초등수학에서 계산기 활용의 효율성에 관한 연구 (The Effects of the Use of Calculators in Elementary School Mathematics Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the use of calculators in elementary school mathematics education. For this purpose, we established the subject matters of the research as folloows; (1) to develop the lesson plan and the students' activity sheet related to the use of calculators. (2) to analyze the effects of the use of calculators when we applied the materials developed. Four classes of sixth grade students were sampled two elementary schools in D city. Two of them were assigned to the calculator group and the others to traditional group. The experiment was conducted for 10 class times. Two kinds of test instruments were used: pretest and post test. The pretest scores guaranteed that both groups were homogeneous. Post-test was used to identify the effect of use of calculator and the post-test scores were analyzed by t-test. We also used questionnaire to identify the students' change of attitude toward mathematics. The results of this study as fellows: (1) The calculator group got scores significantly higher than the traditional group on the test. (2) The students' attitude in calculator group was changed a little positively.

캐릭터를 이용한 관심전환중재가 학령전기 아동의 정맥주사 시 통증과 주사공포에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Character Distraction on Intravenous Injection Pain of Hospitalized Preschooler)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the effects of the distraction generated by character stamp and stickers on reduction of intravenous injection pain. Method: This study was conducted using a quasi experimental non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design. 60 preschool children who admitted to a Pediatric Department in a C University Hospital were selected as subjects. Convenience assignment was used. The two groups were homogeneous on characteristics. Results: In the experimental group, objective pain(t=3.666, p=.001), subjective pain (t=3.415, p=.001) and perceived pain by the mother(t=2.528, p=0.014) decreased after intravenous injections than the control group. There were no statistical significant differences in pulse rate or fear between the experimental and the control group. Conclusion: These findings indicate that using character stamp and stickers could be considered as an independent nursing intervention for intravenous injection pain reduction in preschooler.

야초지 식생의 상관분석 (Interspecific Association on a Native Grasslands)

  • 광농의 야초지 식생에 100개의 방형구를 설치하여 출현종을 조사한 결과 96종이 기록되었으나, 5개의 방형구 미만에서 출현한 종은 제외시키고, 40종만을 대상으로 삼았으며, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 중간의 유연관계를 Agnew의 방법으로 처리하여 식물군집을 Group I, II, III 와 3 group으로 나눌 수 있었다. 2) Goodall의 제층분류법에 의해 Group A,B,C,D,E,F 인 6개의 식물군집을 얻었다. 3) (1)에서 얻은 Group I,II,III 을 (2)의 A,B,C,D,E,F 와 대응시켜 빈도의 총합을 비교하였으나, 뚜렷한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다.

순환학습 모형 적용이 초등학생의 전기개념 변화에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Learning Cycle Model on the Change of Electricity Conceptions of Elementary Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of learning cycle model on the changes of electricity conceptions of elementary students. Four classes in forth grade of an elementary school in Busan were selected and two of them were served as experimental group and the others as control group. The experimental group were taught the unit of "Light an electric bulb" in elementary science textbook with teaching model based on teaming cycle and the control group with traditional teaching style. The instruction effects were analyzed through pre and post-test results using questionnaire on the electricity. The results of pre-test showed that there was not a significant difference between experimental group and control group at .05 level, so two groups could be regarded as homogeneous. The mean score of experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group on the post-test at .05 level. And within-group comparison revealed that both groups made improvement on the mean score and that the improvement of each group had significant difference at .05 level. Above results said that the teaching model based on learning cycle, which focuses on hands-on activity and considers each student as an active subject, was more effective than traditional teaching style in improving the formation of scientific conceptions on electricity.ectricity.

이혼하려는 부부의 ‘이혼 전 부모교육프로그램’에 관한 인식 (Perception of Parent Education Programs during Divorce Procedure)

  • The present study examined the effects of parent-education administered during divorce procedure on the perception of parent-education programs. The subjects were 60 couples who were in divorce procedure at the Seoul Family Court and had children under 20 Subjects were divided into three groups of 20 couples each: a control group, and experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 that were homogeneous in demographical and legal backgrounds. Experimental group 1 was shown pamphlets and videos on the role of divorced parents, and experimental group 2 was shown pamphlets and videos on the role of divorced parents as well as given explanations about the contents of the pamphlets and videos. No treatment was applied to the control group. According to the results of the experiment, the two experimental groups showed improvement in their perception of the necessity for parent-education programs. Demand for the number of sessions and hours, and the effect was higher in experimental group 2 than in experimental group 1. With regard to the necessity of parent-education programs, experimental group 2 was positive particularly to mandatory injunction, the payment of education fees and expectation of helpfulness. All three groups expected that parent-education programs would be helpful.

