2차원 단순 물체의 초공동 유동에 대한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis of Supercavitating Flows of Two-Dimensional Simple Bodies)

  • In this paper, a numerical analysis is carried out to study the characteristics of supercavitating flows and the drag of relatively simple two-dimensional and axisymmetric bodies which can be used for supercavity generation device, cavitator, of a high-speed underwater vehicle. In order to investigate the suitability of numerical models, cavity flows around the hemispherical head form and two-dimensional wedge are calculated with combinations of three turbulence models(standard $k-{\epsilon}$, realizable $k-{\epsilon}$, Reynolds stress) and two cavitation models(Schnerr-Sauer, Zwart-Gerber-Belamri). From the results, it is confirmed that the calculated cavity flow is more affected by the turbulence model than the cavitation model. For the calculation of steady state cavity flows, the convergence in case of the realizable $k-{\epsilon}$ model is better than the other turbulence models. The numerical result of the Schnerr-Sauer cavitation model is changed less by turbulence model and more robust than the Zwart-Gerber-Belamri model. Thus the realizable $k-{\epsilon}$ turbulence model and the Schnerr-Sauer cavitation model are applied to calculate supercavitating flows around disks, two dimensional $10^{\circ}$ and $30^{\circ}$ wedges. In case of the disk, the cavitation number dependences of the cavity size and the drag coefficient predicted are similar to either experimental data or Reichardt's semi-empirical equations, but the drag coefficient is overestimated about 3% higher than the Reichardt's equation. In case of the wedges, the cavitation number dependences of the cavity size are similar to experimental data and Newman's linear theory, and the agreement of the cavity length predicted and Newman's linear theory becomes better as decreasing cavitation number. However, the drag coefficients of wedges agree more with experimental data than those of Newman's analytic solution. The cavitation number dependences of the drag coefficients of both the disk and the wedge appear linear and simple formula for estimating the drag of supercavitating disks and wedges are suggested. Consequently, the CFD scheme of this study can be applied for numerical analysis of supercavitating flows of the cavitator and the cavitator design.

교정용 미니스크류의 형상에 따른 식립 토오크의 비교 (Comparison of insertion torque regarding changes in shape, diameter, and length of orthodontic miniscrews)

  • 교정용 스크류의 적절한 식립 토오크는 스크류와 골과의 경계에 적절히 작용하여 실패를 최소화 할 수 있는데, 너무 낮은 식립 토오크는 안정성이 없으며 반면에 너무 강한 식립 토오크는 열, 기계적 손상으로 골 괴사를 야기할 수도 있다. 본 연구에는 임상적으로 스크류의 길이와 직경 및 형태 등을 달리하여 식립 토오크를 측정해서 스크류의 각 부분에 대한 세분화된 토오크의 변화를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구결과 1.5 mm 두께의 인공피질골 블록에서 cylindrical type 스크류와 taper type 스크류 두 형태 모두에서 스크류 길이가 길수록 최대 식립 토오크 값도 함께 증가하였다. 특히 cylindrical type 스크류에서 길이에 따른 토오크 변화에 대해 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 관찰되었다 (p<0.05). 미니스크류의 연속적인 식립 토오크 분석 결과 cylindrical type 스크류는 연속적인 그래프 형태를 보이면서 불완전 나사부에서 식립 토오크가 크게 증가하였으며, taper type 스크류는 나사선의 마지막 경사진 부분에서 식립 토오크가 크게 증가하였다. 외경이 커질수록 최대 식립 토오크 값은 증가하였는데, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다 (p<0.05). 형태와 외경, 길이는 모두 토오크 값에 유의한 영향을 미치는데, 식립 토오크에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 외경, 형태, 길이 순서였다. 본 연구 결과 스크류의 식립 토오크에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 스크류의 외경이며 각각의 해부학적 구조물에 대한 피질골의 두께를 고려하여 적합한 스크류의 두께 및 나사산의 형태를 선택하는 것이 스크류의 초기 고정력을 얻는데 유리하다고 판단된다.

초고성능 콘크리트 바닥판을 위한 스터드 전단연결재의 정적 거동 (Static Behavior of Stud Shear Connector for UHPC Deck)

