A Study on High Speed Playback of AR Contents based on Beacon RSSI Signals (무선 RSSI 신호 기반의 AR 콘텐츠 초고속 재생에 관한 연구)

  • AR service using the client-server method and existing physical markers(eg, OR Codes, etc.) causes a delay in the playback time of the contents because the contents download is executed after the marker recognition. In the case of the one-time installation method rather than the client-server method, proactive download of high-capacity contents for playback may cause an inefficiency of the storage space of the device(eg, smartphone, etc.). Therefore, in AR contents playback based on beacon's RSSI to secure the efficiency of the playback device storage space and to quickly play AR contents. The technique for high-speed playback in this study can be applied to various fields such as MICE exhibition using beacon signal.

  • If radio interference occurs or there is no navigation device, radio navigation of high-speed moving object becomes impossible. Nevertheless, if there are multiple ground stations and precise range measurement between the high-speed moving object and the ground station can be secured, it is possible to estimate the position of moving object. This paper proposes a position estimation method using high-precision TDOA measurement generated using TLM signal. In the proposed method, a common error of moving object is removed using the TDOA measurements. The measurements is generated based on TLM signal including SOQPSK PN symbol capable of precise timing synchronization. Therefore, since precise timing synchronization of the system has been performed, the timing error between ground stations has a very small value. This improved the position estimation performance by increasing the accuracy of the measured values. The proposed method is verified through software-based simulation, and the performance of estimated position satisfies the target performance.

  • In turning the chip may be produced in the form of continuous chip or discontinuous one. Continuous chips produced at high speed machining may hit the newly cut workpiece surface and adversely affect the appearance of the surface finish and may interfere with tool and sometimes induce tool fracture. In this study relationship between AE signal and chip form was experimentally investigated, The experimental results show that types of chip form are possible to be classified from the AE signal using fuzzy logic.

  • Due to the low loss, broadband and accurate short time delay properties of optical fiber, it has attracted as a delay medium for high speed and broad-band signal processing. In this paper, we consider the coherent optical fiber filter of IIR lattice structure, which uses coherent light sources and consists of directional couplers whose coupling coefficients are restricted between 0 and 1. Considering restrictions of directional coupler, the design formulae and condition for realibility of optical fiber filter of IIR lattice structure which makes the optimal use of optical signal energy are derived.

  • Dynamic response is an important consideration because of the possibility of resonance according to KTX running over a railway bridges. When KTX runs over the bridge at critical speed, dynamic response is very depending on damping ratio. Current damping ratio for design of high-speed railway bridges adopted EUROCODE without verification of domestic railway bridges. The purpose of this study is to obtain the coherent damping ratio of high-speed railway bridges. Free vibration signal after KTX runs over a high-speed railway bridge was applied. The representative value from distribution of damping ratio was considered.

  • This paper describes an image processing method for inspecting the surface outlook of high speed moving plates. Noise free image and a new real time processing methods are required to inspect the surface outlook of the high speed moving plates in real time. It is difficult to get a noise free image due to a signal noise, a light noise and background image in typical industrial factory. The railroad system consist of various subsystems - vehicle, power supply, signal, communications, track structures, operations, etc. Among them, as an item of safety evaluation there is a measurement of wheel/rail force, so called a measurement of derailment coefficient. This is a very important item because a derailment of a train will bring about a big accident. Especially it is more important in high speed rail of which operation speed is over two times as fast as existing rail. In this paper, it is introduced to preprocess the wheelset for measuring wheel/rail force of high speed rail, such as to treat a measuring wheelset, its finite element analysis, adhesion of strain gauges and static toad test, running test result of main line.

  • A Novel level-shifter circuit for Display Panel Driver is presented. A Proposed level-shifter is for the high speed and high-voltage driving capability. In order to achieve this purpose, the proposed level-shifter restricts and separates the Vgs of the output driver's pull-up PMOS and pull-down NMOS with Zener diode. And a speed-up PMOS transistor is introduced to reduce delay. The control signal of speed-up PMOS was designed by bootstrapping method to minimize the gate to source (Vgs) voltage to avoid Vgs breakdown.
