이소시아네이트 관능기 매개인자에 의한 화재 특성의 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study of Fire Characteristics by Isocyanate Functional Parameter)

  • 최근 ESS(전기저장장치)의 보급이 늘어나면서 ESS에 의한 지속적인 화재발생으로 인명 및 재산의 피해 또한 급증하고 있다. ESS에 활용되는 우레탄 샌드위치 패널에 제조에 있어 난연 성능의 향상이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 연질 폴리우레탄 폼의 난연 특성을 구현하고자 제품의 물성을 변화시키는 이소시아네이트 관능기 파라미터의 변화로 인한 제품의 조직 치밀도가 화재성능에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 우레탄 조직의 치밀도를 변화시켜가며 제품을 제작하여 연소성능 시험, 가스유해성 시험, 연기밀도 시험을 진행하였다. 그 결과 총 방출열량은 이소시아네이트 관능기 그룹이 높은 경우 성능이 우수하고, 최대 열 방출율과는 상관이 없는 것을 확인하였다. 이소시아네이트 관능기 그룹의 값이 2.7이상에서 형상의 붕괴를 방지할 수 있었다. 가스유해성 시험에서는 이소시아네이트 관능기 그룹이 상대적으로 높아 조직이 치밀하면서 탄화 막 형성이 용이한 Char시스템용 난연제가 추가적으로 투입되어야 성능이 상승하였고, 연기밀도 시험에서는 이소시아네이트 관능기 그룹의 값이 2.75이상에서 성능이 증가되는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과로 기존에 사용되던 저렴한 우레탄 샌드위치 패널을 대체할 난연제 개발에 기반을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

국내외 자전거용 의류 전문 브랜드의 상품색과 한국 소비자의 의류 선호색 비교 (Comparison between Color of Cycling Clothing Brands and Color Preference of Korean Consumers)

  • Cycling has become a popular leisure activity, and many cycling enthusiasts have used cycling clothes as a form of expression, which often comes in wide range of colors. The study shows the importance of color in cycling clothing to meet the emotional needs of consumers. Furthermore, this study aims to provide comparative analysis between color of domestic and overseas cycling clothing brands, and color preference of Korean consumers in order to provide data, which can be used in satisfying consumers' needs for personal expression and emotional demands. Thus, the study expects to identify consumers' satisfaction for cycling clothing. The consumers were categorized by the frequency of cycling and their interest in fashion, and the following categories were made:potential consumers, casual cyclists with low fashion involvement, casual cyclists with high fashion involvement and frequent cyclists with high fashion involvement. Consumers preferred dark colors for their cycling clothing including jacket, top and pants, while 'frequent cyclists with high fashion involvement' preferred more diverse colors and tones. In the cycling clothing market, white and black were major colors, while red, orange and blue were major colors of chromatic color. In terms of shade, dark shade dominated the market. Comparing between preferred color and preferred product color, black was preferred for both, but no other colors showed such tendency. This study is based on empirical analysis and verification of color, which is the emotional element appealing to specific and segmented sports-apparel market. The study revealed that the data could be applicable to the design of future products.

SNCM439재질의 전차용 엔진클러치 암플랜지 개발 (Development of Engine Clutch Female Flange for Tank Using SNCM439 Material)

  • Tanks are key weapons of ground combat that are equipped with powerful weapons and have strong protective bodies. One tank component, the engine clutch flange, is located in the part of the tank where the engine and transmission are installed, and it is a key part of the power transfer and shutoff. The engine clutch flange transmits high power to secure the mobility of the tank; thus, it must have high strength and hardness. In addition, high durability and safety must be ensured because tank operations must exclude concerns about damage. In this study, an engine clutch female flange for tanks made of SNCM439 was developed. The 2D design used AutoCAD programs, and the 3D shape design used CATIA programs. The structural analysis was conducted using ANSYS. The mesh grid has a tetrahedron shape and is created by adding a mid-side node. After the mechanical properties and constraints of SNCM439 were entered, the changes in the safety factor, total deformation, and Von-Mises stress were identified according to the increase in torque. Prototype processing was performed to verify the engine clutch female flange for the tank. To determine the productivity of the product, the cutting processing time was measured when processing the prototypes. Based on the results of measuring the cutting processing time, it is concluded that research is needed to improve productivity because MCT slot cutting processing is time consuming.