  • 합성보는 콘크리트 바닥판과 강재 거더로 이루어져 왔으나, 바닥판의 자중을 줄이면서 내구성을 향상시키고 나아가 교량의 강도 및 강성을 향상시키기 위하여 초고성능 콘크리트(UHPC)를 교량 바닥판으로 채용한 합성보가 최근에 제안되고 있다. 이 연구는 기존의 스터드 전단연결재가 UHPC 바닥판을 합성함에 있어 유효한지에 관하여 실험적으로 검토해보고자 한다. 12개의 push-out 시험체를 통하여 UHPC 바닥판에 매립된 스터드 전단연결재의 정적 강도를 평가하였으며, 실험 변수로 바닥판 두께, 스터드 높이 및 지름을 채택하여, 기존에 제한되었던 스터드 지름에 대한 높이의 비율인 형상비와 스터드 머리부 상부 콘크리트 피복두께의 제한을 완화하는 것이 가능한지에 대하여 검토하였다. 이 연구의 실험으로부터 기존 AASHTO LRFD에 제시된 정적 강도평가식을 UHPC에 매립된 스터드 전단연결재에 적용하는 것이 유효함을 확인하였으며, 4이상으로 제한된 형상비는 3.1까지 낮추어도 되며, 50 mm로 제한된 최소 피복두께도 25 mm까지 낮출수 있음을 확인하였다. 다만 Eurocode-4에 제시된 연성도 기준인 특성 상대슬립 6 mm 이상의 기준을 만족하지 못하여, UHPC에 매립된 스터드 전단연결재는 별도의 연성 보강 방안이 채택되지 않는다면 강성 전단연결재로 간주하여야 할 것이다.

도재표면처리제가 복합레진과 도재와의 결합에 미치는 영향 (THE EFFECTS OF PORCELAIN PRIMERS ON THE BONDING OF COMPOSITE RESINS TO PORCELAIN)

  • This study investigated the effect of porcelain primer on bonding of coomposite resin to porcelain surface. In order to test the bond strength between porcelain and composite resin, porcelain cylinders were embedded in acrylic resin, and polished with 240grit silicone caqrbide paper. The specimens were divided into twelve groups. All specimens were treated with three porcelain primers and bonded with five composite resins. All test groups were stored in $37^{\circ}C$ distilled water for 48hours. Shear bond strengths were measured with Instron(Model 4201) at a cross-head speed of 1mm/min. The obtained results were as follows : 1. Scotchprime/Silux II group and BISCO Porcelain Primer/Bisfill group showed significant higher bond strengths than Clearfil Porcelain Primer/photo Clearfil Bright group(p<0.05). And there was no significant differences in bond strengths between Scotchprime/Silux II group and BISCO Porcelain Primer/Bisfill group(p>0.05). 2. When composite resins were used with Scotchprime, the bond strengths were decresed Silux II$(16.68{\pm}3.35MPa)$, Bisfil$(16.23{\pm}4.54MPa)$, Poly-Fill$(14.74{\pm}4.08MPa)$, Photo Clearfil Bright$(13.75{\pm}2.89MPa)$ and Pekalux$(14.74{\pm}4.08MPa)$ in order, but there was no statistical significance(p>0.05). 3. When composite resins were used with BISCO Porcelain Primer, the bond strength were decreased Bisfil$(16.17{\pm}1.60MPa)$, Silux II$(12.13{\pm}2.37MPa)$, Poly-Fill$(10.78{\pm}1.99MPa)$, Photo Cleafil Bright $(9.91{\pm}4.59MPa)$ and Pekalux$(7.36{\pm}2.16MPa)$ in order, but there was no statistical significance(p>0.05). 4. Silux II, Photo Clearfil Bright and Poly-Fill used with Scotchprime showed significant higher bond strengths than BISCO Porcelain Primer(p>0.05).

유구치 상아질의 각 부위에 적용된 수종의 복합레진 접착제의 미세인장접착강도에 관한 연구 (MICRO-TENSILE BONDING STRENGTH OF REGIONAL PRIMARY MOLAR DENTIN)

  • 본 연구는 유구치 상아질의 각기 다른 부위(표층부, 심층부, 치경부)에서 복합레진 접착제의 접착강도를 비교, 평가하기 위하여 임상에서 흔히 사용하고 있는 서로 다른 4종의 접착방식(3-step total etch: 1군, 2-step total etch: 2군, 2-step self-etch: 3군, all-in-one: 4군)을 적용하고 복합 레진 ($Light-Core^{TM}$ Core Build-Up Composite)을 적층한 후, 미세인장접착강도를 비교하였을 때 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 접착방식간의 비교에서 레진의 접착방식에 따른 상아질 각 부위에서의 미세인장접착강도는 제 1군이 표층부에서 뚜렷이 높았으나(p<0.05) 2, 3, 4군은 부위에 따른 차이가 없었다. 2. 부위별 미세인장접착강도를 비교하여 보았을 때 상아질 표층부에서의 미세인장접착강도는 레진의 접착 방식간에 차이가 없었으나, 심층부에서는 2군, 3군, 4군 및 1군의 순으로 나타났고(p<0.05), 치경부에서는 2군과 3군이 1군과 4군에 비하여 현저히 높았다(p<0.05).

