In this paper, a variety of digital image processing technique was applied to improve the quality of medical images which is a chest CR image. And the image quality was performed. On the other hand, the high-frequency emphasis filtering and the histogram equalization were realized by MATLAB programs to better the contrast of the chest CR image. As a result of simulation, the sharpness of the original image was elevated by the high-frequency emphasis filtering and the histogram equalization. To evaluate the degree which is improved the image quality by the digital image processing, the subjective evaluation is used by the observation of the image. The sensitivity which is the probability to find a signal or a lesion is calculated. The sensitivity of the image performed the high-frequency emphasis filtering and the histogram equalization became more improved than that of the original and the digital image processing performed in the medical image improved the quality of the image.
In order to supply power to online monitoring systems that are attached to high voltage catenary or overhead wires, a wireless power transfer system is required that is able to transmit power over the insulation gap. Such wireless power transfer systems have transmitter and receiver coils that have diameters of over 10cm. This paper focused on an investigation of the sources of loss in the coils when the coils are fabricated using printed circuit board technology. Using finite element simulation results, it has been shown that the dielectric loss in the substrate was the dominant source of the total loss. It has been demonstrated that the selection of a proper dielectric material was the most critical factor in reducing the loss. For further reduction of the loss, the distributed tuning capacitor method and the slotting of the inter-turn spaces have been proposed. For the evaluation of the proposed methods, four coils have been fabricated and their equivalent series resistances and quality factors were measured. Measured quality factors were greater than 300, which means that these devices will be helpful in achieving high coil-to-coil efficiency.
In this study, we investigate the effects of disclosure and high-quality audit on donations to charitable organizations in Korea. We find that the mandatory disclosure of financial information and high-quality audit is significantly and positively related to donations to charitable organizations. We also find that charitable organizations audited by Big 4 audit firms have greater likelihood to receive more donations, compared to those audited by non-Big 4 audit firms. Furthermore, we find that those positive associations are more pronounced for smaller charitable organizations. Collectively, those results imply that, as in the profit-making sector, disclosure and high-quality audit play a critical role in enhancing accountability and transparency of financial reporting and revenue for charitable organizations.
This study obtained significant results by analyzing 202 dental hygienists in Daegu and Gyeongbuk region with analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA analysis using the SPSS WIN 18.0 in order to investigate the fusion relationship between anger expression, stress elasticity, job satisfaction, and quality of life of dental hygienists. Anger expressions averaged 1.50, and was high hospital-level, job-motivated, non-self-esteemed, high income, alcohol consumption. Stress resilience was averaged 3.09, and was high when abstinence. Job satisfaction average 3.24, and was high when was pride, abstinence. Quality of life, stress resilience and job satisfaction were positively correlated. Stress resilience and job satisfaction are positively correlated. Overall, information provision and environmental support should be provided to increase job satisfaction and stress resilience in order to improve the quality of life of dental hygienists and reduce the expression of anger.

Self Organizing Map (SOM) was applied for pattern classification of hydrological and water quality data measured at Jangseong Reservoir on a monthly basis. The primary objective of the present study is to understand better data characteristics and relationship between the data. For the purpose, two SOMs were configured by a methodologically systematic approach with appropriate methods for data transformation, determination of map size and side lengths of the map. The SOMs constructed at the respective measurement stations for water quality data (JSD1 and JSD2) commonly classified the respective datasets into five clusters by Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI). The trained SOMs were fine-tuned by Ward's method of a hierarchical cluster analysis. On the one hand, the patterns with high values of standardized reference vectors for hydrological variables revealed the high possibility of eutrophication by TN or TP in the reservoir, in general. On the other hand, the clusters with low values of standardized reference vectors for hydrological variables showed the patterns with high COD concentration. In particular, Clsuter1 at JSD1 and Cluster5 at JSD2 represented the worst condition of water quality with high reference vectors for rainfall and storage in the reservoir. Consequently, SOM is applicable to identify the patterns of potential eutrophication in reservoirs according to the better understanding of data characteristics and their relationship.