중학교 과학 영역에서 성별에 따른 소집단 구성방법의 협동학습에 대한 효과 (Effect of Gender Grouping on Cooperative Learning in Middle School Science)

  • 본 연구에서는 성별에 따라 소집단 구성 방법을 달리한 두 가지 협동학습의 교수방법이 학생의 학업 성취도와 과학 학습 태도에 미치는 효과를 조사하였다. 중학교 2학년의 3개 학급 144명을 대상으로 지구과학 분야의 수업을 처치하여 전체 및 남녀 학생별로 이들 효과를 공변량 분석하였다. 통제 집단에 대하여는 전통적인 수업을 실시하였다. 처치 수업 전에 과학 학습 태도에 관한 질문지가 학생에게 배포되었고, 이 점수를 공변인으로 사용하였다. 처치 후에는 본 연구에서 개발된 과학 학업성취도와 관련된 문항과 함께 같은 질문지가 사용되었다. 학업성취도, 그리고 학습태도의 하위영역인 과학교과에 대한 인식의 성차에서 수업처치의 주효과 그리고 수업처치와 성별 사이의 상호작용 효과는 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 과학 수업에 대한 태도에서는 전체 학생에서 동성끼리 소집단을 구성한 협동학습 집단의 점수가 이성의 경우보다 유의미하게 높았다. 수업환경의 인식에 대한 전체 학생의 점수는 전통적 수업집단보다 두 협동학습 집단에서 유의미하게 높았으며, 이러한 경향은 여학생에서 동성끼리 소집단을 구성한 협동학습 집단에서 더욱 현저하였다.

Annealing of Co-Cr dental alloy: effects on nanostructure and Rockwell hardness

  • PURPOSE. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of annealing on the nanostructure and hardness of Co-Cr metal ceramic samples that were fabricated with a direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) technique. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Five groups of Co-Cr dental alloy samples were manufactured in a rectangular form measuring $4{\times}2{\times}2$ mm. Samples fabricated by a conventional casting technique (Group I) and prefabricated milling blanks (Group II) were examined as conventional technique groups. The DMLS samples were randomly divided into three groups as not annealed (Group III), annealed in argon atmosphere (Group IV), or annealed in oxygen atmosphere (Group V). The nanostructure was examined with the small-angle X-ray scattering method. The Rockwell hardness test was used to measure the hardness changes in each group, and the means and standard deviations were statistically analyzed by one-way ANOVA for comparison of continuous variables and Tukey's HSD test was used for post hoc analysis. P values of <.05 were accepted as statistically significant. RESULTS. The general nanostructures of the samples were composed of small spherical entities stacked atop one another in dendritic form. All groups also displayed different hardness values depending on the manufacturing technique. The annealing procedure and environment directly affected both the nanostructure and hardness of the Co-Cr alloy. Group III exhibited a non-homogeneous structure and increased hardness ($48.16{\pm}3.02$ HRC) because the annealing process was incomplete and the inner stress was not relieved. Annealing in argon atmosphere of Group IV not only relieved the inner stresses but also decreased the hardness ($27.40{\pm}3.98$ HRC). The results of fitting function presented that Group IV was the most homogeneous product as the minimum bilayer thickness was measured (7.11 ${\AA}$). CONCLUSION. After the manufacturing with DMLS technique, annealing in argon atmosphere is an essential process for Co-Cr metal ceramic substructures. The dentists should be familiar with the materials that are used in clinic for prosthodontics treatments.

사회적 상호작용을 강조한 과학 탐구실험의 효과 (The Effects of Scientific Inquiry Experiments Emphasizing Social Interaction)

