Background: Self-checked monitoring home exercises are recommended for preventing falls among people with Parkinson's disease. However, as these home exercises are performed autonomously by patients without professional management, their accuracy and efficiency can be compromised. Objective: To investigate the effects of providing regular training sessions to patients and caregivers and of patient self-monitoring of exercise performance following the implementation of a self-checked monitoring exercise program for people with Parkinson's disease. Design: Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Methods: We provided regular self-checked monitoring home exercise and general home exercise programs to 30 participants for 12 weeks. Once a month at the first, fifth, and ninth-week sessions, a rehabilitation team attended the Parkinson's group education. In addition to the subject in the experimental group perform the home exercises program to provide feedback regarding the home exercises program and to carry out a self-monitoring checklist performance for 12 weeks. Results: The 10 m walk test, functional reach test, and sit to stand test and the modified Barthel index significantly improved in the self-checked monitoring home exercise group. Conclusion: These results suggest that self-checked home exercise programs, which facilitate safety and consistent performance of exercises at home, are beneficial for people with Parkinson's disease.

For home networking system with a function of air quality monitoring, a wireless sensor module with several air quality monitoring sensors was developed for indoor environment monitoring system in home networking. The module has various enlargements for various kinds of sensors such as humidity sensor, temperature sensor, CO2 sensor, flying dust sensor, and etc. The developed wireless module is very convenient to be installed on the wall of a room or office, and the sensors in the module can be easily replaced due to well designed module structure and RF connection method. To reduce the system cost, only one RF transmission block was used for sensors' signal transmission to 8051 microcontroller board in time sharing method. In this home networking system, various indoor environmental parameters could be monitored in real time from RF wireless sensor module. Indoor vision was transferred to client PC or PDA from surveillance camera installed indoor or desired site. Web server using Oracle DB was used for saving the visions by web-camera and various data from wireless sensor module.

본 논문에서는 아두이노 기반의 효율적인 홈 시큐리티 모니터링 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 홈 시큐리티 모니터링 시스템은 비교적 가격이 저렴한 메인 프로세서인 아두이노와 초음파 센서, 인체 감지 센서를 이용하여 침입여부를 판단하도록 홈 시큐리티 시스템을 구성하였고, 초음파 센서와 인체 감지 센서의 데이터는 아두이노에 연결된 이더넷 쉴드를 통해 웹 서버로 전송하도록 설계하였다. 그리고 웹 서버에서는 저장된 초음파 센서와 인체 감지 센서 데이터를 이용하여 침입여부를 확인하고, JQuery를 이용하여 연결되어 있는 웹캠으로 스냅 샷을 촬영하도록 하였으며, 촬영 된 스냅 샷은 웹 서버에 이미지 파일로 저장되며, HTML5와 CSS, Canvas를 사용하여 사용자는 웹 또는 스마트 디바이스 환경에서 모니터링이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 제안된 홈 시큐리티 모니터링 시스템을 실제 구현함으로서 효율성 검증 결과 기존 홈 시큐리티 시스템에 비해 구성이 쉬워 도면을 보고 쉽게 제작이 가능하였으며, 아두이노를 이용하여 구성과 설치비에 대한 가성비가 뛰어났고, 개인이 오류에 대한 직접적인 대처가 가능해 비용에 대한 효율성과 편리성을 입증하였으며, 신뢰도 높은 데이터를 이용하여 안정적인 시스템 운영이 가능하였다.

본 논문에서는 라즈베리 파이2 기반의 스마트 홈 시큐리티 모니터링 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 스마트 홈 시큐리티 모니터링 시스템은 비교적 다루기 쉬운 메인 프로세서인 라즈베리 파이2와 초음파 센서, 인체 감지 센서를 이용하여 침입 여부를 판단하도록 스마트 홈 시큐리티를 구성하였다. 또한, 침입자의 영상을 촬영하기 위해 라즈베리 파이2에 호환 되는 파이 카메라를 서보 모터에 연결하여 침입자의 위치에 맞는 촬영을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 웹 서버는 해당 기록된 영상과 센서들의 데이터를 저장하고 모든 원격지에서 모니터링이 가능하도록 웹 페이지를 제공한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 스마트 홈 시큐리티 모니터링 시스템을 실제 구현함으로써 효율성 검증 결과 기존 홈 시큐리티 시스템에 비해 개인이 쉽게 구성이 가능하였으며, 서보 모터를 이용하여 카메라의 사각지대를 최소화 할 수 있었다. 또한, 초음파 센서와 인체 감지 센서를 이용함으로써 침입자 판별에 신뢰도 높은 데이터를 얻을 수 있었기 때문에 안정적인 시스템 운영이 가능하였다.

