해양환경 하에서 Ni-Cr계 자용성 합금 코팅된 ALBC3 합금의 캐비테이션 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Cavitation Characteristics for ALBC3 Alloy Coated with Ni-Cr Series Self Fluxing Alloy in Marine Environment)

  • 본 연구에서는 ALBC3 합금에 Ni기 자용성 합금으로 내마모성 및 내캐비테이션 특성을 향상시키기 위하여 용사코팅 후 열처리를 실시하여 캐비테이션 특성을 평가하였다. 본 연구 결과, 자용성 합금 코팅층이 높은 경도를 나타내어 내마모성이 우수할 것으로 판단되나, 다공질의 조직으로 인해 열악한 내캐비테이션 특성을 나타냈다. 따라서 열처리 조건의 최적화가 중요하며, 본 조건에서는 열처리 온도를 높여 자용성 합금 내 B와 Si의 유동성을 증가시킴으로써 기공이나 결함을 제거하여 특성개선 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Effect of Oxidation on the Fatigue Crack Propagation Behavior of Z3CN20.09M Duplex Stainless Steel in High Temperature Water

  • The fatigue crack propagation behaviors of Z3CN20.09M duplex stainless steel (DSS) were investigated by studying oxide films of specimens tested in $290^{\circ}C$ water and air. The results indicate that a full oxide film that consisted of oxides and hydroxides was formed in $290^{\circ}C$ water. By contrast, only a half-baked oxide film consisting of oxides was formed in $290^{\circ}C$ air. Both environments are able to deteriorate the elastic modulus and hardness of the oxide films, especially the $290^{\circ}C$ water. The fatigue lives of the specimens tested in $290^{\circ}C$ air were about twice of those tested in $290^{\circ}C$ water at all strain amplitudes. Moreover, the crack propagation rates of the specimen tested in $290^{\circ}C$ water were confirmed to be faster than those tested in $290^{\circ}C$ air, which was thought to be due to the deteriorative strength of the oxide films induced by the mutual promotion of oxidation and crack propagation at the crack tip. It is noteworthy that the crack propagation can be postponed by the ferrite phase in the DSS, especially when the specimens were tested in $290^{\circ}C$ water.

버섯분말을 첨가한 생면의 품질특성 (Quality of Wet Noodle Prepared with Wheat Flour and Mushroom Powder)

  • 건조한 버섯분말(느타리, 표고)을 밀가루에 3, 5, 7% 첨가하여 반죽의 리올로지와 생면의 품질특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 느타리와 표고버섯은 0.04에서 $500\;{\mu}m$까지 비교적 큰 입자분포를 보여 밀가루 입자와는 큰 차이를 보였다. 아밀로그래프상의 호화 개시온도는 버섯분말의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 점차 증가하였으나, 최고, 최종점도 및 setback는 감소하였다. 패리노그래프상의 수분흡수율 및 반죽형성시간은 버섯분말의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 점차 증가하였으나 반죽의 안정도는 느타리버섯의 첨가에 의해 감소되었고 표고버섯의 첨가에 의해 증가하였다. 색도는 버섯분말첨가 밀가루 뿐만 아니라 생면에서 식용버섯의 첨가에 따라 L값이 크게 감소하였고 a와 b값은 증가하였다. 생면의 조리후 중량 및 부피는 버섯분말 첨가에 의해 감소하였으며 국물의 탁도는 증가하였다. 조리면의 텍스쳐 측정 결과, 견고성, 응집성, 씹는감, 절단력은 느타리버섯의 첨가에 의해 크게 감소되었으나 표고버섯의 첨가에 의해서는 증가를 보였다. 조리면의 관능검사 결과, 느타리버섯은 3%, 표고버섯은 5% 수준의 첨가시료에서 가장 좋은 품질특성을 나타내었다.

