샘플 추출방법에 근거한 비선형 진동계의 성능 불확실성 예측 (Performance Uncertainty Estimation of a Nonlinear Vibration System Based on a Sampling Method)

  • A designer regards the vibration system as a linear system. However, in real world, nonlinearity of a vibration system should exist caused by various factors like manufacturing conditions or uncertain material properties. So, properties of a spring and a damper which are consisting the vibration system have statistical distribution. Therefore, a designer needs to analyze the statistical nonlinearity in a vibration system. In this paper, $1^{st}$ Taylor series expansion method and univariate dimension reduction method apply to a performance measure of nonlinear vibration system, and compare each result. And then, merits and demerits of each method are discussed. For apply more actual problem, a performance measure population is estimated based on design variable samples like properties of spring or damper.

연직배수재에 의한 실트질 지반에서의 스미어 존 특성 평가 (Characteristics of the Smear Zone by Vertical Drain on Silt)

  • The vertical drain method generate the disturbed zone, because the drainage should be penetrated into the in-situ ground. The characteristics of the smear zone generated cause the problems that the coefficient of permeability decreases and the consolidation time anticipated in the design is not properly shortened. In this study, in order to understand such influence, the laboratory test were carried out so as to reasonably determine the coefficient of consolidation in silt. For that procedure, mandrel of a diversity were penetrated into the soil tube with silt, and then the variation of pore water pressure was measured with the pore pressure meter, Then, the range of smear effect on silt was estimated with monitoring data through the laboratory test, and also analyzed with inputting the coefficient of consolidation into the theoretical equation.

  • This study aimes to devote development of health policy and program to obtain health promotion by finding the level of health behavior of college students in Korea and analysing its effects. The finds of this research was as follows ; First, the lower classes was lower concerns on health care and health behavior on hygiene controls than the higher classes. Based on this investigation, this paper suggests that the development of the effective sports program is specially necessary to obtain health promotion for the lower classes.

  • The IESF(Integral Error and State Feedback) controller, which incorporates state feedback as a modern control scheme and integral action as a classical control scheme, has better performance than that of the conventional PID controller in linear time-invariant systems. The IESF controller requires the measurement of all the state variables. But, unfortunately, it may be difficult or impossible to measure all state variables in many applications. And the IESF controller is applicable only to pole-assignable linear time-invariant system without time delay. In this paper, new IESF controller structure was proposed which performs feedback with only measurable state variables. In order to estimate the unmeasurable state variables. It was adopted the filter mode by full-order obserber. The good performance and effectiveness of the proposed controller was confirmed by computer simulation.

  • This paper deals with the analysis of a DC servo motel speed control system with PI-controller using the SPICE, which was developed as n simulation program for electronic circuits. The system including PI-controller is needed to be modelled for SPICE analysis. The system is divided to motor part, power conversion part, and control part for effective simulations. The overall system is reconstructed by using the above models and the steady-state and transient state are analyzed through SPICE simulations. The simulation results are verified by comparing with the results obtained by conventional simulations.

  • 암의 성장을 정확하게 예측할 수 있다면 암으로 고통 받는 많은 사람들에게 적절한 치료 및 처방을 내릴 수 있을 것이다. 그 동안 암의 성장을 예측하기 위하여 많은 연구가 진행되어왔는데 크게 나누어 하향식 설계 방법과 상향식 설계 방법이 있다. 하향식 방법은 전체적인 흐름을 파악하기는 쉽지만, 지역적 특성을 고려하기 어렵다는 단점이 있고, 상향식 방법은 지역적 특성은 고려하기 쉽지만, 전체적인 흐름을 파악하기 어려운 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 가지 방법을 혼합한 방법을 사용하여 지역적으로는 불규칙적인 암의 성장 모습과 암이 다른 조직으로 전이되는 모습을 동시에 관찰 할 수 있게 하였다. 아울러 시뮬레이션된 암의 모형이 실제 임상학적인 모습과 유사하다는 것을 발견하였다.

  • Percutaneous cordotomy is a useful method for cancer pain management. Candidates for cervical cordotomy include those patients with unilateral cancer pain below the shoulder, with a life expectancy of less than 1 year, who can not be adequately treated by other less invasive methods. However, various complications can occur following a cordotomy, with the most serious being respiratory dysfunction. Herein, we report a case of transient respiratory dysfunction following a percutaneous cervical cordotomy.

  • 본 연구에서는 팽창형 막 구조물의 대변형 특성을 수치적 그리고 실험적으로 살펴보았다. Miller와 Hedgepeth의 막 이론을 이용하여 주름 효과를 고려한 막재료 구성방정식을 FORTRAN으로 해석 알고리즘을 만들어 user material(UMAT) subroutine을 개발하였다. 개발된 주름 해석 UMAT subroutine을 상용 해석 프로그램 ABAQUS와 연계 해석하여 팽창형 막 구조물의 주름 영역과 변형된 형상 특성 연구를 수행하였다.

  • A new multi-level type energy recovery sustaining driver for AC PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is proposed in this paper. The multi-level driver has been developed to reduce the voltage stress on switching elements. Comparing the proposed driver with the conventional multi-level driver, 4 switching elements, 4 diodes, and two auxiliary capacitors are eliminated in the viewpoint of circuit structure. Moreover, the voltage stress on switching elements is more reduced and the sustain period is extended. To verify the validity of the proposed energy recovery circuit, computer simulations using PSpice program are carried out.
