PLC and its expansion module, electric ball valve and cooling pipe, electric heating steel plate and various components of the system, which is used to control test and process data. By automatically adjusting the opening of the valve, the system makes the top temperature and cooling speed develop along the ideal temperature diachronic curve. Moreover, the system enables the temperature difference between inside and surface of test block limited in a given range by automatically controlling the surface board heating. The method of physical simulation test by sandbox with built-in cooling water pipe and heating rod is adopted. On the premise of a given standard value, the operation of the system is checked under different working conditions. Further, an extension of this system is proposed, which enables its application to obtain some thermal parameters when cooperating with numerical simulation.

Hopkinson effect in the HDDR-treated Nd$\sub$15/Fe$\sub$77/B$\sub$8/ alloy was examined in detail by means of a thermomagnetic analysis with low magnetic field (600 Oe). The emergence and magnitude of maximum in magnetisation in the thermomagnetic curve due to the Hopkinson effect was correlated to the grain structure and coercivity of the HDDR-treated material. the HDDR-treated materials showed clear Hopkinson effect (maximum in magnetisation just below the Curie temperature of the Nd$\sub$2/Fe$\sub$14/B phase) on heating in the thermomagnetic curve. Magnitude of the magnetisation rise due to the Hopkinson effect became smaller as the recombination time increased. The magnetisation recovery at room temperature on cooling from above the Curie temperature became smaller as the recombination time increased. The HDDR-treated materials with shorter recombination time, finer grain size and higher coercivity showed larger magnetisation maximum due to Hopkinson effect in the thermomagnetic curve.

The master sintering curve (MSC) is derived from densification data over a range of heating rates and temperatures. To improve the accuracy, several modifications were proposed: multi-phase MSC for solid state sintering with phase changes, MSC for liquid phase sintering, and MSC with consideration of grain growth. The developed MSC models were applied to several material systems such as molybdenum, stainless steels, and tungsten heavy alloys (WHA), in order to evaluate the effect of compaction pressure, phase change, grain growth, and composition on densification, to classify regions having different sintering mechanism, and to help engineer design, optimize, and monitor sintering cycles.
In this study, we have analyzed structural analysis and measured ferroelectric characteristics of PZT thin films prepared by sol gel process with different sintering conditions and different Zr/Ti mot%. When the Zr mot% of PZT thin film was increased, it was found that the remanent. polarization and coercive field were decreased and increased, respectively. Also, the maxium dielectric constant of PZT(50/50) thin film was 786.8. We got double hysteresis(anti-fcrroelectric) curve from PbZrO$_{3}$ thin film. As heating rate goes up, pyrochlore phase of PZT thin film was decreased and dielectric and ferroelectric characteristics were improved. As a result of variation of sintering temperature and time 500.deg. C-800.deg. C and 5 sec.-8 hours, respectively, we got optimal sintering temperature and time. The optimium sintering temperature and time of conventional furnace method and rapid thermal processing method were 650.deg. C-700.deg. C for 30-60 minutes and 700.deg. C/20 seconds-2 minutes, respectively.
The thermal problem of press work is classified into two cases. First, the temperature of forming die passively rises due to the heating effect of plastic deformation. The warm forming is the second case in which the external heating is applied to the die and blank holder. So, the purpose of this study is to provide database for the forming characteristics at various temperature conditions. In this study, the tensile test was carried out for the commercial steel sheets such as SCPI and SCP3C with the thickness of 0.7mm and 1.4mm respectively. The tensile strength, total elongation, Lankford value and the flow curve have been obtained at the temperature of $25^{\circ}C$, $50^{\circ}C$, $100^{\circ}C$, $150^{\circ}C$, $200^{\circ}C$, $250^{\circ}C$ and $300^{\circ}C$, respectively. From the results, we can see that both the tensile strength and total elongation decrease as the temperature increases. In the light of anisotropy, the effect of thickness is dominant than the material specs. For the temperature dependency of flow curves, there are only small differences for the work-hardening exponent, and the strength intensity decreases monotonically as temperature increases. The present results we useful as input data for the analysis of sheet metal forming processes with the various temperature conditions.
An experimental study on critical heat flux (CHF) has been performed in an internally heated vertical annulus with non-uniform heating. The CHF data for the chopped cosine heat flux have been compared with those for uniform heat flux obtained from the previous study of the authors, in order to investigate the effect of axial heat flux distribution on CHF. The local CHF with the parameters such as mass flux and critical quality shows an irregular behavior. However, the total critical power with mass flux and the average CHF with critical quality are represented by a unique curve without the irregularity. The effect of the heat flux distribution on CHF is large at low pressure conditions but becomes rapidly smaller as the pressure increases. The relationship between the critical quality and the boiling length is represented by a single curve, independent of the axial heat flux distribution. For non-uniform axial heat flux distribution, the prediction results from Doerffer et al.'s and Bowling's CHF correlations have considerably large errors, compared to the prediction for uniform heat flux distribution.

