A Study on the User Experiences of the Animal Crossing

  • Using the TAM, this study investigates the impact of Perceived Usefulness(PU), Perceived Ease of Use(PEOU) of the Animal-Crossing users on game satisfaction(DOS), immersion(DOI), and the relationship between user's attitude and intention through the google online survey. The decorative elements of the game generate a healing effect and more than half of the survey participants share game activities with the online community in terms of PU. In the case of PEOU, the survey participants positively evaluate the technological advancement such as graphics and sounds of the game. In addition, both high degree of satisfaction and immersion in the game have significant correlations with the intention for replaying the game and intention for recommending the game to others.

  • With the recent revitalization of virtual reality and game industries, digital therapeutics for medical purposes are emerging. Digital therapeutics refer to sports-based therapeutics such as virtual reality contents and games that are effective in preventing, managing, and treating diseases, not drugs. Through this study, we plan and develop contents for healing and brain enhancement using virtual reality technology as a therapeutic digital therapy. Through this, it can help to improve the brain of children who are dependent on electronic devices in the digital age and rarely use their brains.

  • The 4th industrial revolution has become a topic of 'experiential games' that utilize technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and complex reality, and they are promoting various experiential game contents to attract tourists in the tourism industry have. The trend of tourism is the concept of the healing which aims to enhance the quality of life of the individual in the concept of simple travel, that is, the consumer is not satisfied with the sight, There are many changes in the form of tourism. In this study, domestic and foreign cases that utilized the fun and experience of tourism in the game were examined using case study methods. In domestic case, although service was provided by using smart phone, there is a problem that simple information is provided, mission quest method is not continuously provided, and the story is limited. I tried to find out the solution through this case. Developing and applying various experience contents, utilizing active investment and various stories for continuous service, and utilizing new technology such as virtual reality, it will bring about improvement of domestic tourism industry and satisfaction.

Basic Study on the Doin Gigong Exercise for the Reduction of Shoulder-arm Pain (견비통 완화 도인기공체조에 대한 기초적인 연구)

  • Gigong exercise is simple form's game for health care. Gigong exercise is the training method in mind and body, and it prevent or cure the disease by becoming larger the human's nature-healing power This syudy intends to identify the effective processing channel of the Doin Gigong Exercise for the reduction of shoulder-arm pain. The processing channel of the Doin Gigong Exercise for the reduction of shoulder-arm pain cinsist of warming, main, finishing exercise. The warming exercise start breathing and concentrate upon shoulder-arm exercise. The upper and lower sides join-hands exercise give help smoothly the Gi-circulation of human body in every direction. The finishing exercise consist of experience to Gi with the object of maintaining human comfortable condition. As mentioned above, the Doin Gigong exercise is effective intervention for the reduction of shoulder-arm pain.

Visualization of 33 Avalokitesvara-Bodhisattva according to the Wishes (기원에 따른 33관음의 시각화)

  • In this paper, we implement a digital content that visualizes 33 Avalokitesvara-Bodhisattva according to the wishes of the public. The 33 Avalokitesvara-Bodhisattva is described in the Avalokitesvara-Bodhisattva tale that is found in the ancient literature "Memorabilia of the Three Kingdoms" as Tangible Cultural Heritage. Also, it is easily found in a wall painting of traditional Buddhist temples. The 33 Avalokitesvara-Bodhisattva is the saint of mercy that transforms into 33 various forms according to the wishes of the public. The Avalokitesvara-Bodhisattva tales deal with differences in the types of wishes of the public, and the tales have been speeded like wildfire among the people. So, in this paper, we classify them into 4 groups by the wishes (healing, security, academic achievement, disaster relief) of the public, and then analyze its symbolism and activity of the 33 Avalokitesvara-Bodhisattva. Also, we implement a 2D digital content that represents visually it according to the wishes of the public. Applications of the implemented visual content are as follows; development of character, game, and digital storytelling associated with traditional culture, education service for Buddhist doctrines, etc.