도재 전용액이 지르코니아 코어-도재 비니어의 전단결합강도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of modeling liquid on the shear-bond strength of zirconia core - porcelain veneer)

  • Purpose: This study is to evaluate the effect of modeling liquid on the shear-bond strength between zirconia core and veneering ceramic. Methods: Disk-shaped (diameter: 12.0mm; height: 3.0mm) zirconia were randomly divided into six groups according to the surface conditioning method and whether modeling liquid is used or not to be applied (N=60, n=10 per group): group 1-control group with distilled water(ZD); group 2-control group with modeling liquid(ZM); group 3-airborne particle abrasion with $110-{\mu}m$ $Al_2O_3$(AD) with distilled water; group 4-airborne particle abrasion with $110-{\mu}m$ $Al_2O_3$ with modeling liquid(AM); group 5-liner with distilled water(LD); group $6{\pounds}{\neq}liner$ with modeling liquid(LM). Contact angles were determined by the sessile drop method at room temperature using a contact angle measurement apparatus. The specimens were prepared using dentin veneering ceramics, veneered, 3mm high and 2.8mm in diameter, over the cores. The shear bond strength test was performed in a Shear bond test machine. Load was applied at a cross-head speed of 0.50mm/min until failure. The fractured zirconia surfaces were evaluated by using stereomicroscope (${\times}30$). Collected data were analyzed using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences) Win 12.0 statistics program. Results: ZD showed the highest contact angle($50.6{\pm}5.4^{\circ}$) and LD showed the lowest value($6.7{\pm}1.3^{\circ}$). Control groups and zirconia liner groups were significantly higher contact angle than liner groups(p<0.05). LD was the highest shear bond strength($43.9{\pm}3.8MPa$) and ZD was the lowest shear bond strength($24.8{\pm}4.9MPa$). Shear bond strengths of control groups and contact angle of liner groups were not significantly different((p>0.05). Liner groups presented adhesive failures. The others groups showed cohesive and adhesive failures. Conclusion: Modeling liquid groups showed lower contact angles and lower shear bond strength compared to those of distilled water groups.

개별요소법과 유한차분법 연계 해석을 이용한 EPB TBM 굴진해석 Part II: 매개변수 해석 (Numerical Analysis of EPB TBM Driving using Coupled DEM-FDM Part II : Parametric Study)

  • EPB TBM의 굴진성능 예측은 터널 시공성 향상을 위해 매우 중요하며, 따라서 현재까지 TBM 굴진을 수치 해석적으로 모사하기 위한 다양한 시도들이 이루어져 왔다. 본 논문에서는 EPB TBM의 운전조건에 따른 굴진성능을 평가하기 위해 개별요소법(DEM, discrete element method)과 유한차분법(FDM, finite difference method)을 연계한 수치해석 모델을 사용하여 운전조건을 변경해가며 매개변수 해석을 수행하였다. 해석은 커터헤드의 회전속도를 2 rpm으로 일정하게 유지한 상태에서 굴진속도를 0.5, 1.0 mm/sec, 스크류 컨베이어의 회전속도를 5, 15, 25 rpm으로 조건을 변경해가며 수행되었다. 운전조건의 변화에 따라 측정되는 토크, 추력, 챔버압, 배토량을 비교하였으며 매개변수 해석 결과를 통해 개별요소법-유한차분법 연계 TBM 굴진해석 모델을 사용하여 최적 TBM 운전조건을 예측할 수 있음을 나타냈다.

  • EPB TBM의 굴진을 수치적으로 해석하기 위해 개별요소법(DEM, discrete element method), 유한요소법(FEM, finite element method), 유한차분법(FDM, finite difference method) 등과 같은 다양한 수치해석 기법이 적용되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 이중 개별요소법과 유한차분법을 연계하는 방식을 채택하여 EPB TBM 굴진해석 모델링 방법을 제시하였다. 제시한 개별요소법-유한차분법 연계 TBM 굴진해석 모델에서 TBM이 굴착하는 굴착부는 개별요소법을 적용하였으며, 입자 접촉 물성치의 경우 일련의 삼축압축시험을 통해 교정하였다. 굴착부 주변지반은 유한차분법을 연계시켜 정지토압계수를 고려하여 굴착부에 수평지중응력을 구현할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 이를 통해 소요 입자 개수를 감소시켜 모델의 해석효율을 증대시켰다. 본 논문에서 제시한 수치해석 모델은 TBM의 굴진율, 커터헤드 및 스크류 컨베이어 회전속도 등을 조절할 수 있으며 TBM 굴진 중 토크, 추력, 챔버압, 배토량을 도출해 낼 수 있다.

