  • 본 논문에서는 국제 수학올림피아드(IMO)에서 최상위 그룹에 속해있는 한국, 중국, 미국의 수학 영재교육의 실태를 비교 분석하고 이들 국가에서는 수학 영재교육을 위해 어떠한 측면을 강조하고 있는지 알아본다. 또 최근의 국제 수학올림피아드(IMO)와 수학 과학 성취도 추이변화 국제비교연구(TIMSS)의 결과를 통해서 앞으로의 우리나라 수학 영재교육이 나아갈 방향을 알아본다.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore characteristics of natural history museum exhibits from the viewpoint of science education. A total of ninety exhibits for this study were examined in national science museums of Korea and Japan. Exhibits of Tokyo national science museum were again divided into two groups: the old and traditional types, and the new and renovated ones. Even though analyzing data was not undertaken through quantitative statistical process, the interpretation of the data was valid enough to fulfill the purpose of the research. While there were clear changes and differences between the old and the new types of exhibits in Tokyo national science museum, the old part of Tokyo museum was similar to one in Korea. Based on analyzing the new types of Tokyo museum, the current movement in the field of natural history museums of Korea explicitly has toward utilizing more science education concepts and ideas.

개방법(開方法)과 좌표축(座標軸)의 평행이동(平行移動) (Kaifangfa and Translation of Coordinate Axes)

  • Since ancient civilization, solving equations has become one of the most important subjects in mathematics and mathematics education. The extractions of square roots and cube roots were first dealt in Jiuzhang Suanshu in the setting of subdivisions. Extending these, Shisuo Kaifangfa and Zengcheng Kaifangfa were introduced in the 11th century and the subsequent development became one of the most important contributions to mathematics in the East Asian mathematics. The translation of coordinate axes plays an important role in school mathematics. Connecting the translation and Kaifangfa, we find strong didactical implications for improving students' understanding the history of Kaifangfa together with the translation itself although the latter is irrelevant to the former's historical development.

수학사를 활용한 중학교 방정식에서 학생의 수학화 (Student's Mathematization of Equations in the Middle School Using the History of Mathematics)

  • This research was to understand the features of mathematization and didactical phenomenology, in a way that was not a routine calculation of equation, rather a complete comprehension by the reinventing historical principles of the equation. To achieve the purpose of this study, one-mate middle school student participated in the study. Interview and observation were used for collecting data during the student's performance. The results of research were: First, the student understood the mathematical concepts from a real life and developed the abstract concepts from it, which were very intimately related with his life. Second, the skill and formula definition were accomplished with the accompanying predicted and consequently derived mathematical concepts. Third, through the approach of using the history of mathematics, he became more interested in what he was doing and took lessons with confidence. Forth, the student performed his learning based on the historical reinventing principle under the proper guidance of a teacher.

국제적(國際的) 건축(建築) 전문교육(專門敎育) 인증기준(認證基準)에서 본 한국(韓國) 건축교육(建築敎育)의 현황분석(現況分析) (A Critical Analysis on the Architectural Education in Korea from the view of International Accrediting Criteria)

  • Under the WTO system, global standardization of professionalism in architecture practice calls for transformation of curriculum in architectural education in Korea. This paper compares the curriculum standards of international accrediting authorities such as NAAB and RIBA based on UIA accord which defines fundamental knowledge and abilities of an architect. As a result this paper extracts 51 achievement oriented criteria of architectural education in Korea. It can be categorized as communication, design, cultural context(history and theory, human behavior and social aspects), technical systems(structural systems, environmental control systems, construction material and assemblies) and practice(project process, project economics and business management, laws and regulations). Based on this recommended Korean curriculum standards, current curriculum is analyzed focusing on the 5 architectural programs in Seoul. Through this analysis, it became clear that some area - social and economic aspects in architecture, sustainability in architecture, understanding and selection of construction material, assemblies and environmental control system, recycling of existing building, professional liability, professional rules of conduct, project economics and project management - need to be covered and emphasized to meet the international standards in professional education in architecture. The result in this paper will be used as a basic data in the process of finding the direction of restructuring curriculum for professional architectural education in Korea.