FLIP CHIP ON ORGANIC BOARD TECHNOLOGY USING MODIFIED ANISOTROPIC CONDUCTIVE FILMS AND ELECTROLESS NICKEL/GOLD BUMP

  • Flip chip assembly directly on organic boards offers miniaturization of package size as well as reduction in interconnection distances resulting in a high performance and cost-competitive Packaging method. This paper describes the investigation of alternative low cost flip-chip mounting processes using electroless Ni/Au bump and anisotropic conductive adhesives/films as an interconnection material on organic boards such as FR-4. As bumps for flip chip, electroless Ni/Au plating was performed and characterized in mechanical and metallurgical point of view. Effect of annealing on Ni bump characteristics informed that the formation of crystalline nickel with $Ni_3$P precipitation above $300^{\circ}C$ causes an increase of hardness and an increase of the intrinsic stress resulting in a reliability limitation. As an interconnection material, modified ACFs composed of nickel conductive fillers for electrical conductor and non-conductive inorganic fillers for modification of film properties such as coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE) and tensile strength were formulated for improved electrical and mechanical properties of ACF interconnection. The thermal fatigue life of ACA/F flip chip on organic board limited by the thermal expansion mismatch between the chip and the board could be increased by a modified ACA/F. Three ACF materials with different CTE values were prepared and bonded between Si chip and FR-4 board for the thermal strain measurement using moire interferometry. The thermal strain of ACF interconnection layer induced by temperature excursion of $80^{\circ}C$ was decreased with decreasing CTEs of ACF materials.

알루미늄 주조/단조 공정에서 주조조직 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Control of Cast Microstructure in the Aluminum Casting/Forging Process)

  • The scale of dendritic structure of a cast preform plays a key role in determining the mechanical properties of cast/forged products. In this study, casting experiments are carried out to reduce dendrite arm spacing (DAS) to smaller than 20 ${\mu}$m by increasing cooling rate of the mold and then to spheriodize dendritic structures by addition of alloying elements such as Zr and Ti-B. From the casting experiments, appropriate casting conditions for producing the cast preform of a motorcycle connecting rod are obtained. To obtain fine microstructures of the cast preform, mold temperature must set to be low whilst cooling rate being high. When cooling rate is 10 $^{\circ}C$/s, the size of DAS is 17.4 ${\mu}$m. And the degree of spheriodization of a grain in the cast preform is described by aspect ratio, which is defined as the ratio of major and minor radii of an elliptical grain. When 0.5% Zr and 0.24 % Ti+B are added to the molten aluminum alloy, the best aspect-ratio 0.75 is obtained. After forging the cast preform of a motorcycle connecting rod, the microstructure and mechanical properties of the cast preform are compared with those of the cast/forged product. Cast/forged products are superior in microstructure and in mechanical properties such as ultimate strength, elongation, and hardness.

아끼바레와 밀양 23호 현미의 수화속도 (Kinetic Studies on Hydration of Akibare and Milyang 23 Brown Rice)

  • 일반계 아끼바레와 다수확계 밀양 23호 현미의 수화과정에서의 특성을 속도론적으로 분석하였다. 현미의 수화는 약18시간 후에 평형에 도달하였다. 현미의 초기수확속도식은 Fick의 단순화한 확산 방정식으로 해석할 수 있었으며 두 품종의 확산 계수는 다음식으로 나타낼 수 있었다. 아끼바레 : $D=2.738{\time}10^{-1}\;{\exp}\;(-9,300/RT)$, 밀양 23호 : $D=4.302{\time}10^{-1}\;{\exp}\;(-9,500/RT)$. 초기 수화과정중 수화에 따른 경도변화는 1차 반응식으로 나타낼 수 있었으며 밀양 23호가 아끼바레보다 약간 빨랐다. 또한 호화온도인 $60{\sim}65^{\circ}C$를 전후로 수화메카니즘에 차이를 나타내었다.

Comparison of the change in quality indices during distribution period by import season in three grape cultivars

  • As a result of analyzing the quality of imported grapes during the 2018 season, the hardness of the grape berry was found to be 10 N or less in total. In the case of Chilean grapes, the soluble solids tended to be lower as imports and distribution periods were delayed. The berry weight was the largest at 14.4 - 14.8 g for the 'Red Globe', 7.1 - 7.4 g for the 'Thompson Seedless' and 6.0 - 7.0 g for the 'Crimson Seedless'. The 'Crimson Seedless' grapes imported from Chile, which had a high berry shatter rate, had a shorter pedicel length, pad width and brush length than that of the other 2 varieties. Regardless of the grape varieties, the weight loss during the distribution at room temperature ($25^{\circ}C$) increased rapidly as the import season was delayed. Additionally, it was found that the later the distribution seasons, a higher stem browning index was observed regardless of the variety. The 'Thompson Seedless' was revealed to be more susceptible to browning than that of the other varieties. The shrinkage of the stem and the pedicel browning progressed within a short time during shelf-life as the distribution time was delayed. The incidence of berry decay of the imported grapes tended to increase with the progression of the distribution period. In the fruits distributed on April, except for the 'Crimson Seedless', the grapes were rapidly corrupted in the second half of the distribution. The 'Red Globe' grapes completely lost marketability due to a berry decay of 26.1% and 69.9% at 9 and 12 days after shelf-life, respectively.