투습방수 직물을 사용한 기능성 아우터의 특성 분석 - 소재, 세탁·취급, 디자인, 패턴, 부자재, 봉제를 중심으로 - (Analysis of Characteristics of Functional Outers with Moisture-permeable Waterproof Fabric - Focus on Fabrics, Washing·Cares, Design, Patterns, Subsidiary Materials, and Sewing -)

  • This study investigated fabrics, washing and cares, design, pattern, subsidiary materials, and sewing methods with a focus on the functional outers using moisture-permeable waterproof fabric as a shell; in addition, each element was analyzed for differences depending on fabric type. The characteristics of 34 outers were investigated through labels, online product introductions, visual inspection, observations from two experts with more than 30 years experience and wear tests. Moisture-permeable waterproof fabrics used for the outer were classified into two types; in addition, the shell of the high-density fabric and the 2 & 3-layer fabrics had different characteristics. Various fabrics, detailed designs, and three-dimensional patterns suitable for each part of the human body were used to improve functionality. In addition, various subsidiary materials and sewing methods were used to form an organic relationship. The same washing and cares, patterns and subsidiary materials were used regardless of fabric type; however, the fabric type influenced the detailed design and sewing. The outers with high-density fabric had a loose fit, short placket, e-banded cuffs, lock-stitch, and lock-stitch+binding. However, the outer with 2 & 3 layer fabric had a slim fit, hood width adjustment, zippered pockets, cuffs with tab, seamless adhesive sewing such as laminating, lock-stitch+ seam-sealing, and welding.

Exploratory Study on the Success Factors of Rehabilitation Medical Device Cluster

  • Purpose - As Korea is reaching a post-aged society, the number of chronic illness is increasing, and the demand for rehabilitation medical device is growing. Although there is high potential for the growth in rehabilitation industry, because most of the related companies in Korea are relatively small, lacking capital or R&D resource, it is difficult for them to create an innovative product, and currently most of the high-tech equipments are imported. Therefore a medical device cluster, where business, research, medical institutes and universities may work cooperatively to enhance research development and solve issues is necessary for future development. Research design, data, methodology - In this method we have done a literature review of the rehabilitation industry and industrial cluster. Based on the studies, we have conducted an exploratory factor analysis by studying examples of foreign and domestic medical clusters and drawing success factors in forming a medical cluster. Next based on the studies we have conducted a survey to domestic medical device companies to find their difficulties and needs to form a successful medical device cluster. Results - This paper provides both theoretic review on success factors of forming a medical device cluster and practical analysis using case study and survey. Conclusion - The significance of this paper is that based on the literature review, we have compared actual examples of domestic/foreign medical clusters and drawn difference and coincidence between literature and actual cluster success factor. We were also able to conduct a survey on actual medical device companies and through the results we were able to search difficulties and necessities of medical device companies.

창업도약기업 제품개선훈련프로그램의 품질과 전반적 만족도가 현업적용의지에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Correlation Influences by the Quality of Product Pivoting Boot Camp and its level of Training Satisfaction on the Applying Will to Their Real Business of High-tech Ventures in the Early Stage of Growth)

  • 창업도약기업들의 특성을 살펴보면 창업초기상태를 계속적으로 벗어나지 못하고 있는 기업들이 상당히 차지하고 있음을 볼 수 있다, 이에 따라 정부에서는 성장의 동력을 제공하고 이를 기반으로 창업도약기업들의 성장을 촉진코자 노력을 하고 있다. 초기기업이 자신이 보유한 기술역량 중심으로 제품 및 솔루션 개발 후, 시장(고객)에 출시했지만 잘 안 팔릴 결과이고, 초기기업들이 지속적인 사업성장(성공사업)을 하게하기 위해 매력적인 목표고객이나 시장이 원하는 목소리를 반영하고, 이에 부합하는 자사의 핵심기술역량을 파악 및 확보하게 하여 경쟁자와는 차별적인 제품을 개발할 수 있는 역량과 플랫폼 제공이 필요할 수 있도록 설계한 제품개선훈련프로그램을 개발하고 운영하였다. 본 연구는 운영된 제품개발/개선 훈련프로그램의 효과성을 파악하기 위해서 참여자의 특성과 훈련프로그램의 특성에 따른 훈련프로그램의 전반적 만족도를 통해 현업적용의지와의 관계를 살펴보았다. 설문조사 대상은 2018년 1월에 창업도약패키지 후속지원사업인 제품개선 아카데미 참여자중 203개 기업을 대상으로 실시하였다. 분석결과 창업도약기업의 매출신장을 위해 참여자의 특성과 훈련프로그램의 품질은 프로그램의 전반적 만족도에 영향을 미치고 이를 기반으로 현업적용의지가 높아짐을 확인하였다. 또한 참여자특성과 훈련프로그램의 품질은 현업적용의지에 프로그램의 전반적 만족도를 매개로 효과가 있음에 따라 프로그램의 전반적 만족도를 높일 수 있도록 참여자들의 학습 동기와 코치들의 지원이 필요함도 함께 확인하였다.

