Institutionalized children's cognitive abilities were measured using the Comprehension and Picture Completion Assessment, two subsets of K-WPPSI (Park et al., 1996) Comprehension and Picture Completion Assessment belong to verbal and performance scale, respectively. Measures of behavior problems included anxiety, immaturity, social withdrawal, physical symptom, hyperactivity, and aggression. Data were analyzed with mean, standard deviation, and t-test. Teacher quality is a key factor that determines quality of education. Being aware of this, the Korean government and teachers have been striving to improve teachers' professionalism. Research about the impacts of efforts to enhance teacher professionalism on students' academic achievement and course satisfaction, however, is extremely limited. This study sought to advance our understanding of the relationship between these factors by analyzing what teacher characteristics impact students' achievement and satisfaction. To this end, the study drew on the middle and high school data from 3rd to 6th year survey of the Seoul Educational Longitudinal Study. Structural equational modeling were used as the main approach. Latent profile analysis, a kind of mixture modeling analysis, were used as needed. This study found that teachers' participation in instruction enhancement activity and professional development impact students' attitude toward mathematics lessons and their perception on class atmosphere, and ultimately impact their academic achievement as well as their overall satisfaction in the course. In addition, teachers' use of EBS textbooks and videos impact 3rd grade high schoolers' academic achievement. These findings suggest that effort to improve teacher professionalism positively impact students' academic achievement and course satisfaction, although there is a difference according to the year grade. This study provides implications for education policy makers and teacher educators.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of the Gyeonggi province book sharing regular delivery project for pre-schoolers in 2021, analyze the problems of the project, and suggest improvement measures to help the preparation of policies for the promotion of reading culture in Gyeonggi province. As a result of the survey, the necessity and satisfaction of the project were found to be very high for both the caregivers and the reading coaches. In particular, in the case of caregivers, the higher the amount of reading after the project, the higher the need for and satisfaction with the project. It was found that they wanted to participate in programs such as regular book delivery. Even in the convergence of expert opinions, it was evaluated that there was a positive change in the perception of parenting by reading by caregivers, and that the necessity and satisfaction of this project were very high due to the development of infant-parent interaction. However, in the self-evaluation of the project manager and the implementing organization, it was evaluated that better results could be achieved only when the project was carried out through thorough planning and preparation in advance. Through this, for the continuity of Gyeonggi province regular delivery of children's book packages, improvement plans were presented and Gyeonggi-do's reading culture promotion policy was proposed.

As human life and welfare become more valued in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, the role and mission of human ecology are expanding. Therefore, a career exploration and education program for high school students covering all the academic fields of human ecology may be necessary. To investigate what would be needed to develop such a program, a focus group interview (FGI) targeting experts within the same field and a survey targeting high school students were conducted. As a result of the FGI, a total of 3 categories and 7 subcategories were identified. The three categories included "human ecology and high school education," "human ecology and career choices," and "education program development and management in human ecology." The results of the high schoolers' survey showed that they had a moderate level of awareness about careers related to human ecology majors, but their interests and known information about human ecology programs in universities were low. Within the sub-content of each major, the contents with the highest educational needs were fashion product management, nutrition by disease, housing market analysis, personal financial management, and children's rights and welfare. If a career exploration and education program is implemented in the future, the most preferred type is a mentoring program by professors, students, and graduates in the field of human ecology. In conclusion, it is necessary to develop and implement an integrative education program about human ecology majors based on the educational needs of high school students.
This study was carried out to evaluate high-school students' nutrient intakes according to the status of depressive trends, and to analyse the in physical and mental health status. The volunteers were 560 high school students selected from 8 provinces, but 511 students were analyzed. A was used for evaluation, The questions were composed in consideration of socio-demographic characteristics, physical health condition by CMI, mental condition assessed by a modified Zung's self-rating depression scale (SDS), and the evaluation of food consumption by a 24 hours recall method. The family situations of the subjects were mostly nuclear family(73%), agricultural work(53%), and having religion(53%). Only 3% of the students suffered depression where as 19% showed depression trendencies. The individual factors that affected their mental condition were family farming and consciousness of academic accomplishment. The health status counted with CMI was 6.2/20 scores. The non-depressed trend group of students had a lower score of CMI than others. The overall nutrient intakes of students were low compared with the Korean RDA for adolescents. The Mean Adequacy Ratio(MAR) of nutrient intakes was only $0.45{\pm}0.23$. Iron, vitamin A, and riboflavin intakes were significantly low and correlated with depressive trend score. The result from the regression analysis showed that CMI, study accomplishment, and vitamin A were the most significant factors influencing mental condition. We concluded that Korean rural high-school students were healthy in mental condition and showed lower rates of depression academic. For there more we could say that the intakes of iron and vitamin A also influenced mental health. Findings confirmed the need of becoming hopeful job of farming and better nutritional status. These situations would be necessary for students to ameliorate the quality of rural living.
The purpose of this study was to examine the views of elementary students and teachers in relation to life phenomenon. Students seemed to strongly agree with the notion of vitalism as well as with organicism. However they clearly disagreed with the notion of mechanism. Contrary to our supposition, their viewpoints on lift phenomenon were highly affected by their relative levels of academic achievement in science subject areas, rather than by their religious affiliations. One possible explanation for this outcome is that elementary schoolers have not firmly established religious views, though they might indeed have a religious affiliation. High-achieving children in science subject areas seemed to agree with both vitalism and organicism (p<.01), and it is suggested that those students must have had more opportunities to encounter related cases in modem science or life ethics. Teachers agreed with all three views, showing the highest rate of approval in organicism. Though they appeared to agree with mechanism, they were strongly opposed to radical mechanism generally arguing that 'organism and machines were essentially the same'. Student responses indicated that TV had a bigger influence on their viewpoint on life phenomenon than teachers did. This means that children held certain views about the relative significance and influences of teachers vis-a-vis TV in daily life, and is also reflective of a perception amongst students that teachers do not how the significance of viewpoints on lift phenomenon.

They have initiated their costume culture directly through their daughters and it had the great influence on after-ages. The Spot experience program for adolescent to experience the head family's costume culture and life culture consisted of four subjects:(l)Educating the head family's traditional living culture including etiquette training, (2)head family village walk, (3)experiencing the head family's clothes life including natural dyeing and sewing, and (4)a field trip of Hampyeong Local Life Culture Museum.
