SAE J1939 프로토콜기반 Gateway 제어모듈 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study of Gateway Control Module Using SAE J1939 Protocol)

  • This study presents the development of Gateway Control Module using SAE J1939 protocol for the commercial vehicles. Presently, the load rate of CAN bus is increased by the single network composition and addition of new ECUs for development of intelligent vehicles. Because the embedded system of the integrated network control function has the errors of the CAN bus caused by the increase of ECU, it is needed for development of commercial vehicles. Also, this study presents the development of smart functions that can diagnosis CAN bus errors, fault diagnosis of ECU and basic function that arbitrates CAN bus between ECUs of commercial vehicle. GCM was designed for 4channel separation about Gateway function as solution of load rate decrease and smart functions. HILS(Hardware in the loop simulation)system that can achieve simulation about CAN Messages of all systems on vehicle was applied to evaluate performance and verification of all functions and performance. The load rate on CAN bus was decreased at using functions what was delivery, block and process of GCM. Through this, it was enabled to organize systematic architecture for gateway.

  • 램제트 및 스크램제트와 같은 공기흡입식 추진기관의 구성품 기반 모델 및 추진시스템 시뮬레이션에 대해 연구하였다. 시뮬레이션 모델은 엔진제어기 및 연료공급 시스템을 포함하여 공기흡입구, 연소기, 노즐 등으로 구성된 공기흡입식 추진기관의 특성을 고려하여 각각의 구성품을 종합한 모델로 구현하였다. 엔진의 성능 및 제어기의 동작 특성을 검증하기 위해 실제 환경을 모사하여 실시간 기반 Hardware In the Loop System(HILS)을 구현하였다.

  • This paper describes the development of a navigation HILS (hardware in the loop simulation) system for an integrated navigation performance analysis of a large diameter unmanned underwater vehicle (LDUUV). The HILS system was used for the performance analysis of the LDUUV. When a conventional HILS system is used, it is not possible to calculate the velocity and position using an inertial navigation system (INS). To cope with this problem, an external acceleration was generated. To evaluate the proposed method, we compare the results of a Monte Carlo simulation and navigation HILS experiment.

  • Advances in FPGA technology have enabled fast real-time simulation of power converters, filters and loads. FPGA based HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) simulators have revolutionized control hardware and software development for power electronics. Common time step sizes in the order of 100ns are sufficient for simulating switching frequency current and voltage ripples. In order to keep the time step as small as possible, ideal switching function models are often used to simulate the phase legs. This often produces inferior results when simulating the discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and disabled operational states. Therefore, the corresponding measurement and protection units cannot be tested properly. This paper describes a new solution for this problem utilizing a discrete-time PI controller. The PI controller simulates the proper DC and low frequency AC components of the phase leg voltage during disabled operation. It also retains the advantage of fast real-time execution of switch-based models when an accurate simulation of high frequency junction capacitor oscillations is not necessary.

  • In this paper, the navigation computer design of RPV(remotely piloted vehicle) using GPS is investigated, and its hardware and software structures are described. The proposed hardware adopts the common PC configuration by using 5016A micro PC card and software is divided into several modules such as navigation module, guidance module and control module, etc. The performance of the navigation computer is verified through PILS(process in the loop simulation).

Design of an Autonomous Hover Control System for a Small Quadrotor

  • This paper discusses the development of the control system of a mini quadrotor in Konkuk University for indoor applications. The attitude control system consists of a stability augmentation system, which acts as the inner loop control, and a modern control approach based on modeling will be implemented as the outer loop. The inner loop control was experimentally satisfied by a proportional-derivative controller; this was used to support the flight test in order to validate the modeling. This paper introduces the mathematical model for the simulation and design of the optimal control on the outer loop control. To perform the experimental tests, basic electronic hardware was developed using simple configurations; a microcontroller used as the embedded controller, a low-cost 100 Hz inertial sensors used for the inertial sensing, infra-red sensors were employed for horizontal ranging, an ultrasonic sensor was used for ground ranging and a high performance propeller system built on an quadrotor airframe was also employed. The results acquired from this compilation of hardware produced an automatic hovering ability of the system with ground control system support for the monitoring and fail-safe system.

  • In the battery energy storage system, battery cells are connected in series to increase the operating voltage. Due to the difference in characteristics, the performance degradation of cells is dissimilar. This paper proposes an online DC internal impedance estimation for battery cells in the series string using a matrix-switched capacitor converter, which is already verified as useful for the series balancing of the cells. The simulation in the hardware in the loop test rig shows good accuracy and the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • This paper on the Research of Naval Electronic Warfare System HILS(Hardware In the Loop System) describes the EW engagement HILS construction method for evaluation of the operational concept analysis on active RF Decoy in staying in the air and the deceit ability to anti-ship missile seeker. We obtain the EW M&S technology of EW engagement HILS and EW efficiency analysis from this project. This Naval Electronic Warfare System HILS technology will support Active Decoy Development Project and any other HILS of EW weapon in KOREA ARMY/NAVY/AIR FORCE.

  • 함정 전투체계의 대공전 기능은 전투함의 생존성을 결정짓는 핵심기능이다. 본 논문에서는 차기고속정 전투체계의 대공전 설계에 있어서 효과적인 개발 방법론으로 모델 기반의 시뮬레이션 기법을 적용하고 있다. 적용된 방법론에서는 대공전 기능이 유한상태기계시스템으로 모델링되고 있으며 모델링 결과로 부터 직접 시뮬레이션을 수행하는 모델기반의 시뮬레이션을 통해 모델의 정확성과 운용의 효과성을 평가하여 설계 시스템을 프로토타입핑하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 실제 시스템의 특성을 반영하기 위해 HILS 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며 최종적으로 구현된 시스템을 완성하였다. 모델기반의 시뮬레이션 기법은 단계적이 반복적인 설계과정을 거치게 됨으로써 개발과정에서 발생할 수 있는 위험요소를 최소화 시킬 수 있기 때문에 고비용 및 고신뢰성이 요구되는 국방분야에서 효과적인 개발방법론으로 적용할 수 있다.