최고경영진의 인적 및 사회적 자본이 정부의 R&D 지원제도 활용과 초기 성과에 미치는 영향 (Top Management's Human and Social Capital Effect on Governmental R&D Support System Utilization and Success)

  • Purpose - This study attempts to analyze whether or not there are characteristics among the top management of companies that promote corporate performance at venture companies. It investigates the characteristics of the human and social capital that are inherent in top management at a venture company and conducts an empirical analysis of hypotheses examining if these characteristics will affect utilization of the governmental R&D support system as well as affect the firm's initial success. Research design, data, and methodology - This study conducted theoretical and empirical research together to accomplish the goal of the study. The pilot study researched human capital and social capital as the independent variables; the governmental R&D support system as the parameter; and, the initial success as the dependent variable. The empirical study carried out research on the model, establishment of hypotheses, and the statistical treatment. A survey was conducted targeting top management of high-tech venture companies in Daedeok Innopolis; 500 questionnaires were distributed; and, 222 were collected. Results - The human and social capital inherent in top management at venture companies in the early stages of their existence become good evaluation data for those who are invested in similar resources. If top management includes strong human and social capital, access to external resources will be easier; these will have a positive influence on the selection of overnmental support systems; and, this proper support will also have a positive influence on the initial success of the venture company. The results revealed the following. First, it was found that when the educational level and functional background, (the top management human capital), are the output function, top management human capital had a significant influence on selection of governmental R&D support funds. Second, it was found that the internal social capital and external social capital, (the top management social capital), had a significant influence on selection of governmental R&D support tasks. Third, it was found that selection of the governmental R&D support tasks at the start of the venture company had a positive influence on the corporate financial performance such as sales, business profits, and the increase in workers; and, had a significant influence on nonfinancial performance such as market share, competitive position, product competitiveness, and the future product development. Conclusions - Selection of the governmental R&D support system is not recognized as part of the direct sales of a venture company in its early stages, but as it can reduce costs for technical development and helps significantly in creating test products and mass production, it has a positive influence on the company's financial performance and nonfinancial performance as a result. Therefore, companies should take great efforts to frequently be selected as a candidate in the governmental R&D support system, as it can help facilitate R&D that requires extensive funds. As a result, companies can expect effects such as job creation and patent applications and they can advance future product sales.

하이테크 제품에 대한 소비자의 주관적 평가와 객관적 정보 구전 활동에 대한 연구 (Modeling Consumers' WOM (Word-Of-Mouth) Behavior with Subjective Evaluation and Objective Information on High-tech Products)