  • 사회적 상호작용을 강조한 과학탐구실험이 학생들의 학업성취와 과학탐구능력 및 학습동기에 미치는 효과에 대해 연구하였으며, 탐구실험 수업이 소집단의 구성방식에 따라 어떠한 차이를 나타내는지 알아보기 위해 인지수준이 동질인 집단과 이질인 집단의 효과를 비교하였다. 이를 위해 중학교 2학년 255명을 통제집단과 실험집단으로 나누어, 실험집단에는 사회적 상호작용을 강조한 과학탐구실험 수업을, 통제집단에는 전통적인 실험 수업을 1년간 적용한 후 과학 학업성취도, 과학탐구능력, 학습동기 검사를 실시하였다. 사회적 상호작용을 강조한 탐구실험은 이끌어내기, 친숙해지기, 구성하기, 확장하기의 4단계로 구성되어 있으며, 관찰 현상을 학습과 연관시키고 실험을 설계하며 결론을 이끌어내는 과정을 통해 동료 및 교사와 상호작용을 할 수 있도록 구성되어 있다. 연구 결과 사회적 상호작용을 강조한 과학탐구실험은 학생들의 학업성취와 과학탐구능력 및 학습동기에서 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 모든 인지수준의 학생들에게 효과가 나타난 것은 아니었으나 대부분의 인지 수준에서 학업성취의 효과가 크게 나타났으며, 학업성취에 비해 과학탐구능력의 향상정도가 낮았다. 소집단 구성에 따른 효과에서는 동질집단이 이질집단에 비해 성취도와 학습동기에서 유의미한 향상이 있었다. 이러한 결과는 과학탐구실험에서 상호작용이 중요하며, 상호작용이 학생들의 성취도와 탐구능력 향상에 긍정적 영향이 있음을 시사한다.

중학생 봉사활동 유형과 지도기관에 따른 자아개념 변화의 분석 (The Analysis of the changes in self-concept of middle school students by the types of volunteer activities and guiding organizations)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data to activate the operation of the volunteer activities. The specified subjects for this study are how different is it in the changes of the self-concept and the satisfaction and the intention of the continuance of volunteer activities according to the type of volunteer work and guiding organization for middle school students. For this study, 64 students, the homogeneous ability group, were intentionally assigned in the preliminary inspection of self-concept and 16 students were randomly allocated respectively for 4 groups. The consequences based on the result are as follow: First, it has more influence with the group activities than the individual on the changes in the self-concept. But, there isn't meaningful difference by each guiding organization. Therefore, the school has to provide with activating middle school student's activities by developing various weekly and monthly club volunteer activities. Second, for the satisfaction and the intention of continuance among the guiding organization, it has meaningful difference in the group activities only, not in the individual ones. It gives the ground for the government to provide intensified support to the leaders of the group and grant the incentives to the group of distinguished activities, in the perspective of developing sociality, promoting the group volunteer activities.

"유사 통행행태 집단"의 Trip-chaining을 고려한 통행발생 모형 (A Study on Trip Generation Model considering Trip-chaining by Behavioral Homogeneous Person Group)

  • 최근 들어 싱글족, 맞벌이 부부 증가 등 가구구성 체계에 많은 변화가 발생하였고, 이로 인한 개인들의 일상적인 업무수행의 변화는 통행행태에도 지대한 영향을 미치게 되었다. 이 중 중요한 특징 중의 하나는 예를 들어 출근 중에 자녀들을 등교시키거나, 퇴근 길에 구매 또는 여가활동을 수행하는 다수의 통행목적을 하나의 out-going 통행으로 처리되는 비중이 늘고 있다는 것이다. 따라서 통행을 하나의 목적을 수행하기 위하여 독립적으로 발생하는 것이 아닌 하루 동안 개인이 다양한 활동을 수행하기 위하여 장소를 이동한 activity-based 개념의 통행고리의 형태로 파악하고 이에 기반 한 통행발생 모형의 필요성이 높다. 본 논문은 통행발생 모형에 있어서 직업, 승용차 보유여부 등을 기준으로 "유사한 통행특성"을 갖는 집단을 분류하고, 집단별 구성원들의 평균적인 1일 중 activity diary를 분석하여 업무수행 순서, 통행고리별 발생시간, 이용 교통수단 등 통행특성에 의하여 총 통행량을 추정하는 모형을 개발하였다. 실증적인 검증으로서 공주시 가구통행실태조사를 수행하여 "유사통행행태" 집단의 분류, 집단별 통행행태의 특성과 이에 기초한 교통지구 별 통행발생량을 추정하였다. "유사통행행태" 집단의 구분은 통행발생에 있어서 유의성이 높은 설명인자인 직업과 승용차의 보유여부, 학생인지의 여부를 기준으로 하였다. 분석결과 이와 같은 구분기준이 기존 국내 교통계획모형에서 일반적으로 적용되고 있는 산업군 분류기준에 비하여 비교적 통행특성을 잘 반영하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 집단별 통행고리 특성에 기반 한 통행발생 추정 결과 교통지구별 통행발생량들이 교통지구별 인구, 직장인수, 자동차 보유율과 인구유입시설 등의 각종 사회 경제지표의 특성 등도 잘 반영하는 것으로 나타났다.