Recently, fire resistance in high-rise building is becoming major problem socially. So it is need of hour to study on fire resistance in buildings. This study estimates fire resistance performance to utilized CFT (Concrete filled steel tube, below CFT) column in the high structure. But it is difficult quantitative evaluation about fire resistant performance of CFT. Therefore, this study made CFT specimen that determine the factor which is strength of concrete and then CFT column was exposed to heating controlled as closely as possible the ISO-834 standard fire curve. Also, tried to analyze internal temperature through nonlinear transient heat flow analysis. And, presumed extant compressive strength on the basis of this.
Objective: The aim of this research was to evaluate the mechanical properties (MP) and degree of the phase transformation (PT) of martensitic (M-NiTi), austenitic (A-NiTi) and thermodynamic nickel-titanium wire (T-NiTi). Methods: The samples consisted of $0.016\;{\times}\;0.022$ inch M-NiTi (Nitinol Classic, NC), A-NiTi (Optimalloy, OPTI) and T-NiTi (Neo-Sentalloy, NEO). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), three-point bending test, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and microstructure examination were used. Statistical evaluation was undertaken using ANOVA test. Results: In DSC analysis, OPTI and NEO showed two peaks in the heating curves and one peak in the cooling curves. However, NC revealed one single broad and weak peak in the heating and cooling curves. Austenite finishing ($A_f$) temperatures were $19.7^{\circ}C$ for OPTI, $24.6^{\circ}C$ for NEO and $52.4^{\circ}C$ for NC. In the three-point bending test, residual deflection was observed for NC, OPTI and NEO. The load ranges of NC and OPTI were broader and higher than NEO. XRD and microstructure analyses showed that OPTI and NEO had a mixture of martensite and austenite at temperatures below Martensite finishing ($M_f$). NEO and OPTI showed improved MP and PT behavior than NC. Conclusions: The mechanical and thermal behaviors of NiTi wire cannot be completely explained by the expected degree of PT because of complicated martensite variants and independent PT induced by heat and stress.
A series of thermal destruction studies of the most heat resistant yeast strain No. 15 among 61 isolates were conducted in order to establish the optimum pasteurization condition of peach solid pack. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. A survival curve of the selected yeast strain No. 15 at $58^{\circ}C$ consisted of heat labile and heat stable fraction, showing broken curve. 2. The actively growing cell showed less recovery rate than 10 day rested cell after agitation-growing for 90 hr. For heating menstrua, peptone solution gave higher recovery rate than peach juice. For recovery medium, YM agar gave higher recovery rate than peach juice agar. The selected yeast was more resistant to heat at pH 4.0 than at pH 3.5 in both heating menstrua and recovery medium. 3. Z value of TDT curve of the selected yeast (heating : at pH 3.5 in peach juice. recovery: at pH 3.5 in peach juice agar) was $4.8^{\circ}C$. 4. The selected yeast No. 15 was identified as Torulopsis candida. 5. In the inoculated pack test of 4 oz can, it was concluded that the optimum P.U. 70/5 was 168 (center temp; $78.5^{\circ}C$, initial temp; $18^{\circ}C$, processing time; 18 min, initial yeast count; $1.0{\times}10^7$ per can).

There have been many studies on generation equipment and plant piping, but there is no significant study result on the heat transportation pipe. As such, this study established basic theory on the compensated method among buried pipe for regional heating, and further obtained the following results by applying the conditions of AGFW and NCHPP respectively in calculation of friction and maximum installation distance for the buried pipe. Friction coefficient according to the types and physical properties of soil, friction and maximum installation distance were compared to set the application value of friction coefficient according to the location of works. Calculation formula of clay load to be applied for calculation of friction was introduced to the formula of AGFW and the formula of NCHPP that has been used in Nowon district since 1997 to determine the difference and applicability. $120^{\circ}C$ and $95^{\circ}C$ were applied in temperature difference for expansion volume to compare the arm length at the curve pipe so thai it can be reflected in the design in the future. Maximum installation distance according to thickness of pipe was compared to present the necessity of unified specification so that same kinds of pipe materials can be used for same kinds of works.
