  • In this paper, hierachical representation method with a 1-to-4 and 1-to-8 data structure is used to reconstruct the three-dimensional scene from two-dimensional cross sections provided by computed tomography with small memory computer system. To reduce the internal memory use, 2-D section is represented by quadtree, and 3-D scene is represented by octree. Octree is constructed by recursively merging consecutive quadtrees. This method uses 7/200 less memory than pointer type structure with all the case, and less memory up to 60.3% than linear octree with experimental data.

  • A multi-font, multi-size and high speed character recognition system is designed. The design principles are simpilcity of algorithm, adaptibility, learnability, hierachical data processing and attention by feed back. For the multi-size character recognition, the extracted character images are normalized. A hierachical classifier classifies the feature vectors. Feature is extracted by applying the directional receptive field after the directional dege filter processing. The hierachical classifier is consist of two pre-classifiers and one decision making classifier. The effect of two pre-classifiers is prediction to the final decision making classifier. With the pre-classifiers, the time to compute the distance of the final classifier is reduced. Recognition rate is 95% for the three documents printed in three kinds of fonts, total 1,700 characters. For high speed implemention, a multiprocessor system with the ring structure of four transputers is implemented, and the recognition speed of 30 characters per second is aquired.

  • The purpose of this thesis is, first to present the spatial division of labor in Korea and its mechanism, and second, to elucidate the organic integral relation between local labor market and local community by studing the mechanism that the spatial division of labor is projected into the individual lacal labor marker, and reproduction of labor force process in this local labor market. According to this purpose, the theoretical frame of this analysis is done, the positive analysis is made and Kumi is choosed as its analysis case area. The main data is from 'Survey Report on Manufacturing Idustry Wage Conditions' published by Minimum Wage Council, Ministry of Labour and from the questionnaires and interview on textile industry and electric electronics industry firms in Kumi Export Industrial Estate. The following are the results of this study. 1. The mechanism of spatial division of labor in Korea, seen through the employment structure index, is accelerating the regional discrimination by fixing the regional hierarchisation between Seoul (or Seoul Metropolitan Area as expanded Seoul) and other areas. But it is also developing highly the regional employment structure at the level of technical division of labor, since the spatial division of labor in Korea is leaded by large firms and influenced by the policy for regional development. 2. Local labor market is formed in Kumi area and its delimitation is Kumi city. The employment structure of Kumi local labor market is occupying lower hierarchy division at management hierachical level and occupying upper hierarchy division at the level of technical division of labor, and brand plants of large firs are determinating and dominating this emplogment structure. These bdranch plants of large firs are forming more favorable and stabel labor marker than locally controlled ploants in Kumi local labor market. But the reproduction of labor force process in Kumi local labor market is not fully carried out and leaked into central city, therefore Kumi is now becoming an unstable local community, suffering from large movement of population. This is because Kumi local labor market is found not for itself, but by the state policy and externally controlled plants of large firms, and therefore no potentiality to control and to absorb the exterior influences is built in Kumi local labor market. 3. The case firms A, B have spatial division of labor between decision-making function and production function, and between upper management hierachical labor force and lower management hierachical labor force in internal labor market.

이산 선형 시불변시스템에 대한 병렬칼만필터 (A Parallel Kalman Filter for Discrete Linear Time-invariant System)

  • A parallel processing algorithm for discrete Kalman filter, which is one of the most commonly used filtering technique in modern control, signal processing, and communication, is proposed. Previously proposed parallel algorithms to decrease the number of computations needed in the Kalman filter are the hierachical structures by distributed processing of measurements, or the systolic structures to disperse the computational burden. In this paper, a new parallel Kalman filter employing a structure similar to recursive doubling is proposed. Estimated values of state variables by the new algorithm converge with two times faster data processing speed than that of the conventional Kalman filter. Moreover it maintains the optimality of the conventional Kalman filter.

