고주파유도 용접된 A3003 알루미늄합금 튜브의 기계적 특성에 미치는 열처리조건의 영향 (Effects of Heat-treatment Parameters on Mechanical Properties of A3003 Al Alloy Tubes for Heat-exchangers by High Frequency Induction Welding)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the full annealing parameter for A3003 Al alloy welded tubes. The A3003 Al alloy tubes with 34 mm in external diameter and 1.3 mm in thickness for OPC drum were manufactured by high frequency induction welding with the V shaped convergence angle $6.7^{\circ}$ and power input 50 kW. The tensile and yield strength decreased with increasing the annealing temperature and time remarkably, but elongation increased remarkably. Vickers hardness in welds and base metal decreased with increasing the annealing temperature and time remarkably. In a certain experimental condition, the welds line in A3003 alloys disappeared at $520^{\circ}C$ for 4hr because of the same mechanical properties and structures between welds and base metal.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report on the efficacy of Korean medical treatment for treating menopausal vasomotor symptoms (heat flashes and sleep disorders). Methods: We treated a menopausal female patient with heat flashes and sleep disorders using Korean medical treatments (herbal medicines, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, moxibustion, and chuna). To evaluate the results of this treatment, we used Kupperman's Index and the Numerical Rating Scale to measure heat flashes and total sleeping time, respectively. The patient's general health status was evaluated using the European Quality of Life 5 Dimensions Scale. Results: We observed improvements in Kupperman's Index, the Numerical Rating Scale, the patient's total sleeping time, and the European Quality of Life 5 Dimensions Scale following the treatments. Conclusions: This study suggests that Korean medicine may be an effective treatment for menopausal vasomotor symptoms (heat flashes and sleep disorders).

알루미나에 생체유리의 코팅시 결합의 특성 (Bonding Behavior of Bioglass Coated Alumina)

  • The possible use of bioglass,, which is one of the surface active biomaterials, as implants materials has drawn great attention due to their ability to bond to human living tissue. In the present work, the investigation was carried out to find the bonding phenomena between alumina substrate and bioglass(45S5) or fluorine-containing bioglass(45S5$.$4F), and the properties of coated bioglass. The stable bonding between alumina and bioglass was formed when heat-treated at 1150$^{\circ}C$ for 120 minutes or at 1250$^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes for the 45S5, and at 1150$^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes for the 45S5$.$4F. When bioglass coated alumina was heat-treated, great amount of Al was diffused into bioglass from alumina substrate. More Al was diffused into fluorine-containing bioglass than into bioglass without fluorine. At early stage of heat-tretment, the diffused alumina content was increased with the square root of time and it was also increased with the thickness of coating layer and heat-treatment temperatures. The alumina content became constant after its saturation for longer heat-treatment time. Coated bioglasses were crystallized to Na2O$.$CaO$.$3SiO2 when heat-treated at lower temperature, and to CaO$.$SiO2 at higher temperature.

Strainless steel strip 광휘어닐링로 내의 열전달 해석 (A Numerical Analysis of Heat Transfer in Bright Annealing Furnace of Stainless Steel Strip)

  • In order to predict the temperature distribution of stainless steel strip in Bright Annealing (BA) furnace, we performed the analysis of heat transfer and fluid flow using STAR-CCM+. The analysis model included unsteady fluid flow, heat transfer with radiation and moving grid. Two kinds of radiative properties, emissivity and reflectivity, were applied to the stainless steel strip, one is constant and the other is variable with time. As we call, the BA furnaces of stainless steel strip have two different types, muffle and no-muffle. The using of muffle type has been faced with some problems such as rising in material price and shortening of life cycle, etc. So the development of no-muffle type BA furnace is very important in order to save energy cost, lower environmental load and increase the productivity. The designed (or expected) temperature of stainless steel strip coming out of BA furnace was about $1065^{\circ}C$ while the environment temperature maintains around $1100^{\circ}C$. The result of our calculation was very close (or similar) to design temperature, and the application of radiative properties variable with time produced more accurate result than applying constant ones.

사포, 샌드블라스트로 표면 거칠기 처리에 따른 알루미늄 판의 방열 효율 증대 (Increase heat dissipation efficiency of Al plate according to surface roughness treatment by sandpaper or sandblast)

  • 최근 에너지 절감에 대한 관심도가 높아짐에 따라 에너지 소비가 높은 형광등과 백열등을 대체하는 친환경소재인 LED의 조명을 활용하는 움직임이 활발하다. 그러나, 고출력 LED의 경우 발열에 의한 열화현상 때문에 수명이 단축되는 현상이 발생하게 된다. 이에 대한, 해결방안으로 본 논문은 LED Packing중 방열판표면의 거칠기 처리를 통하여 열전달 계수를 증대시킴으로서 LED 수명연장 효과를 평가하였다. 거칠기 공정은 사포 및 샌드블라스트를 이용하여 진행하였다. 각 표면처리 공정에 따른 거칠기 및 표면적 변화를 정량적으로 평가하였으며, 열전달 계수를 측정하였다. 샌드블라스트, 사포를 이용하여 알루미늄 표면에 거칠기처리를 진행했을 경우 미 처리 시 보다 높은 대류 열전달 계수를 얻을 수 있었고, 샌드블라스트 처리 시 약 82.76%의 높은 방열 효율 향상을 얻을 수 있어, 이를 방열판에 적용할 시 큰 경제적 부담 없이 기존대비 더 높은 방열효율 증대를 통해 LED 수명을 대폭 연장 시킬 것으로 기대된다.

