 특성에 관한 연구

  • 조사강도(700W, 500W, 350W)별로 4분간 전처리시 세포파괴도는 protein의 경우 각각 69.1, 25.8, 21.5%를 나타내었으며, carbohydrate의 경우 각각 7.7, 3.2, 2.9%를 나타내어, 조사강도가 강할수록 동일 조사시간에 대한 세포파괴도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 조사강도 500W 및,35OW의 경우 최대 조사시간인 6분 및 8분에 대한 protein의 세포파괴도는 각각 74.3, 76.9%를 나타내어 최대 조사강도 700W로 4분간 전처리시와 유사한 세포파괴도 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 마이크로파 전처리시 이러한 protein의 높은 세포파괴도는 체외고분자물질(ECPs)의 탈착 및 간극수 중의 protein 물질의 누출 등에 의한 것으로 판단되며, 상기 실험결과와 같이 protein의 높은 세포파괴도는 후속공정인 혐기성소화시 율속단계(rate-limiting step)의 단축으로 소화효율이 향상될 것으로 판단된다.

  • Although many advanced control strategies and concepts have been proposed recently, the most popular controller in the process industries is the PID controller because of its simplicity, easy implementation, and robustness. A multiloop PID controller design method using the general IMC tuning rule is presented in this paper. The IMC-PID controller is formed by combining the integral term designed by considering interactions between the individual loops with the proportional and derivative terms designed in circumstance neglecting the interactions.
