It is almost impossible to secure the reproductibility and stability of a commercial Thick-Film Metal Oxide Semiconductor Gas Sensor since it is very difficult to keep the consistency of the manufacturing environment. Thus it is widely known that the general Semiconductor-Oxide Gas Sensors are not appropriate for precise measurement systems. In this paper, the output characteristic analyzer of the various Thick-Film Metal Oxide Semiconductor Gas Sensors that are used to recognize the air quality within an automobile are proposed and examined. The analyzed output characters in a normal air chamber are grouped by sensor ranks and used to fill out the characteristic table of the Thick-Film Metal Oxide Semiconductor Gas Sensors. The characteristic table is used to determine the rank of the sensor that is equipped in the current air cleaner system of an automobile. The proposed air control system can also adapt the on-demand operation that recognizes the history of the passenger's manual-control.

The L.A. riots, which happened during three days from April 29 to May 1, 1992, are viewed as the most deadly and destructive riots in American history. Depicted in blaring front-page headlines and violent pictures on television, this urban upheaval received epic exposure in many countries. In Korea, it was especially shocking due to the viewpoint that highlighted the conflict between Korean and African Americans. This paper aims to review the black-Korean conflict during the 1992 L.A. riots in a Korean movie, Western Avenue. It is a film that narrates the despair of Korean Americans in the context of the L.A. riots, while placing American ideologies on trial. It is the only feature-length film to portray the story of Korean Americans in the L.A. riots. This paper examines some of the factors that resulted from the 1992 L.A. riots before the discussion of Western Avenue. Then, the paper analyzes the story of the Korean American in the film, focusing on how this film deals with the black-Korean conflict during the 1992 L.A. riots.

In the history of cinema, Sergei Eisenstein is always considered as a pioneer to conceive of cinema primarily as a form of expressing thought rather than as a representation of reality. For him, montage is the indispensable method to construct an open totality of thought and image in movement. It functions as a basic thread running through two poles of filmic composition, that is, the organic and the pathetic. The organic is concerned with the composition of the film structure as a whole, while the pathetic is involved in an ongoing process of registering a leaping point in various filmic sequences. The ultimate goal of montage for Eisenstein is to create the cinema of ideas which can synthesize both emotional and intellectual elements in the filmic composition. In his system of intellectual cinema, the identity of image and thought externalizes the sensory-motor unity of nature and man along the ascending spiral of centrifugal force of the film. Indeed, in both theory and practice, Eisenstein firmly argues that nature not only provides basic laws for the organic composition of the film, but also expresses itself in the form of the whole which brings out the experience of totality in the film text, the audience, and surely Eisenstein himself.

2000년대 들어 한국영화는 천만 관객 동원과 한국형 블록버스터의 성공에 힘입어 산업적인 성장세를 이어가고 있다. 영화의 소재로 남북한 분단 이데올로기뿐만 아니라 역사, 정치, 사회문제 등의 다양한 소재가 다루어지며 실화를 바탕으로 한 영화도 인기를 끌었다. 이에 따라 영화산업의 외형적 규모도 점점 더 확대되고 있다. 이러한 배경에는 다양한 원인이 존재할 것이다. 그 중에서도 한국 상업영화의 발전은 문화소비로서의 대중문화 속성과 다양한 대중의 속성을 파악하여 만든 웰 메이드(well made)영화 그리고 이에 적극적으로 반응하는 미디어적 현상이 주원인일 것이다. 한국 대중영화가 영화 시장에서 확고한 위치를 점하며 자연스럽게 미디어 매체의 관심을 받게 되면서 많은 담론들이 생성되고 있다. 또한 대중영화의 파급력을 인지한 미디어 매체와 소셜 미디어의 영향력은 사회 정치적으로 변화를 이끌기도 하지만 이데올로기의 논란으로 이어지기도 한다. 왜냐하면 대중문화 연구와 관련된 이데올로기적 의미는 의식적 혹은 무의식적이거나 작가(예술가) 자신의 의도와는 관계없이, 언제나 세상에 대한 특정한 이미지를 재현하거나 표현하기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문은 우선적으로 1990년대 말부터 한국영화가 대중영화로 확고히 자리 잡을 수 있었던 요인과 계기에 대한 논의를 검토하였다. 그런 다음, 2000년대 들어서 더욱 빈번한 정치, 사회, 역사에 대한 수많은 담론들을 형성한 대중영화와 미디어 그리고 소셜 미디어의 관계에 대해 고찰하였다. 이러한 흐름의 논의는 대중영화의 폭과 변화를 이해하는데 도움을 줄 것이다. 또한 편향적인 미디어의 홍수 속에서 사회 정치적인 영화보기나 읽기란 무엇인가에 대해서도 자문하는 계기가 될 것이다.