TiNi 형상기억합금을 이용한 복합재료의 제조 및 계면 특성 (Fabrication and Interface Properties of TiNi/6061Al Composite)

  • TiNi shape memory alloy was shape memory heat-treated and investigated its mechanical properties with the variation of prestrain. Also 6061 Al matrix composites with TiNi shape memory alloy fiber as reinforcement have been fabricated by Permanent Mold Casting to investigate the microstructures and interface properties. Yield stress of TiNi wire was the most high in the case of before heat-treatment and then decreased as increasing heat-treatment time. In each heat-treatment condition, the yield stress of TiNi wire was not changed with increasing the amount of prestrain. The interface bonding of TiNi/6061Al composite was fine. There was a 2$\mu\textrm{m}$ thickness of diffusion reaction layer at the interface. We could find out that this diffusion reaction layer was made by the mutual diffusion. The diffusion rate from Al base to TiNi wire was faster than that of reverse diffusion and the amount of the diffusion was also a little more than that of reverse.

제조조건에 따른 압착형 현미 Flake의 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Brown Rice Flakes Subjected to Various Flaking and Toasting Method)

  • The physicochemical and sensory characteristics of brown rice flakes by different processing conditions such as flaking Process and their heat treatments were investigated to establish the brown rice flake processing procedure. To successfully make the compressed rice grain type flakes, the most appropriate water steeping conditions were 5 hours at 60'C. The brown rice flakes by compressed flaking procedure and heat treatment with microwave toasting showed the best crispiness-texture that tested from textrometer or sensory evaluation, and there was no significant difference between the source of rice varieties. The water absorption index(WAI) of tested flakes were negatively correlated with the water soluble index( WSI) and positively correlated with bowl life. The flakes made by compressed flaking procedure and heat treatment with microwave toasting showed longer bowl life, which is the length of the time that the cereal can retain its crispness after being soaked in milk.

가열처리시간이 Steaming 및 Roasting green tea의 성분변화에 미치는 영향 (A study on the changes of the components in the steaming and roasting green tea after heat treatments according to time.)

  • This experiment was conducted to investigate changes of the components in steamed and roasted green tea after 10 min, 20 min and 30 min of heat treatment of heat treatment at $110^{\circ}C$. Vitamin C and tannin were determined by spetrophotometry. Total nitrogen, water-soluble nitrogen and water-soluble non protein nitrogen were determined by Kjeldahl analysis system. Aromas were identified by gas chromatography. After heat treatment, contents of most compounds decreased. Tannin and caffeine decreased a little bit, while vitamin C decreased considerably. There were both decreases and increases in aromas. Aromas which increased were geraniol, trans-2-hexenol, linalool, $\alpha$-ionone and $\beta$-ionone. From these results, it was concluded that the highest quality of green tea was one steam- treated for 10 min at $110^{\circ}C$.

열처리 조건에 따른 TiAl화합물의 미세조직과 기계적 성질에 관하여 (Effect of Heattreatment condition on structure and properties of TiAl alloys)

  • Various heat-treatments were conducted to Ti-48.1at%Al and Ti-48.3at%Al-1.2at%Mn alloys casted by plasma arc melting system. Mechanical properties, microstructure and high temperature oxidizing behaviors of as-casted and heat-treatment alloys were investigated. Ti-48.1Al and Ti-48.3Al-1.2Mn alloys were decreased in strength according to increased of heattreatment temperature. Oxidizing weight gain of Ti-48.1Al alloy which conducted at $1273^{\circ}K$ was linearly increased. In case of adding Mn to alloy, there was no rapid increase of oxidizing weight gain during early time.

당첨가 및 가열처리가 근원섬유단백질의 추출성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Sugar Addition and Heat Treatment on the Myofibrillar Protein Extractability)

  • 우육에 7.5%의 당을 첨가하고 $121^{\circ}C$에서 가열처리하여 단백질 추출량의 변화를 알아보았다. 갈변반응은 가열시간이 길어짐에 따라 심하게 발생하였으며 glucose 첨가에서 가상 심하게 발생하였다. 단백질의 추출량은 전체적으로 가열시간이 길어질수록 감소하였으며 갈변반응이 심하게 발생한 glucose 첨가구에서 크게 감소하였다. 시료에 peptidase를 작용시켰을 때 단백질 추출량은 거의 변화가 없었으며, chymotrypsin을 작용시켰을때 단백질 추출량이 많이 증가하였으나, glucose 첨가구에서는 약간의 증가만 나타내었고 trypsin을 작용시켰을 때 전체적으로 chymotrysin을 작용시켰을 때보다 단백질 추출량이 많이 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. Peptidase, chymotrypsin 및 trypsin을 동시에 작용시켰을 때에는 단백질 추출량이 상당히 증가하였지만 갈변반응이 심하게 발생하였던 glucose 첨가구에서는 약간의 증가만 나타내었다.
