A distributed server cluster system is a cost-effective system to provide a service application for clients with reliable, scalable, available, and fault-tolerant features. In order to provide high quality services, it is necessary to evaluate service performances, tune the server system, and analyze performances. In this paper, we propose a simulator to generate workloads based on statistic configuration according to estimated application traffics, apply workload scheduling algorithms, and evaluate the simulation results. We introduce the simulator design modelling and architecture. By using flexible parameters, the simulator is able to generate various patterns of workloads with different statistics, and configure system environments such as the number of server nodes, system resources considered, and their capacities. With this simulator, we introduce two scenarios: one is to find appropriate thresholds for the best performance of cluster system, and the other is to find the suitable scheduling algorithm for workload characteristics of service applications.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify health problems in clinical nurses through an examination of their auricular acupuncture points. Methods: Data were collected from 90 nurses working in D city. Participants' ears were photographed and their auricular points were analyzed. Data analysis was performed by descriptive statistics and the $x^2$ test. Results: Musculoskeletal problems were the most severe, followed by problems of the digestive, nervous, and reproductive systems, in that order. Furthermore, the average number of health problems was 5.22, with a range of 4 to 6. Leg/foot pain was the highest reported musculoskeletal problem, followed by shoulder and lumbar/back pain. Gastric ptosis was the highest reported digestive problem, followed by indigestion and hypersensitive colitis. Additionally, among participants with gastric ptosis, lumbar pain was significantly high. Conclusion: The results suggest that further research using an auricular points as a diagnosis and treatment point is necessary to improve the health of nurses.
The rapid increase in genetic dataset volume has demanded extensive adoption of biological knowledge to reduce the computational complexity, and the biological pathway is one well-known source of such knowledge. In this regard, we have introduced a novel statistical method that enables the pathway-based association study of large-scale genetic dataset-namely, PHARAOH. However, researcher-level application of the PHARAOH method has been limited by a lack of generally used file formats and the absence of various quality control options that are essential to practical analysis. In order to overcome these limitations, we introduce our integration of the PHARAOH method into our recently developed all-in-one workbench. The proposed new PHARAOH program not only supports various de facto standard genetic data formats but also provides many quality control measures and filters based on those measures. We expect that our updated PHARAOH provides advanced accessibility of the pathway-level analysis of large-scale genetic datasets to researchers.
In this paper, we propose a study on awareness of first aid of scuba diver. In order to achieve this purpose, a total of 310 customers over the age of 20 were selected as study participants form diving pools and dive resort in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Gyeongsang province area using the convenience sampling method However, only data from 295 customers were used after screening the data for reliability. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire, and descriptive statistics, inter-item consistency reliability, pearson chi-square test were conducted on the data using the SPSS 21.0 version statistical package program. The followings are the results: The level differ significantly according hemorrhage, abrasion, sprain, fracture, fever, arrest, airway obstruction. As a result of analyzing the difference of first aid recognition according to the level of scuba diver, we found bleeding patients, abrasions, sprains, fractures, high heat exposure patients, cardiac arrest patients. There was a statistically significant difference in the level of airway obstruction due to food.
Background: This study was to analyze gender differences in health status, health behaviors and disease prevalence of multi-cultural family in order to contribute to health promotion of them. High risk drinking, hypertension, dyslipidemia, arthritis, and obesity prevalence rate were higher in males than females significantly(p<.001). Conclusion: Based on the study results, it is necessary to establish a public health care program to improve health and welfare of multi-cultural families.
Purpose: This study is to confirm the effectiveness of the character education program applied to high school students. Methods: The study used a one-group pretest-posttest design with a sample of students aged 15 (n=263, male), the members of eleven 10th grade classes in a high school in Seoul, from March 1st, 2019 to February 28th, 2020. In order to confirm the effectiveness of the program, the Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) character questionnaire was used, and a paired t-test was performed using IBM SPSS statistics 25 statistical program. Results: In this study, character levels were significantly higher after the character education program than before. The pre-post differences in character levels were measured for Sincerity (t=5.63, p<.001), Self-respect (t=2.78, p=.011), Decorum (t=3.97, p<.001), Responsibility (t=5.35, p<.001), Consideration and communication (t=5.89, p<.001), Citizenship (t=5.28, p=p<.001), Self-regulation (t=6.25, p<.001), Justice (t=2.62, p=.011), Wisdom (t=5.75, p<.001), and Honesty and courage (t=7.11, p<.001). Conclusion: In this study, and were found to be significantly related to improvements in character.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the relation of the unhealthy eating habit of high school students in Seoul with their school types. Methods: In cross-sectional study, secondary data was used, representative sample of 7,284 subjects, high school students in Seoul. Consumption rates of Ramyun, Fast-food, and a breakfast-skipping rate were compared by the gender, grade, and school type. Descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$ analysis, correlation, and multiple logistic regression were used for data analysis. Results: The odds ratios (OR) of associated factors on the breakfast-skipping were 1.25 times higher in the 11th grade, 1.26 times in the 12th grade (reference: 10th grade), 1.21 times in school for both gender (reference: only male gender), 2.63 times in the general high school, 4.82 times in the vocational (reference: the autonomous private). The odds ratios (OR) of associated factors on frequent Ramyun intake were 2.10 times in male, 1.79 times in both gender (reference: only male gender), 2.01 times in the general high school, vocational 5.26 times (reference: the autonomous private). The odds ratios (OR) of associated factors on frequent Fast-food intake were 1.89 times in school for both gender (reference: only male gender), 3.93 times in the vocational high school (reference: the autonomous private). Conclusion: Students of the vocational high school than those of the autonomous private had more and more the breakfast-skipping rate, and had more consumption rates of Ramyun and Fast-food. Therefore, in order to improve these problems, intervention for students, diversified school health policy as well as health education to right food intake consumption are needed.

In order for a cook to cook, there should be a space called a kitchen; moreover, to prepare good food, there should be good kitchen facilities in the kitchen. With good facilities, the cook can save time and have higher productivity. On the other hand, with poor facilities, equipment and utensils, the cook can get demotivated, have poor capability, suffer from high stress and possibly can cause some diseases. Therefore, better facilities are essential for cooking environment. The purpose of this study is to find out how significant the job stress is according to the demographic characteristics. Also, how kitchen facilities and moving line influence the job stress. In order to answer above questions, 278 copies of questionnaire were made and given to cooks at hotels with five star or similar ranks.