한의학교육에서 통합교육과정의 도입과 운영을 위한 고려 사항 (Considerations for the Introduction and Operation of an Integrated Curriculum in Traditional Korean Medicine Education)

  • This study considers the stages of curriculum development for the integrated curriculum of Pusan National University Graduate School & Hospital of Korean Medicine, and specifically the KAS2021 (announced in 2019), improvement measures for the curriculum of the College of Traditional Korean Medicine, and the case of the College of Medicine. The introduction of integrated curriculum in the College of Traditional Korean Medicine starts from the members (doers)' agreement. In the process of development, the organization that represents the members, the organization that sets up a goal and designs the curriculum, and the organization that executes them should fulfill their own roles. The stage of development and operation should have the support system for manpower, institution, administration, and finance. The curriculum (draft) should be concrete enough to be operated in reality. For the smooth operation of integrated education, it is necessary to secure more full-time teachers than before, and it is also necessary to have an organization fully in charge of monitoring and improving the operation. For the introduction and operation of integrated curriculum in Traditional Korean Medicine education, the members' agreement, institutional change, support system, and the cultivation of manpower for the operation/evaluation/development of curriculum should be considered.

개화기이후 가정과교육의 사적 고찰 - 1900~1945년을 중심으로 - (A Brief History of Home Economics Education after Modern Period (GAEWHA-KI) - (1900~1945))

  • Brief history of home economics education after modern period (GAEWHA-KI) (1900~1945). Education of home economics in our country is known to have been developed mainly through school education by need of women education. The first period is construed "from 1890's until before the conclusion of ULSABOHO treaty, which can be referred to as an inception of the education for home economics by including subjects of sewing and manual arts in the curriculum of EWHA-hakang. The second period is "from the conclusion of ULSABOHO treaty in 1905 until the act of higher education for women was decreed, transition of the education for home economics and major curriculum thereof and the text books of home economics are handled. The third period is "from the promulgation of CHOSUN education act in 1911 until the fall of Japan education of home economics in this period is described in terms of national education under the Japanese colonial rule. The education was first renewed by women missionaries with the onset of "blooming period (GAEWHA-KI)" and school education of home economics far educating women was initiated at EWHA-hakdang in 1896, in 1908, with the pronulgation of the act of higher education for women, major curriculum and subjects were set up and text books of home economics were also compiled. In accordance with CHOSUN education act in 1911, housekeeping and sewing subjects at secondary school were taught 10 hours a week with the emphasis on general education and practical subject oriented training. Home economics under the Japanese rule was so educated as to imbue, students with the sense of nationality by teaching Korean custom and family habits.

의사소통 중심의 수학사 기반 수업이 초등학생의 수학적 의사소통과 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Mathematical History-Based Mathematics Teaching on Mathematical Communication and Attitudes of Elementary Students)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 수학에 적용 가능한 수학사를 추출하고 이를 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 수업 모형을 개발하여, 수학사를 활용하는 수업 이 학생들의 수학적 의사소통과 수학적 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 이를 위해 실험집단에는 수학사를 활용한 수업을, 비교집단에는 교과서를 활용한 교사 중심적인 수업을 실시하였으며, 연구 중에 수집된 자료는 양적 분석과 질적 분석 방법을 병행하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 의사소통 중심의 수학사 기반 수학 수업은 학생들의 의사소통 참여도를 향상시키는 데에 도움을 주었으며, 둘째, 학생들이 수학적 논리를 가지고 자신의 의견을 상대방에게 정당화하게 하였다. 그러나, 수학사를 활용한 수학 수업이 학생들의 수학적 태도에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 가져왔다고 볼수는 없으나, 긍정 적 변화의 조짐을 질적으로 관찰할 수 있었다.

OGRE 엔진을 이용한 역사 교육용 기능성 게임 개발 (A Serious Game Development for Historical Education Using OGRE Engine)

  • 현재 국내에서는 교육적인 목적과 재미가 융합된 교육용 기능성 게임이 출시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 공개 엔진인 오우거 엔진을 이용한 역사 교육용 게임을 제안하고 이를 개발한다. 개발 방법에는 개발 환경, 기획 목적, 게임 시나리오, 게임 인터페이스, 물리엔진과 연동하는 방법 등이 포함된다. 제안된 게임은 역사를 바탕으로 한 미션을 수행하는 방법으로 진행된다. 제안 게임의 차별성은 기존 역사 게임에서의 단순 재미를 벗어나 역사적인 사건을 퀘스트로 설정하여 실지 역사를 배우는데 있다. 본 논문은 역사 교육용 기능성 게임의 차별화와 오우거 엔진을 이용하여 역사 교육용 기능성 게임을 제작하려는 개발자에게 도움이 된다.
