  • Although computer games seem to be efficient tools for facilitating and supporting situated learning in Europe, GBL(game based learning) is less likely in Korea. The objectives of this paper are to address the causes of the problem and evaluate a serious game for history GBL. We review various cases of history GBL projects in European School Net, commercial games and serious games which are related to history. We draw a demand of our game's structural type, learning criterion, basic model of instruction, and executable prototype from the analysis results. Scene management educators pursue and dependencies of turning points in the history are critical differentiator. An evaluation team of educators, learners, and edu-game managers evaluates that the prototype is suitable model for application in history instruction.

  • At present, educational serious games which are designed for educational purpose including funny element have been developed in korea. This paper proposes a history educational game and describes how to make history educational game using OGRE engine. The OGRE engine is public, and widely used in many universities. Methods of the proposed game's development include development environment, desired plan, game scenario, game interface, method to cooperate with physics engine and so on. The proposed game is played in performing a mission that is based on historical event of our country in itself. And discrimination of the proposed game is to set a quest with actual historical events, in order to learn history beyond the simple fun in the existing history educational games. This paper should be helpful to discrimination of history educational serious game and developers to create history educational serious game with OGRE engine.

  • The relations between the two countries, Korea and Japan, are growing worse because of the matter of distorting korean history, absurd remark for aggressive war, and claiming Dokdo by Japan. At the point of time, I research the distorted instances of Korean history in Japanese game. The distorted instances of Korean history in game are existed in any countries' game such as China and the West; however, Japanese game takes distorted instances too far. Teenagers in the interior of a country and people from other countries easily access the distorted game because of the development of Internet and promoted cultural exchange among nations so it is necessary that systematic countermeasure should be set.

  • Black-out Game(Lightout, Merlin Game, ${\sigma}$+Game) is an interesting game on the chessboard, when you click a button with black or white color, it changes color of itself and other buttons who shares edges. With this rule, we win the game when we have a chessboard with all same color after we click some of the buttons of it. Pretty much of research has been made on founding the winnable strategy for this type of game. In this paper, we first introduce a history of mathematical modeling on this game. Then we develop an algorithm to offer a winnable blackout game of any size. Our tools also show our new algorithm works. Finally, we show how we can use this game in mathematics education.

  • In this paper, we suggest a game system that can support network modules for multi-platform based video games, and built a system that can convert from a single-user game to multi-user game. In this system, we bring in an initial delay buffering scheme on clients to handle any periods of latency occurring from the load fluctuation in a network, when a real-time game is played, and shows that stable play for a game is achieved as the result of the scheme. This paper also presents a retransmission algorithm based on the history of game commands to handle drawbacks of UDP mechanism. And, we evaluate the network delay and packet loss using the simulation tool NS2, and shows the case of 0.3 second buffer delay is the most suitable for recovery.

  • In this paper, we suggest a network game system that can support video game based on multi-platform for multi-user video game, Latency occurring from the load fluctuation in realtime network game is overcomed by using an initial delay buffering scheme on client, when a real-fire game is played, and shows that stable play for a game is achieved as the result of the scheme. Also, We suggest a retransmission algorithm based on the history of game commands, and this Algorithm supplement shortcomings for packet loss and pocket error on UDP communication.

  • Recently, the historical displeasure of celebrities caused a problem that the people were scolded by the people. On the other hand, people's historical consciousness is rising for a series of broadcasts organized by a famous entertainment program. We are now in the idea of our country people like this in history when history will not be left unsaid thing about realism. Inmates because there is a powerful force that is, that media is the 'immersion' players are interested more in the game, it is important to do it. Therefore, the history of games are made based on players to attract attention and interest or historical fact and to make a feature of the game and character.Does not occur to production. So correct history can have a sense of history the players are in fact this study, based on the development called an 'the mythology of the millennium' in 'hq team', manufactured. Choose the game. Scenario is based on thorough historical facts of the game 'the mythology of the millennium' authority order to conduct verification of the historians made it. These production process to appear in the game 'King Gwanggaeto,', 'Geunchogo of Baekje' and 'muyeorwang' design and comparative analysis to the historical facts.

  • Parrondo paradox is the counter-intuitive phenomenon where two losing games can be combined to win or two winning games can be combined to lose. In this paper, we consider an ensemble of players, one of whom is chosen randomly to play game A' or game B. In game A', the randomly chosen player transfers one unit of his capital to another randomly selected player. In game B, the player plays the history-dependent Parrondo game in which the winning probability of the present trial depends on the results of the last two trials in the past. We show that Parrondo paradox exists in this redistribution model of the history-dependent Parrondo game.

  • This study estimated direct factors that have effect to completion degree of game, and we constructs structural equation model that can evaluate completion degree of game using empirical analysis. For it, we obtained weight of components of game development by eigenvector method for analytic hierarchy process. Using calculated weight, we also let that components of game development is observating variable of X, and genre of game is observating variable of Y. And we constructs structural equation model with LISREL program

  • Current video games and game room games are played as a single player mode on the basis of various emulators. With the evolution of data communications and game technology, a new trend in the game industry has made the primary interests of game developers and companies in the game industry be moved toward a multiplayer mode from the traditional single player mode. In this paper, we represent how to implement a network game platform by allowing network modules to be run in conjunction with the current video emulator games. It also suggests a synchronization scheme for real-time game playout and practical mechanism that can support network games to be played with the Peer-to-Peer process using a lobby system.