A smart home system improves the elderly's quality of life by monitoring and analyzing their movements and health conditions with better health-care and social support services. Therefore, there has been an effort to adopt a smart home system for the independently living elderly. However, to the best of our knowledge, no study has investigated the usability of a smart home system on actual independently living elderly housing in long-term settings. Thus, this study aims to demonstrate the usability of a smart home system on independently living elders in living lab conditions. The BLE smart band and the BLE receiver were chosen for the smart home system to monitor the movement of the participants in their homes as well as to monitor the heart rates, step counts, sleep index. Nine independent living elderly from the senior welfare center in Kimjae participated in this living lab demonstration experiment for ten months. This demonstration experiment confirmed the effectiveness of low-cost and easily adoptable IoT-based BLE sensor sets on independent living elders and discussed the troubles and limitations of the experiment. By grasping the pros and cons of IoT-based BLE sensor sets, this study seeks to improve the accessibility and usability of smart home systems for the elderly population in independent living arrangements.

Network industry is complex combined with various fields of industry, such as communication, broadcast, construction, and home appliances. Moreover, it's fairly lucrative since the growth industry makes lots of added values, interacting with the others. The network industry, usually called 'Ubiquitous', connects some home appliances and makes an integrated system that you can use them with whenever and wherever. A demand for network security, however, has skyrocketed due to the relatively low safety. It's been expected that the market of home security is going to be grown up nearly 30 percent every year. Recently, analog surveilance cameras have been replaced with digital ones, and they will be providing stronger security services taking advantage of mutual interaction with related industies. In this paper, a mobile monitoring system for home security is proposed, which makes it possible to supervise all home appliances wherever you're, using the conventional wired/wireless network infra.

32비트 RISC 프로세서인 PXA255기반 보드에 임베디드 리눅스 운영체제와 HTTP(Hyperfext Transfer Protocol) 웹서버를 포팅하여 사용자의 웹 브라우져 상에서 원격지 가택에 대한 실시간 감시가 가능한 시스템을 구현하였다. 웹 서버는 GoAhead 웹 서버2.1 버전을 교차 컴파일하여 사용하였으며 가택감시를 위한 아날로그 신호에 대한 입력을 프로세서가 받기 위해 ADC(Analog to Digital Convertor)칩인 ADC0809를 사용하였다 ADC를 위한 디바이스 드라이버를 작성하였으며 이를 웹 브라우져 상에서 실시간적으로 변하는 데이터를 모니터링하기위해 클라이언트 풀(Clieilt Pull)방식을 사용한 CGI-C 응용프로그램을 개발하였다. 감시가 가능한 요소로는 온도, 조도 그리고 가스 유출여부이며 가스 밸브와 현관문의 개폐상태를 확인할 수 있게 하였고 긴급 상황 발생시 경고음을 발생하도록 하였다 최근 홈 디지털 서비스 중에 사용자가 가장 필요로 하는 긴급 상황에 대한 감시 요구를 내장형 시스템을 사용하여 보다 적은비용으로 구현하였다.

The effects of material monitoring and information sources of maternal knowledge on externalizing and internalizing behaviors of adolescents were examined with a sample of 323 ninth-grade middle school students(163 boys and 160 girls) and their mothers. Data were collected using questionnaires regarding maternal monitoring, information sources of maternal knowledge, and externalizing and internalizing behaviors of adolescents. The major findings were that 1) unemployed mothers showed more monitoring than employed mothers; 2) mothers perceived that girls showed more self-disclosure and were more controlled by them than boys; 3) girls showed more internalizing behavior than boys; 4) the more adolescents were monitored by their mothers, the less internalizing behavior they showed; 5) the more maternal solicitation was used, the more externalizing behavior girls showed; 6) adolescents showed the least externalizing behavior when maternal monitoring was highly perceived by both mothers and adolescents. And perception of maternal monitoring by adolescents themselves plays an important role in showing less externalizing behavior.

Powerline communication is the data signal which is modulated by carrier frequency through the installed powerline at in-home or office is transmitted and received signals are separated into data signal with using band-pass filter which cent-frequency is carrier frequency. The home gateway, an equipment which works as an gateway for ubiquitous home network, relays all functions of a home network. The home gateway must always be connected in order to provide seamless services. However it gives unfavorable power consumption. Therefore the needs for working in maximum power saving mode while there is no data traffic and for invoking to the normal function when it is necessary. So, in this paper we survey the development of low power PLC modem monitoring of power consumption and breaking abnormal power in the home Network.

홈 모니터링 기술이 발전함에 따라 편안한 거주공간에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 아울러 모바일 분야의 급성장으로 고성능 스마트폰의 보급과 함께 이들을 단말기로 활용할 수 있는 사례도 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 아두이노와 스마트폰을 이용하여 홈 상태를 모니터링하고 제어할 수 있는 시스템의 설계 및 구현을 제안한다. 홈 내에 다양한 센서를 구성하여 센서를 통해 환경 정보를 수집하고 수집한 정보를 바탕으로 제어할 수 있도록 한다. 제안한 시스템에서는 스마트폰의 블루투스 통신 기능을 활용하여 센서 데이터를 수집하고 각종 제어 신호를 보낼 수 있도록 하였다.