복합기능성 생분해 PLA 시트에 관한 연구 (Study on the biodegradable PLA sheet with multiple functionalities)

  • 연구는 생분해성 PLA 시트의 확대적용에 있어, 중단기적인 도입 성과를 낼 수 있는 혼합비율 및 제조방법을 위하여 혼합비율을 연구하고 적용하는데 제공하고자 한다. 방담기능의 목적으로 사용되는 생분해성 PLA 시트로 방담 기능성을 가지면서 고 내열성, 내 충격성 및 투명성이 향상된 복합 기능성 다층 구조시트로서 복합기능성 다층 구조 시트를 제조하기 위해서 3 Layer 공정을 도입하였다. 내층, Core층, 외층을 구분하여 혼합 압출하였으며, 내층과 Core층은 내 충격성, 고 내열성을 가지며, 외층은 방담기능성을 부여하는 생분해성 PLA 다층 시트구조로 연구한다. 본 연구 결과를 적용함으로써, 일반 PLA 물성 및 내열온도를 향상시켜 플라스틱 대체 및 확대 적용이 가능하다.

방전플라즈마소결로 제조된 나노결정 FeNiCrMoMnSiC 합금의 오스테나이트 안정성과 기계적 특성 (Austenite Stability and Mechanical Properties of Nanocrystalline FeNiCrMoMnSiC Alloy Fabricated by Spark Plasma Sintering)

  • In this study, a nanocrystalline FeNiCrMoMnSiC alloy was fabricated, and its austenite stability, microstructure, and mechanical properties were investigated. A sintered FeNiCrMoMnSiC alloy sample with nanosized crystal was obtained by high-energy ball milling and spark plasma sintering. The sintering behavior was investigated by measuring the displacement according to the temperature of the sintered body. Through microstructural analysis, it was confirmed that a compact sintered body with few pores was produced, and cementite was formed. The stability of the austenite phase in the sintered samples was evaluated by X-ray diffraction analysis and electron backscatter diffraction. Results revealed a measured value of 51.6% and that the alloy had seven times more austenite stability than AISI 4340 wrought steel. The hardness of the sintered alloy was 60.4 HRC, which was up to 2.4 times higher than that of wrought steel.

PVC 표면치장재를 적층한 치장목질마루판의 열특성 및 기초 품질성능 분석 (The Analysis of Thermal Conductivity and Basic Quality Performances of Decoration Wood-based Flooring Board Laminated with PVC Surface Decoration Materials)

  • For test on flooring board laminated with PVC decoration materials in order to replace the current surface materials such as HPL in decoration wood-based flooring board. the Results of comparison and analysis are as follows: For thermal conductivity, flooring board decorated with PVC did not show huge differences when temperature was rising and lowering compared to the flooring materials laminated with the existing HPL surface materials. It seems the most meaningful results for using it as indoor flooring materials. That is, in Korea where there is the culture focusing on ondol heating, use amount of heat energy and efficiency of flooring materials are very important and sensitive issues, involving immediately with household economy of final consumers, and it might be a criteria to judge basic performances required as flooring materials. As a result of the analysis on mandatory durability test items such as abrasion resistance, absorption width expansion rate, impact resistance, surface hardness, and impact absorption for flooring materials, compared to flooring board laminated with general HPL surface decoration materials, decoration wood-based flooring board laminated with PVC surface decoration materials which is higher abrasion resistance with smaller transformation and has better durability and impact absorption of the surface, is available for actual application as indoor flooring board, and for replacing surface decoration materials impregnated with heat-hardened resion such as HPL.
