Furniture Brand Development Plan Study according to Increasing Single-Person Households - Focused on hanssem and ikea (1인 가구 증가에 따른 가구브랜드 발전 방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct research from qualitative aspects regarding the development of substantive design research for furniture brand and detailed development direction as single household has increased rapidly. In case of research method, the usability evaluation questionnaire was produced based on Honey Comb Model of Peter Morville. As a result, the single-person household including other household show preference for furniture for the one-man households and tend to purchase and use them. Nonetheless, it was found that places for sharing opinion and reselling the furniture are greatly lacking. Therefore, it is required to vitalize community market for the one-man household. And it is expected that this result of research provides useful implication concerning the single household as well as academic significance to offer primary information of furniture brand development-related research.

Evaluation for User Experience about Social Dating Mobile Application Service in Korea -Focusing on I-um and Noondate- (국내 모바일 애플리케이션 소셜 데이팅 서비스에 대한 사용자 경험 연구 -이음과 정오의 데이트를 중심으로-)

  • The study evaluates user experiences of I-um and Noondate, typical Social Dating Mobile Application Service in Korea, to suggest guidelines that are more user-centered and useful. I did some literature research followed with evaluation of theoretical backgrounds, present conditions. Also, I recasted to the six principles of "Honey comb model" by Peter Morville to conduct an in-depth interview. The result indicate that I-um needs to improve accuracy of matching system by checking user's interest and detailed profile. Noondate needs to develop the cards sorting systems so that user can supervise themselves. I expect this study will become a good resource for upgrading user experiences of Social Dating Service. I also believe that this study can guide other studies about user experience in other fields.

A Study on the Design of Sustainable App Services for Medication Management and Disposal of Waste Drugs (약 복용 관리와 폐의약품 처리를 위한 지속 가능한 앱 서비스 디자인 연구)

  • Due to the global pandemic aftermath of the coronavirus, the importance of health care is being emphasized more socially. Due to the influence of these changes, domestic pharmaceutical companies have introduced regular drug delivery services, that is, drug and health functional food subscription services. Currently, this market is continuously growing. However, these regular services are causing new environmental problems in which the number of waste drugs increases due to the presence of unused drugs. Therefore, this study proposes a service that not only promotes health management through regular medication adherence to reduce the amount of pharmaceutical waste but also aims to improve awareness and practices regarding proper medication disposal. As a preliminary survey for service design, a preliminary survey was conducted on 51 adults to confirm their perception of drug use habits and waste drug collection. Based on the Honey Comb model, a guideline for service design was created, and a prototype was produced by specifying the service using the preliminary survey results and service design methodology. In order to verify the effectiveness of the prototype, a first user task survey was conducted to identify the problems of the prototype, and after improving this, a second usability test was conducted on 49 adults to confirm the versatility of the service. Usability verification was conducted using SPSS Mac version 29.0. For the evaluation results of the questionnaire, Spearmann Correlation Analysis was conducted to confirm the relationship between frequency analysis and evaluation items. This study presents specific solutions to the problem of waste drugs due to the spread of drug subscription services.

A Proposal for User Experience Design for Domestic Bicycle Rider whom going Long Distance Trip -Focusing on App - (국내 장거리 자전거 여행자를 위한 사용자 경험 디자인 제안 -자전거 행복나눔 애플리케이션을 중심으로-)

  • This study is to measure traveling experience of bike riders whom going long distance trip. Bike paths and bike riding are crucial element for modern people's life style. At the same time, a bicycle trail is being developed by the National Bicycled-Oriented Chair Plan, which was established in 2009 by the National Bike Policy Master Plan. 13 million bike riders in Korea is keep on trying the long distance bike trip and its number is increasing every year. Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security decides to promote the convenience of riders by developing bicycle app for long distance rider. The study attempted to assess usability of this app with 39 bike applications whom currently using the bike application. Afterwards, the researchers tests 11 hypotheses through in-depth interviews of six activated members. In sum, Bicycle travelers should be provided with bike trail guidance based on theme section skill, provided in-time speed distance related information, communicated with other bike riders, given tips for bike supplies and maintenance, and provided English language service. The study hopes to help find a customized service for bike travelers.
