Recently, in many laboratories and institutes it is being studied on the high flowing concrete widely, which has high fluidity, non-segregation ability and fillingability, and sometimes being applied to the construction field actually. And the fluidity properties of high flowing concrete are influenced according to the several factors ; binder content, water/binder ratio and water content etc. This is an experimental study to compare and analyze the effect of water/binder ratio and water content on the properties of high flowing concrete. For this purpose, the mix proportion of high flowing concrete according to water/binder ratio(W/B : 0.30, 0.35, 0.40, 0.45) and water content (W : 155, 165, 175, 185 kg/㎥) was selected. And then slump-flow, V-lot, L-passing test in fresh concrete, and compressive strength, freezing and thawing test in hardened concrete were peformed. According to test results, it was found that the viscosity of all those high flowing concrete with the water content 175 kg/㎥ was satisfied with 50 cm pass time of slump flow prescribed by Japanese Architectural Standard Specification (JASS 5) - from 3 to 8 seconds. And non-segregation ability of concrete with W/B 0.35 was better than the other mix proportions. Especially, the compressive strength after curing 24 hours(1 day) of all high flowing concrete was higher than that prescribed by JASS 5(50 kgf/㎠).
Most difficulties of inducing high fluidity on the concrete mixing design with a strength range of 210 to 240kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ result from the segregation of aggregates due to the shortage of cementitious binders. To solve the problem, this study concentrated on finding the optimized amount of binder material which does not affect the concrete strength and is also economical. Also there were studies on the use of intermediate sized aggregates to avoid the gap-grading between coarse and fine aggregates so that the material segregation in high flowing concrete was and minimalized the fluidity and penetration capacity of the reinforcing bars was enhanced. Throughout the parametric study with respect to water/binder ratio. superplasticizer. replaceable mineral admixture, the size of coarse aggregate and mixing methods, the effect of each constituent on the characteristics of high flowing concrete could be observed. As a result or partially using stone powder or an intermediate class of aggregate (max. diameter 13mm) . it was fund that the fluidity of concrete significantly increased without material segregation and any change of compressive strengths. It was also proved in this study that proper mixing time and speed are significant factors influence the performence of high flowing concrete.

This study is to investigate properties of high strength.high flowing concrete using blast-furnace slag in temperature conditions of 5, 10, 15 and $20^{\circ}C$. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) The use of blast-furnace slag leads to decrease of air content and increase of fluidity in the fresh concrete. 2) The early compressive strength of high strength.high flowing concrete containing blast-furnace slag is lower than the case with portland cement only. 3) The compressive strength development of incorporating in the concrete is poor at low temperature below about $15^{\circ}C$.

It is known that high flowing concrete performs much higher fluidity, segregation resistibility and better placeability than normal concrete. However, it is hard to apply high fluidity concrete in field because of high manufacturing cost. Therefore, we intend to investigate the validity of segregation reducing type superplasticizer which is made by combining 0.61 of viscosity agent and 0.022 of AE agent for 1 of superplasticizer. Test are conducted on high flowing concrete using fly ash by applying segregation reducing type superplasticizer. According to experimental results, As contents of fly ash increase, fluidity, segregation resistibility and placeability shows favorable results. And also compressive strength at early age shows to be retarded, while it gains high strength at later age.

This is the study on the performance of workability and engneering properties of flowing concrete using the superplasticizers, which are being used for control of the consistency of fresh concrete without modifying the properties of the hardened concrete and for production of high quality concrete at a low water-cement ratio. It is the aim of this study to analyze and investigate workability and engineering properties of flowing concrete according to the addition rate in poor and rich mix proportions of base concrete. Base on this fundamental investigation for the development of flowing concrete mix design, it could be drawn that the workability and engineering properties of flowing concreteare influenced greatly by mix proportion and dosage of superplasticizers.

In this paper, we decribed the basic elements required for the practical usage of super flowing concrete. The flowability and filingability of fresh concrete was measured by using six different testing methods. Also, two actual size members were used for investigating characteristics of the hardened concrete through variious experiments. As the result of the experimentation, the developed super flowing concrete shown high flowability and fillingability good enough for the requirement. Furthermore, inner uniformity of the no-vibrated concrete was verified by testing distribution of aggregates and core cylinders. Therefore, quality control and workability of concrete can be secured by using the super flowing concrete even without vibrating However, it ha been felt that development of easy evaluation methods for the super flowing concrete is in need.

Aggregate is cheaper than cement and confers considerable technical advantages on concrete, which has a higher volume stability and better durability than hydrated cement paste alone. and coarse aggregate is the largest particle size out of concrete and is much affect on the fruidity, compaction and non-segregation ability of high flowing concrete. As the compaction, fillingability and shrinkage of high flowing concrete, the volume ratio of coarse aggregate is prescribed by Japanese Architectural Standard Specificateon (JASS 5) : from 0.500 to 0.500㎥/㎥. It is the aim of this study to compare and analysis the fruidity, fillingability and non-segregation of high flosing concrete according to the volume ratio of coarse aggregate of concrete(G/Glim).

Although bonding material content of the high strength flowing concrete is very important in engineering properties, in rich mix concrete increasing the bonding material content may not follow more good properties. This study is to investigate the influence of the bonding material content affecting on the engineering properties of high strength flowing concrete, and this paper is to analyze the properties of hardened concrete. The results reveal that the strength of concrete having loss bonding material content is higher than that of concrete having more bonding material content, and that in proportion to increasing of concrete strength brittleness factors decrease, and that the static modulus of elasticity in this study is less than that in specification.

This paper presents the results of mock up test on the manufacturing of high fluidity concrete by applying flowing methods with segregation reducing type superplasticizer(SRS). Three kinds of mock up structure are made such as. conventional concrete(A), high fluidity concrete(B) and high fluidity concrete incorporating 20% of fly ash(C). Physical and mechanical properties, temperature history of structure and nondestructive test are performed. Segregation reducing type superplasticizer is put into base concrete at field, and base concrete is also flowed at field. C mock up structure which requires 0.85% of SRS to flow base concrete shows most desirable performance at fresh state. The highest rising temperature shows the lowest at C structure among the tested structures. Strength variations before and after flowing also show the lowest values at C structures.
This study investigates experimentally into the design factors and quality variations having an effect on the properties of the combined high flowing concrete to be poured in the slurry wall of Inchon LNG in-ground receiving terminal. Especially, high belite cement and lime stone powder as cementitious materials and viscosity agent in order to improve self-compaction and hydration heat are used in this study. Water-cement ratio(W/C), fine aggregate volume ratio(Sr) and coarse aggregate volume ratio(Gv) as design factors of the combined high flowing concrete are applied to determine the optimum mix design proportion. Also quality variations for sensitivity test are selected items as followings. (1)Surface moisture(5cases) and (2)Fineness modulus of fine aggregate(5cases), (3)Concrete temperature(3cases), (4)Specific surface(3cases) and particle size of lime stone powder. As experimental results, water-cement ratio, fine and coarse aggregate volume ratio are shown as the optimum range 51%, 43% and 53% separately considering site condition of slurry wall. Also quality factors by sensitivity test should be controlled in the following ranges. (1) Surface moisture :to.67% and (2)Fineness modulus 2.6$\pm$0.2 of fine aggregate, (3)Concrete temperature l0-20t, (4) Specific surface 6,000$\textrm{cm}^2$/g and particle size 9.7$\pm$1.0${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ of lime stone powder. Based on the results of this study, the optimum mix design proportion of the combined high flowing concrete are selected and poured successfully in the slurry wall of LNG in-ground tank.