도재용착주조관용 Co-Cr계 비귀금속 합금의 전단결합강도 비교평가에 관한 연구 (The study on Comparison Evaluation of Shear Bond Strength of Co-Cr Based Alloy using for Porcelain Fused Metal)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to observe the microstructural changes of surface in the specimens, performing the shear bond strength testing. The currently most used non-precious alloys are nickel-chromium based alloys with or without beryllium. However, their biocompatibility has been questioned concerning possible damages to the health of the patient and professionals involved in the fabrication of prosthesis caused by long exposure to Ni and Be. An option to nickel-chromium alloys is the cobalt-chromium alloy, an alternative that does not sacrifice the physical properties of the metal porcelain systems. Studies in the animals substantially show that the cobalt-chromium alloys are relatively well tolerated, being therefore more biocompatible than the nickel-chromium alloys. Methods: Non-addition Be to nickel-chromium based alloy(Bellabond plus) and cobalt-chromium alloy which has been widely used(Wirobond C) fused with ZEO light porcelain classified control group and cobalt-chromium alloy which is developing alloy of Alphadent company in Korea(Alphadent alloy) fused with ZEO light porcelain classified experimental group. The specimens of $4mm{\times}4mm{\times}0.5mm$ were prepared as-cast and as-opaque to cast body to analyze the mechanical characteristic change, the microstructure of alloy surface. The phase change was used to observe through XRD analysis and OM/SEM was used to observe the surface of specimens as-cast and as-opaque to cast body. Chemical formation of their elements was measured with EDS. Then hardness was measured with Micro Vicker's hardness tester. Shear bond strength test thirty specimens of $10mm{\times}10mm{\times}2mm$ was prepared, veneered, 3mm high and 3mm in diameter, over the alloy specimens. The shear bond strength test was performed in a universal testing machine(UTM) with a cross head speed of 0.5mm/min. Ultimate shear bond strength data were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and the Scheffe's test (P<0.05). Within the limits of this study, the following conclusions were drawn: The X-ray diffraction analysis results for the as-cast and as-opaque specimens showed that the major relative intensity of Bellabond plus alloy were changed smaller than Wirobond C and Alphadent Co-Cr based alloys. Results: Microstructural analysis results for the opaque specimens showed all the alloys increased carbides and precipitation(PPT). Alphadent Co-Cr based alloy showed the carbides of lamellar type. The Vickers hardness results for the opaque specimens showed Wirobond C and Alphadent Co-Cr based alloys were increaser than before ascast, but Bellabond plus alloy relatively decreased. The mean shear bond strengths (MPa) were: 33.11 for Wirobond C/ZEO light; 25.00 for Alphadent Co-Cr alloy/ZEO light; 18.02 for Bellabond plus/ZEO light. Conclusion: The mean shear bond strengths for Co-Cr and Ni-Cr based alloy were significantly different. But the all groups showed metal-metal oxide modes in shear bond strengths test at the interface.

수종Ceromer의 변연적합도와 파절강도에 관한 비교연구 (A STUDY ON THE MARGINAL FIDELITY AND THE FRACTURE STRENGTH OF CEROMERS)

  • Statement of problem: The use of Ceromer is increasing in dentistry. But, the research of Ceromer has not been conducted much. Purpose : This study was to evaluate the marginal fidelity and internal adaptation according to marginal position. Materials and Methods: In this study 60 resin crowns were fabricated. The measurements of the marginal fidelity were carried out using stereomicroscope $SZ-40^{(R)}$ (Olympus, Japan) and the measurements of fracture strength were done using Instron $8871^{(R)}$ (Instron Co., U.S.A.) at a cross head speed of 1mm/min. All of the measurements were statistically analyzed by ANOVA test, multiple range test and Weibull analysis. Statistical significance was set in advance at the probability level of less than 0.05. All of the measurements were analyzed with Window $SPSS^{(R)}$ Version 10.0 soft ware for the personal computer. Results : 1. There were no statistical differences of the marginal fidelity between $Targis^{(R)}$ and $Tescera^{(R)}$, but difference between these two and $BelleGlass^{(R)}$ according to materials. 2. There were no statistical differences of the marginal fidelity between no fiber group and fiber group. There were no interactions between each maerial and with/without fiber group in the marginal fidelity 3. There were statistical differences of the fracture strength between $Tescera^{(R)}$ and $BelleGlass^{(R)}$ but no statistical differences of the fracture strength between $Targis^{(R)}$ and $Tescera^{(R)}$, $Targis^{(R)}$ and $BelleGlass^{(R)}$ according to materials. 4 There were statistical differences of the fracture strength between no fiber group and fiber group. There were no interactions between each material and with/without fiber group in the fracture strength. 5. When comparing the fracture surface, no fiber group showed the resin which were fractured at the labial surface and separated from the adhesion surface. In fiber group, the fractures took a place in resin compartments. Conclusion. The marginal fidelity and the fracture strength were clinically acceptable. From these results, $Targis^{(R)}$ and $Tescera^{(R)}$ were superior than $BelleGlass^{(R)}$ in the marginal fidelity But, when applying these resin crowns in clinic, more careful consideration is needed and further study is recommended.
