This paper is to construct a healthcare database using information obtained from healthcare home environments, and use this one for healthcare home services, Especially, our researching focus in this paper is how to design healthcare database scheme and how to use this constructed database on the Framework for Supporting Healthcare Integrated Service(FSHIS) we developed previously. Healthcare information is designed to database schemes in accordance to the specific save types of the data collected from various typed-sensors. The healthcare database constructed by using this information for the purpose of healthcare home services is divided into the base information with real schemes and the context based information with view schemes. Firstly, the base information includes low data obtained from physical sensors relevant to locations, healths, environments, and the personnel healthy profiles. The other is the context based information that is produced and fused by using the based information. This context based information might be got via various view schemes according to healthcare application services. Finally, for verifying the practical use of healthcare database constructed in this paper, Via interconnecting this database to our FSHIS, we show an example of healthcare home monitoring service using information (basic and context based information), emergency call, home appliance control, and so on needed from living activity area for elderly living alone.
The purpose of this paper is to propose office healthcare UX scenarios using gamification techniques. Today, there is increased recognition of office workers' health, and gamification can be a great method to enhance their health. To design effective healthcare service for office workers, first, two levels of gamification design were identified―interface design level and gameplay experience design level. Second, office workers' health problems resulting from office work were collected from their blogs and 13 insights were derived by analyzing the collected data. Finally, 2 UX scenario implementing gamification in the workplace was proposed to promote healthy lifestyle behaviors for office workers.
U-healthcare is real-time monitoring of personal biometric information using by portable devices, home network and information and communication technology based healthcare systems, and fused together automatically to overcome the constraints of time and space are connected with hospitals and doctors. As u-healthcare gives health service in anytime and anywhere, it becomes to be a new type of medical services in patients management and disease prevention. In this paper, recent changes in prevention-oriented care is analyzed in becoming early response for Healthcare Information System by requirements analysis for technology development trend. According to the healthcare system, PACS, OCS, EMR and emergency medical system, U-healthcare is presenting the design of a patient-centered integrated client system. As the relationship between the meaning of the terms is used in the ontology, information models in the system is providing a common vocabulary with various levels of formality. In this paper, we propose an ontology-based system for patient-centered services, including the concept of clustering to clustering the data to define the relationship between these ontologies for more systematic data.
Background: Most developed countries are working to improve their universal health coverage systems. This study investigates regional disparities in unmet healthcare needs and their causes in South Korea. Additionally, it compares the unmet healthcare needs rate in South Korea with that of 33 European countries. Methods: The analysis incorporates information from 13,359 adults aged 19 or older, using data from the Korea Health Panel. The dependent variables encompass the experience of unmet healthcare needs and the three causes of occurrence: "burden of medical expenses," "time constraints," and "lack of care." The primary variable of interest is the region of residence, while control variables encompass 14 socio-demographic, health, and functional characteristics. Multivariable binary logistic regression analysis, accounting for the sampling design, is conducted. Results: The rate of unmet healthcare needs in Korea is 11.7% (95% confidence interval [CI], 11.0%-13.3%), which is approximately 30 times higher than that of Austria (0.4%). The causes of unmet healthcare needs, ranked in descending order, are "lack of care," "time constraints," and "burden of medical expenses." Predictive probabilities for experiencing unmet healthcare needs and each cause differ significantly between regions. For instance, the probability of experiencing unmet healthcare needs due to "lack of care" is approximately 10 times higher in Gangwon-do (13.5%; 95% CI, 13.0%-14.1%) than in Busan (1.3%; 95% CI, 1.3%-1.4%). The probability due to "burden of medical expenses" is approximately 14 times higher in Seoul (4.1%; 95% CI, 3.6%-4.6%) compared to Jeollanam-do (0.3%; 95% CI, 0.2%-0.4%). Conclusion: Amid rapid sociodemographic transitions, South Korea must make significant efforts to alleviate unmet healthcare needs and the associated regional disparities. To effectively achieve this, it is recommended that South Korea involves the National Assembly in healthcare policy-making, while maintaining a centralized financing model and delegating healthcare planning and implementation to regional authorities for their local residents-similar to the approaches of the United Kingdom and France.

Purpose: Although numerous research has covered content on trends in the adoption and use of wearable devices, their uses across several sectors such as healthcare, gaming, and fashion, there seems to be a considerable paucity with regard to empirical research focusing on the solutions for factors that undermine the effectiveness of wearable devices in healthcare. The present research aims to highlight what has been covered on wearable devices in healthcare while highlighting the limitations for future research. Research design, data, and methodology -The present authors conducted one of the most famous qualitative literature approach which has been called as PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) statement. The selecting criteria for eligible prior studies was estimated by whether studies are suitable for the current research, identifying they are peer-reviewed and issued by notable publishers between 2017 and 2022. Result - Our results indicated that (1) Increasing the Affordability and User Education on Wearable Devices in Healthcare (2) Tackling the Technological Issues in Wearable Devices to Promote Healthcare Delivery (3) Solving Security and Privacy Issues Associated with Wearable Devices (4) Promoting Standards and Appropriate Regulations for Wearable Devices. Conclusion - To add, resolving the technological issues associated with wearable devices in healthcare will ensure that the new devices in the market will have longer battery life, multiple functions, and enhanced accuracy, thus ensuring that patients receive better care. Necessary interventions are taken on time to avoid any deleterious consequences such as proliferating mortality rates among the different patient groups.

As life expectancy has increased, health status becomes an important factor on life. The Fourth Industrial Revolution has led to the development of a variety of healthcare devices and applications that make it easier and more convenient to manage health. In particular, the area of individual genetic analysis with Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) has expanded, and genetic information is used to treat and prevent diseases according to individual differences. This study analyzes the genetic information of individuals, that is, SNP variant, and identifies specific chronic disease risk groups such as obesity, diabetes and hypertension. After then we will propose a customized nutrition information service. In addition the service of regional exercise management will be provided, to encourage exercise based on walking courses and sports center information in residential areas. Based on the GPS, it will design the service of exercise management that can encourage exercise by providing walking course and sports center information in the residential area.

As one designs a building, one should have to consider its characters and functions according to its own use. Recently many professional buildings used to be designed by specialized design firms with their own experience and specialty to vitalize the functions of the buildings. Especially the design of the hospital is really needed more concern from the beginning of design ordering because it is pursuing the most specialty in architectural designs and therefore it can not be managed with general architects. The purpose of this study is to present the references for resonable promotions of hospital design in the future with the analysis of the suitability in hospital design ordering and the process after design competition in Korea.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the role of the physical environment in task interruptions in the healthcare settings. Many dangerous events such as airplane crash and medical errors are the result of human errors and, these errors are often the result of interruptions during a critical task of professional workers. In fact, the physical environment that determines accessibility and visibility among people affects interruptions significantly, but architectural studies have given little attention to the management of interruptions. Methods: Therefore, the researcher reviewed research literature in other fields to find out how the physical environment affected interruptions. Many studies were from management, human factors, and health care, but few from architecture. First the author examined the impact of interruptions, second described the social context of interruptions and the role of the physical environment. Results: Findings included that description of the physical environment was not very clear in studies from management and human factors, while little work had been done on interruptions in architecture. The author proposed study design that compensated shortcomings of each field by combining approaches from management, human factors, and architecture. Implications: Unit design strategies such as distributed nurse stations can affect interruptions and layout analysis such as space syntax analysis can evaluate visibility and accessibility of floor plans in the preliminary design phase.
