High-Tc Superconducting Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O Thin Films prepared by Sputter Deposition (스퍼터 증착법으로 제작한 Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O 고온 초전도 박막)

  • Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O thin films have been fabricated by sputter deposition method. During the deposition, 10 and 90 wt%-ozone/oxygen mixture gas of typical pressure of $1\sim9\times10^{-5}$ Torr are supplied with ultraviolet light irradiation for oxidation. XRD and RHEED investigations reveal out that a buffer layer with some different compositions is formed at the early deposition stage of less than 10 units cell and then Bi-2201 oriented along the c-axis is grown.

  • BSCCO thin films have been fabricated by co-deposition at an ultralow growth rate using ion beam sputtering(IBS) method. Bi 2212 phase appeared in the temperature range of 750 and $795^{\circ}C$ and single phase of Bi 2201 existed in the lower region than $785^{\circ}C$. Whereas, ozone gas pressure dependance on structural formation was scarcely observed regardless of the pressure variation. And high quality of c-axis oriented Bi 2212 thin film with $T_c$(onset) of about 90 K and $T_c$(zero) of about 45 K is obtained. Only a small amount of CuO in some films was observed as impurity, and no impurity phase such as $CaCuO_2$ was observed in all of the obtained films.

  • 전구물질에 의해 생성되는 이차오염물질인 $O_3$은 기상장의 영향으로 인한 두가지 형태의 수송에 의해 방출원이 아닌 다른 지역에서 오염물질의 고농도 현상을 야기할 수 있다. 첫 번째 형태의 수송은 종관장이 강한 날에 발생할 수 있는 것으로 방출원에서 타 지역으로 경도풍에 의한 오염물질의 장거리 수송이다(Cox et al.,1975 : Apling et al.,1977). 두 번째 형태는 종관장이 약하여 국지순환계가 발달하고 연안지역과 내륙지역의 기온차이에 의해 발생하는 내륙지역의 열적 저기압의 형성과 이에 따른 연안지역에서 내륙지역으로의 오염물질의 수송이다(Kurita and Ueda, 1990).   • 서울시는 인구과밀, 크고 낮은 많은 산들, 높은 차량증가율과 수도권의 공업과 인구집중화 등의 이유로 그간의 많은 노력과 행정력의 집중에도 불구하고 질소산화물과 오존농도는 오히려 증가패턴을 나타내고 있다. 2002년도는 세계적인 월드컵대회가 한일공동으로 개최될 예정이고, 개회식이 개최될 서울 마포구 상암동 일대는 월드컵경기장 공사와 주변정리 작업이 한창이다. 직선거리로 400-500m의 풍상측(주풍방향 서북풍)에는 세계에서 가장 큰 규모의 하나인 비위생적 쓰레기 매립지가 위치하고 있고 이는 15년간 9천2백만㎥의 쓰레기가 묻혔으며 매립이 중단된지 9년이 되었다.   • Recently, a number of countries are now considering the reuse of effluents from wastewater treatment for various water applications. To improve the reuse of wastewater effluent, the development of appropriate micro-pollutant removal technology is necessary. Although several researche have been studied for removing micro-pollutants in water, little study has been conducted for the removal of emerging contaminant such as antibiotic resistant genes (ARGs) by disinfection processes. Therefore, the aim of this study is to compare the capacity of disinfection technologies such as chlorination, ozone, and electron beam, for removing antibiotic resistant bacteria (ARB) and ARGs. Based on this study, better ARG removal can be achieved by ozonation and electron beam. Relatively, high CT values of chlorination or ozonation are needed to remove ARB and ARG compared to conventional pathogens.

  • A study on the color removal by irradiation of ${\gamma}-ray$ was carried out to reclaim the secondary effluent for the purpose of industrial water. Coagulation, ozone and ion exchange methods were compared. It could know that irradiation method was the most effective in color removal. The color was removed by 87.5% at 0.5 Mrad and it was increase with dose. High removal efficiency could be obtained in low pH and low concentration of $CO3^{-2}$. This process can be applied to the treatment of secondary effluent and is considered to be one of the most useful tertiary treatment.

  • An experimental study on the nascent product of the OH heterogeneous reaction with NaCl was performed under dry and wet conditions using a bead-filled flow tube system coupled to a high-pressure chemical ionization mass spectrometer. The ozone concentration in the flow tube for the atomic hydrogen removal was varied in order to control the conversion reaction of molecular chlorine into HCl for the identification of the nascent product. The mass spectrometric observation was that the $O_3$ introduction reduced the concentration HCl, while it increased the concentration of $Cl_2$ and ClO. Based on the experimental results, we suggest that the nascent product of the titled reaction is gaseous $Cl_2$, which is followed by fast conversion into HCl in presence of H. No significant difference in the concentration profile between under dry and wet (RH = 2%) conditions was observed.

  • High quality BSCCO thin films have been fabricated by means of an ion beam sputtering at various substrate temperatures, T$\sub$sub/, and ozone gas pressures, pO$_3$. The correlation diagrams of the BSCCOphases with T$\sub$sub/ and pO$_3$ are established in the 2212 and 2223 phases come out as stable phases depending on T$\sub$sub/ and pO$_3$. From these results, the thermodynamic evaluation of ΔH and ΔS, which are related with Gibbs\` free energy change for single Bi2212 or Bi2223 phase, were performed.

  • The purpose of this dissertation is to compare bound andtioxidant, MHPPD with the ordinary one, IPPD, when high polymers are used like NR and SBR. The effect of rubber bound antioxidant and ordinary antioxidant on the Mooney scorch time has been studied by means of the Mooney viscometer. The ageing properties of vulcanizates containing rubber-bound antioxidant and ordinary antioxidant have been studied in terms of hardness, tensile strength and elongation. The results of the Mooney scorch time and ageing properties are as follows: When MHPPD was mixed with NR or SBR compounds, the Mooney scorch time was faster than the IPPD compounds. Also the ageing properties of the vulcanizates containing MHPPD were much superior to the IPPD compounds. Furthermore, the vulcanizates comporised of MHPPD have taken andvantage of and resistance in the ozone test.