This study investigates the effect of working hours on the dietary behaviors and dietary quality of male industrial workers employed in rotating shifts. The survey was conducted from February to March 2022, enrolling 209 male workers operating in rotational shifts at industries in the Chungcheongnam-do region. Eating behavior and health awareness were investigated during the morning shift, afternoon shift, and night shift for the same subjects. The shift timings were found to be associated with dietary behavior, which had an impact on the dietary quality of workers. Negative effects of shift timings on diet and health were also perceived by the shift workers. The frequency of alcohol consumption was high during the morning shift, and the frequency of night time snack intake was high during the afternoon shift. During the night shift, there was decreased vegetable intake and increased ramyeon intake. Compared to the morning shift, a significant decrease in dietary quality scores was found during the night shift. The workers recognized that rotating shift work negatively affected health, eating habits and sleep. There was a high demand for providing a variety of menus and healthy night snacks in the company cafeteria. When nutritional counseling and educational health services were provided, the willingness to participate was high. Therefore, to improve the health and dietary quality of shift workers, there is a need to provide diets suitable for the working environment and the characteristics, and to provide nutrition management services.

The laser inertial measurement unit is a precision device widely used in rocket navigation system and other equipment, and its quality is directly related to navigation accuracy. In the quality evaluation of laser inertial measurement unit, there is inevitably uncertainty in the index input information. First, the input numerical information is in interval form. Second, the index input grade and the quality evaluation result grade are given according to different national standards. So, it is a key step to transform the interval information input by the index into the data form consistent with the evaluation result grade. In the case of uncertain input, this paper puts forward a method based on probability distribution to solve the problem of asymmetry between the reference grade given by the index and the evaluation result grade when evaluating the quality of laser inertial measurement unit. By mapping the numerical relationship between the designated reference level and the evaluation reference level of the index information under different distributions, the index evidence symmetrical with the evaluation reference level is given. After the uncertain input information is transformed into evidence of interval degree distribution by this method, the information fusion of interval degree distribution evidence is carried out by interval evidential reasoning algorithm, and the evaluation result is obtained by projection covariance matrix adaptive evolution strategy optimization. Taking a five-meter redundant laser inertial measurement unit as an example, the applicability and effectiveness of this method are verified.
Background: This study analyzes the linear and non-linear effects of the hard and soft dimensions of job quality on the overall health of wage workers. It also examines the congruence or fit between the hard and soft job quality on the overall health of wage workers. Methods: This study measured thirty indicators that constitute job quality and reduced the indicators into twelve sub-dimensions of job quality using reflective factor analysis. In addition, this study derived two dimensions of job quality from the twelve subdimensions, namely the hard and soft job quality using formative factor analysis. This paper applied the response surface analysis to analyze the congruence effect between the two dimensions of job quality. Results: A logarithmic relationship was found between the dimension of hard job quality and the worker's overall health. This study also verified that the congruence effect between the two dimensions of job quality does not exist, and the combined effect of job quality is lower when the two dimensions of job quality are at the same level than the effect when either level of job quality is high or low. Conclusions: Although hard and soft job quality has independent positive effects on the overall health of wage workers, the two dimensions of job quality are not congruent or not in harmony with each other. This incongruence between hard and soft job quality, together with a higher impact of hard job quality, suggests that the role of soft job quality on overall health is relatively limited.
Since the competition of higher education is more and more critical, the improvement of educational services is importantly considered. Despite the current situations, there are few studies addressing the relationships between education service quality and its outcomes. As educational service quality plays a key role in improving student satisfaction, universities provides a high level of educational services for students and reinforce their competitiveness through student satisfaction. This research investigates the relationships among IT service quality, business education service quality, trust, student satisfaction and student loyalty. In so doing, the current study establishes a theoretical model to test the proposed relationships. The results further suggest that the indirect effect of the IT service quality and the business education service quality enhances its impact of student satisfaction, trust, student loyalty. Finally, the authors draw conclusions and further research directions.