The essay explores the narrative structure of the classical Chinese feature animation, (a.k.a. Da Nao Tian Gong, 1964). The film is presented with a modular structure which is quite unique compared with the storytelling in feature animated films from other cultures, but could be connected with the tradition narrative structure in Chinese Zhanghui style novels in Ming and Qing Dynasty. By relating the original text of the story, the 16th century novel Journey to the West (a.k.a. Xi You Ji), with the film , the essay addresses the question of how the narrative tradition in Chinese classical literature influenced the Uproar in Heave for its segment narrative structure, character driven storytelling strategy and mirrored repetitive 2 plot lines. The subject of this essay is even more significant after the restored 3D version of was re-released in the spring of 2012 and became one of the best-selling animated feature film in the history of the country.

오늘날 미술관에서 멀티스크린 기반의 영상설치 작품을 접하는 것은 어려운 일이 아니다. 이와 관련해 갤러리 영화, 전시의 영화, 다른 영화 등과 같은 용어와 담론들이 있다. 본고에서는 최근 많이 사용되는 '아티스트 시네마'라는 용어를 사용 한다. '아티스트 시네마'를 영화이론(Film Theory)과 미술사(Art History)의 맥락이 교차하는 지점에 두고, '아티스트 시네마'가 경유하는 영화적 요소들과 현대 미술적 요소들을 엘리자-리사 아틸라의 <상담 서비스>(1999)를 통해 분석한다. 분석의 단계는 첫째, 내러티브를 구성하는 '프레임 안의 내용', 둘째, 영상 설치 작품을 구성하는 오브제와 작품이 놓인 미술관이라는 '프레임 밖의 맥락', 셋째, 관람자의 시간적, 공간적 경험이다. 이를 통해 '아티스트 시네마'와 미술관이라는 시스템이 가지는 비평의 지점에 관해 생각해 보고자 한다.

In this study, temperature profile of the fly ash concrete were studied in accordance with the change of heating curing method combination for the slab concrete in order to develop efficient protection method of the concrete subjected to $-20^{\circ}C$. The slab concretes with the size of $1200mm{\times}600mm{\times}200mm$ were fabricated with W/B of 50% and exposed to $-20^{\circ}C$ for 7 days. Five different combinations of heat curing methods were applied to the slab concrete specimen; two combinations of heat supplying by electrical heater and surface heat insulation material such as polyethylene film and quadrupled layer bubble sheet based on heat enclosure installment; three combinations of heating coil embedment and surface heat insulation materials such as polyethylene film, sawdust and quadrupled layer bubble sheet based on heat enclosure installment. Test results showed that by applying both heating coil and bubble sheet and heat enclosure, the concrete exposed to $-20^{\circ}C$ can be effectively protected from early-age frost damage.

본고는 곽지균 감독의 <두 여자의 집>(1987)을 중심으로 그의 작품 세계를 관통하는 우울과 죽음의 정서가 1980년대 후반 한국 멜로드라마 영화의 제작 양상을 어떻게 변화시켰는지 고찰해 보고자 한다. 곽지균은 1980년대 후반에 등장한 한국 뉴 센티멘털리즘 영화의 기수라 할 만한 대표적 멜로드라마 작가이다. 뉴 센티멘털리즘 영화는 이전까지의 한국 멜로드라마 영화를 완전히 지배했던 신파성으로부터 거리를 두고 한국영화의 과잉된 감정으로부터 벗어난 세련된 멜로드라마를 지향한다. 이러한 감정적 정교함은 죽음을 통한 이별로 인해 생기는 영화 속 인물들의 상실감이나 우울과 직결된다. 곽지균의 <두 여자의 집>은 이러한 뉴 센티멘털리즘 영화의 죽음 충동과 상실감을 예술적으로 승화시키려 고군분투하는 예술가들의 내적 갈등을 다루고 있다. 본고는 <두 여자의 집>의 텍스트 분석을 통해 곽지균의 영화세계와 뉴 센티멘털리즘의 영화사적 위상을 재고해 볼 것이다.

시대정신을 함유하고 사회와 역사를 통해 인간을 고찰하며 삶과 현 세대를 자각케 하는 예술적 완성도가 높은 영화의 구성과 상징표현 그리고 스타일 등을 분석하여 그 내적 의미와 철학의 표현을 분석하는 것은 대중예술로서 영화에 있어 매우 뜻 깊으며 가치 있는 연구 일 것이다. 영화 로마는 절제하고 감추고 생략함으로써 대중들의 마음 속 빈틈을 파고들고 절제되었으며, 흑백영화로써 색감도 감췄다. 인종, 자본, 사회적으로 억압된 역사와 가정부로 살아가는 일상의 아이러니한 메시지를 표현하는 상징적 이미지를 통한 미학적 시도를 많이 발견할 수 있다. 많은 대조를 통한 상징적 표현과 사물을 통한 상징적 표현을 영화 속에 그려내며 자신만의 작가주의적인 영상언어를 구사하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 예술적 가치를 함유한 상업 영화의 분석은 예술영화의 나아갈 바에 대한 척도와 작가주의적 표현기법의 선례로 향후 작품 제작에 있어 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.