  • 소비자들은 때로 특정 제품에 대한 정보들을 다른 소비자에게 전달하여 그들의 제품 선택에 영향을 미치는 전달자 역할을 한다. 본 연구는 구전 전달자로서 소비자가 다른 소비자에게 전달하는 제품 정보를 주관적 (긍정적 또는 부정적) 정보와 객관적 정보로 구분하여, 소비자가 어떤 정보를 어떤 경우 더욱 활발히 전달하는 지를 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구는 이를 위해, 소비자의 메시지 전달 행위를 제품 선택과 같이 또 다른 형태의 선택 행위로 보고, 고객의 제품 구매 선택 행위를 연구하는 데 주로 적용되어 온 소비자 선택 모형(consumer choice model)를 이용하여 소비자의 메시지 전파(구전) 활동을 분석하였다. 소비자 선택 모형을 이용하여, 구전 전달자들이 제품에 관한 객관적 정보와 주관적 평가를 언제 더욱 많이 확산 시키는 지를 알아보고, 더 나아가서는 소비자들이 제품 관련 정보를 확산하는 과정에 구전 활동을 더욱 활성화 또는 약화시키는 요인이 무엇인지를 살펴 보았다. 본 연구는 실증 분석 결과를 통해, 구전 전달자의 메시지 확산 행위는 정보를 획득하게 된 경로/원천(source)의 유형에 따라 더욱 활발해 지거나 위축될 수 있다는 점을 발견하였다. 또한, 이러한 구전 활동은 전달하는 제품관련 메시지가 주관적 제품 평가에 관한 것인지 아니면 제품에 대한 객관적 정보인지에 따라 그 정도가 달라진다. 본 연구의 결과가 의미하는 바는, 소비자의 제품에 관한 메시지 확산 활동은 소비자의 구전 메시지 선택 행위에 영향을 미치는 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 계획을 통하여 더욱 확산 또는 위축시킬 수 있다는 점을 보여준다. 본 연구는 기업이 확산되기를 바라는 제품 정보가 구전을 통하여 효과적으로 확산되도록 계획을 수립하는 데 필요한 방법론을 제공하고 있으며, 실증 분석 결과를 기반으로 제품구전의 성공적인 확산을 위한 커뮤니케이션 전략 수립에 필요한 가이드라인을 제공하여 준다.

영구자석 스크랩으로 합성한 산화철 나노입자의 물성에 미치는 열처리 온도의 영향 (Effect of Heat-treatment Temperature on the Physical Properties of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Synthesized by Using Permanent Magnet Scrap)

  • 본 연구에서는 NdFeB 영구자석 스크랩으로부터 회수한 철(Fe) 부산물을 이용하여 산화철(FeOx) 나노입자를 합성하였고, 열처리 온도가 FeOx 나노입자의 물성에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 이를 위해 D.I. water에 약 10 wt%로 희석한 철 부산물 용액에 2.0 M 암모니아(NH4OH) 용액을 투여하여 산화철 전구체를 석출하였고, 이를 300 ℃, 400 ℃, 500 ℃ 및 600 ℃로 각각 열처리하여 FeOx 나노 입자를 합성, 열처리 온도에 따른 FeOx 나노 입자의 물성을 관찰하였다. X-ray diffraction (XRD) 분석 결과 열처리 온도가 증가할수록 <104> 회절 피크가 성장하여 500 ℃ 이상에서 α-Fe2O3 결정구조와 일치하는 회절 피크가 검출되었다. BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) 비표면적 분석 결과 400 ℃ 이상에서 열처리 온도가 증가할수록 비표면적이 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. HRTEM (high resolution transmission electron microscope) 관찰 결과 rod 형 나노입자가 관찰되었고, 열처리 온도 증가에 따라 나노입자의 크기가 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다.

A Micro-Mechanics Based Corrosion Model for the Prediction of Service Life in Reinforced Concrete Structures

  • Reinforcing steel bars in reinforced concrete structures are protected from corrosion by passive film on the steel surface inside concrete with high alkalinity. However, when the passive film breaks down due to chloride ion ingressed into the RC structures, a corrosion initiates at the surface of steel bars. Then, internal pressure by volume expansion of corrosion products in reinforcing bars induces cracking and spalling of cover concrete, which reduces not only durability performance but also structural performance in RC structures. In this paper, a service life prediction of RC structures is carried out by using a micro-mechanics based corrosion model. The corrosion model is composed of a chloride penetration model to evaluate the initiation of corrosion and an electric corrosion cell model and an oxygen diffusion model to evaluate the rate and the accumulated amounts of corrosion. Then, a corrosion cracking model is combined to the models to evaluate critical amount of corrosion product for initiation cracking in cover concrete. By implementing the models into a finite element analysis program, a time and space dependent corrosion analysis and a service life prediction of RC structures due to chloride attack are simulated and the results of the analysis are compared with test results. The effect of crack width on the corrosion and the service life of the RC structures are analyzed and discussed.
