The number of enrolled long-term care workers are 950,000 persons in 2010. Mostly they are working in home based care work places such as home visit care centers and home visit bathing centers covered insurance. The purpose of this study is to understand the difference of task performance requirement according to long-term care workers' responsibilities which divided into home visiting care and home visiting bathing. The comparison analysis was conducted to task performance requirement in basic management, safety management, administration management, practical services. Key result was found that task performance requirement of long-term care workers whose responsibilities are home visiting care were more higher than the home visiting bathing. Finally, To improve quality of home visiting care and home visiting bathing, it is necessary to provide the fields based continuing education and reflect new reimburse system.

  • The purpose of this study examined the differences in work-family spillover process and domains in dual-earner couples with children, using a multidimensional measure of work-family spillover. The subjects of this study were 285 working couples with children. The research tool was questionnaires which consisted of general characteristics of the subjects and multidimensional measure of work-family spillover scale. For data analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach ${\alpha}$, t-test, and paired t-test were performed. Based on analysis of data using factor analysis, three-distinct work-family spillover process can be measured for both wife and husband, time interference, psychological distraction, and energy depletion and the multidimensional measure of work-family spillover is able to validly assess different domains of family life into which spillover occurs. The main results of this study were as following: First, there were significant differences in work-family spillover process according to sex. In work${\rightarrow}$family spillover, male more experienced negative time interference than female, on the other hand, in family${\rightarrow}$work spillover, female more experienced negative energy depletion than male. Second, there were significant differences in domains which work-family spillover occurs according to sex. Male more experienced negative work${\rightarrow}$family spillover than female in marital relations and parent-child relations domains while female more experienced negative family${\rightarrow}$work spillover than male in parent-child relations and home management domains. Third, there were significant differences between wife and husband in work-family spillover process. In work${\rightarrow}$family spillover, husband more experienced negative time interference than wife, on the other hand, in family${\rightarrow}$work spillover, wife more experienced negative energy depletion than husbands. Forth, there were significant differences between wife and husband in domains which work-family spillover occurs. Male more experienced negative work${\rightarrow}$family spillover than female in marital relations, parent-child relations, and leisure life domains. And while husband more experienced negative family${\rightarrow}$work spillover than wife in parent-child relations, wife more experienced negative family${\rightarrow}$work spillover than husband in home management domains.

  • The purpose of this study was to describe the levels of market goods substitution of housework and find out the determinants on it in the domain of food among married female home-based workers. The data were collected from 169 married female home-based workers in Pusan and Kyungnam province, by self-administered questionnaires. Frequencies, percentiles, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. In the convenience foods, frozen foods had the highest substitution level, whereas prepared stew had the lowest. The substitution level of Korean traditional storage foods was the middle. And in dining-out service, the substitution level was mostly high: the level of delivery service was higher than that of dining-out. Compared to the previous research, these results showed that market goods substitution tended to increase, and its level in the domain of food will promote continually over time. The variables affecting the substitution level of convenience food were the number of family members, occupation, the existence of elderly/disabled person in the family, sex-role attitude, and weekly hours at home-based work. The substitution level of Korean traditional storage foods was influenced by sex-role attitude, occupation, education, monthly household income, and the existence of elderly/disabled person in the family. The significant variables affecting the substitution level of dining-out service were weekly hours at home-based work, the number of family members, occupation, monthly household income, education, and sex-role attitude.

  • This paper explains the design and implementation of the FDA(Fault Detection Agent). FDA is a system that is suitable for detecting software error for multimedia distance education based on home network environment. This system consists of an ED, and ES. ED is an agent that detects an error by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on home network environment. ES is an agent that is an error sharing system for multimedia distance education based on home network environment. From the perspective of multimedia collaborative environment, an error application becomes another interactive presentation error is shared with participants engaged in a cooperative work. Performance analysis is done by Comparison of Hooking with Snatching Method.

  • Home security has become the prime concern for everyone in present scenario. In this work an attempt has been made to develop a home security system which is accessible, affordable and yet effective. The proposed system is based on 'Remote Embedded Control System' (RECS) which works both on the web and gsm platform for authentication and monitoring. This system is therefore cost effective as it relies on existing network infrastructure. As PCA is most popular and efficient algorithm for face recognition, it has been usedin this work. Next to it an interface has been developed for communication purpose in the embedded security system through the ZigBee module. Based on this embedded system, automated control of door movement has been implemented through electromagnetic door lock technology. This helps the users to monitor the real-time activities through web services/SMS. The web service consists of either web browser command or e-mail provision. The system establishes the communication between the system and authenticated user. The e-mail received by the system from the authorized person will monitor and control the real-time operation and door lock. The entire control system is reinforced using ARM1176JZF-S microcontroller and tested for actual use in the home environment. The result shows the experimental verification of the proposed system.

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze the market-labor participation of married women and their demand for an additional child, The theories from 'Economics of Fertility' by Willis and Bekerian 'Household Production Model' were applied to develop the theoretical model. For the empirical analysis National Data for Fetility in Korea was used, Even though the model was fully developed based on economic theories only the pasychological or value-related variables were appeared to be statistically significant. That means in Korea the decision-making for market work and fertility are still following the traditional way as it is.

  • This paper presents a case study in which a lesson was designed and applied to enhance preservice home economics teachers' instructional design competence using the metaverse. For 15 weeks from March 6 to June 14, 14 students enrolled on the course 'Multimedia Home Economics Education' for preservice home economics teachers used the metaverse to engage in problem-based learning to solve instructional design problems in home economics classes. In accordance with the ADDIE design model, in the analysis stage, we assessed preservice home economics teachers' level of knowledge of lessons using the metaverse, and their perceptions of the possibility, necessity, and usefulness of using the metaverse in home economics lessons. In the design and development stage, lesson plans, questions for problem-based learning, assessment tools, and teaching and learning materials were developed. The implementation was conducted in parallel with training on understanding multimedia and the metaverse, and instructional design competence was evaluated through pre- and post-testing and reflection journals. The results revealed that the preservice home economics teachers acquired a good understanding of lessons using the metaverse, learned how to design lessons for self-directed learning by applying the metaverse to their home and classroom, and gained confidence in applying it to their teaching practice or in-service work. It is expected that the results of this study will be used as support materials for prospective and current home economics teachers to design home economics lessons using the metaverse, thereby expanding the horizons of home economics education.