  • The purpose of this paper is to design and construct the compact type joint driver and controller of the biped robot. This biped robot will be designed to be suitable for the practical usages and applications in the work environment, which is not plat floor, like a stairs by taking the stand-alone style that equipped all the parts except power sources. Generally, highly nonlinear motion dynamics of the biped robot is realized to linear approximations by installing a high-ratio speed reducer at each joint and dividing motions into a several piecewise linear motions, which is realized by the digital controller design techniques. This biped robot has symmetrical structure to get the stable walking ability and also the hierachical structure to control each joint as well. That is, all of the joint controllers are connected to the main controller in the composition of overall controllers. The driver and controller of each joint uses PI controller that compensate the velocity and position errors by the data of the encoder. And the signal characteristics of each joint controller forms a trapezoid speed profile which is predefined by the values of direction, maximum velocity and position.

  • 자료 분석 과정을 살펴 보면 1) 자료가 갖는 경향 평가, 2) 클러스터 분석, 3) 클러스터의 타당성 조사라는 과정을 거쳐 이루어진다. 이 분석법은 2) 및 3) 단계의 반복 수행으로 인하여 많은 계산 시간이 소요되므로 비효율적인 방법이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는, 이와 같은 단점을 보완하기 위하여 자료가 갖는 개략적 특성을 파악하여 자료 속에 존재하는 클러스터의 근사적 개수 및 중심을 정한 후, 이 정보를 기존의 일반적인 퍼지 클러스터링 알고리즘에 입력하여 클러스터링을 수행하는 밀도함수를 이용한 계층적 구조의 근사적 클러스터링 알고리즘을 제안하고, 예제를 통하여 제안된 알고리즘의 타당성을 보인다.

가구조사를 위한 이단추출 표본설계에서의 집락선택 (Choosing clusters for two-stage household surveys)

  • 우리나라 가구조사는 흔히 통계청의 조사구를 집락으로 사용한 이단추출의 자체가중 표본설계의 형태로 진행된다. 집락구조는 모집단내 개체변동성을 집락간과 집락내 분산으로 분해되기 때문에 이와 연관된 표본집락수와 집락내 표본수의 결정은 표본추정에 영향을 미치게 된다. 하지만 조사구의 규모, 노후화, 가구명부 접근불가 등의 여러가지 이유로 집계구와 같은 대안적 집락선택이 고려되기도 한다. 또한 2015 인구주택총조사부터는 전통적 가구방문조사 방식에서 행정자료를 이용한 등록센서스 형태로 바뀜에 따라 기존 조사구의 형태나 규모의 변경되어 구축되는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 논문에서는 집락추출을 반영한 설계효과식을 통해 계통적 혹은 내포적 구성을 갖는 집락들의 선택이 주는 분산식 차이를 유도하고, 주어진 표본크기에서 동일한 분산을 갖는 집락구조별 표본할당에 대해 살펴보았다. 미국 매릴랜드주 앤어룬델 카운티 자료를 사용하여 우리나라 조사구와 집계구와 다소 유사한 사례연구를 포함하였다. 조사변수별로 집락통합이 주는 동일성 계수의 변화는 같지 않으며 이에 따라 집락구조에 따른 표본할당이 집락표본수와 더불어 종합적으로 고려되어야 할 것이다.

온라인목록 주제접근점 확장을 위한 분류표 지식베이스 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on a DDC Knowledgebase Design for Subject Access in Online Catalog)

  • 온라인목록은 최소한 카드목록이 제공해주는 접근방식을 지원해 주어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 온라인목록 검색환경에서 주제접근의 유용성을 논하고, 기존 이용자들에게 익숙한 접근방식인 분류표 접근을 구현하기 위하여 분류표를 프레임구조의 지식베이스로 설계하였다. 지식베이스는 DDC20 판의 새로 추가된 전산과학 분야에 해당되는 004-006 번의 주제영역과 상관색인 부분을 대상으로 실험하였다. 이 시스템은 이용자로 하여금 원하는 주제영역의 분류표에 접근하게 함으로써 그 분야의 체계적인 기념배열을 살펴 볼 수 있게 하고 관련분야의 문헌을 검색할 수 있게 하였다. 이러한 작업은 모두 이용자의 검색능력을 확장시키기 위한 것으로 분류표를 출력하여 봄으로써 이용자는 해당 주제의 분류영역에 대한 보다 확실한 개념 및 범위 파악이 가능하였다.
