  • 양방향 컨버터는 연료전지 발전 시스템의 인버터 dc link와 저전압 배터리를 연결시켜 준다. 방전 모드(boost)에서는 저전압(battery: 48[V])측에서 고전압(dc link: 380[V])측으로, 충전 모드(buck)에서는 저전압측 배터리로 전력이 전달된다. 본 논문에서는 방전모드 시 MOSFET으로 구성된 1.5[kW] 능동 클램프 전류원 풀 브리지 컨버터가 동작하고 배터리 충전 시 IGBT로 구성된 전압원 하프 브리지 컨버터가 동작한다.

A Secondary Resonance Soft Switching Half Bridge DC-DC Converter with an Inductive Output Filter

  • In this paper, a secondary resonance half-bridge dc-dc converter with an inductive output filter is presented. The primary side of such a converter utilizes asymmetric pulse width modulation (APWM) to achieve zero-voltage switching (ZVS) of the switches, and clamps the voltage of the switch to the input voltage. In addition, zero current switching (ZCS) of the output diode is achieved by a half-wave rectifier circuit with a filter inductor and a resonant branch in the secondary side of the proposed converter. Thus, the switching losses and diode reverse-recovery losses are eliminated, and the performance of the converter can be improved. Furthermore, an inductive output filter exists in the converter reduce the output current ripple. The operational principle, performance analysis and design equation of this converter are given in this paper. The analysis results show that the output diode voltage stress is independent of the duty cycle, and that the voltage gain is almost linear, similar to that of the isolation Buck-type converter. Finally, a 200V~380V input, 24V/2A output experimental prototype is built to verify the theoretical analysis.

  • In recent years power supplies for telecommunication equipment is required smaller size and higher efficiency, and low noise operation. There exists a series resonant converter in which the switching loss is reduced in order to realize a high efficiency converter. However, if a constant voltage regulation is required. The switching frequency varies widely. In this paper we study the details of resonant DC-DC converter in which the realize a high efficiency converter.

  • This paper proposes a wide output range AC/DC converter for a rechargeable battery of electric vehicle. In the proposed wide output range AC/DC converter for rechargeable battery of electric vehicle, the main transformer in the DC/DC stage is divided by two. Therefore, if the switch is connected to the middle tap, then half of the maximum voltage is applied. Otherwise, it can be applied the full range of the high voltage by connecting the switch to the whole tab. And also, it is designed to have a wide output voltage range by applying Vin/2 made by changing the full-bridge to half-bridge by using the bridge change switch of the input stage. As it can be supplied the wide range output voltage with a single module, it has the advantage of space utilization and cost reduction effect.

  • This paper presented practical details about control-loop design and dynamic analysis for a peak current-mode controlled asymmetrical half-bridge(ASHB) do-to-dc converter, Graphical loop gain method is used to design the feedback compensation and analyze the closed-loop performance of ASHB converter. The results of the control design and closed-loop analysis are validated by experiments on a prototype converter.

  • A new non linear, mean value, instantaneous following control technique to design half bridge converter is proposed in witch control principle uses characteristic that reset time of analog integrator is inverse proportion In input voltage. It is Important characteristic that compensation and follow-up control time are same with switching frequency. Is completed in one cycle that base control frequency. Have excellence characteristic that follow in order instruction value exactly stationary state as well as transient state. This technique is verified through an experiment, and know that experiment result and theory agree well.

  • In this paper, zero voltage switched half bridge converter and an active-clamped, zero voltage switched forward converter equipped with self-driven synchronous rectifier is designed and investigated for high efficiency BC-DC converter. A synchronous rectifier is has a lower conduction power loss than shottky diode rectifier. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of parasitic inductance in a synchronous rectifier of DC-DC converters and examine overall efficiency of zero voltage switched DC-DC converters.

  • In this paper, bidirectional AC-DC converter using dual half-bridge converter is proposed. A transformer leakage inductance in the dual half-bridge converter is used for making resonance with the capacitor of the voltage-doubler, which can help the switched current to be sinusoidal without extra inductive component and also the switching loss can be reduced through operation such as ZVS, ZCS. Both circuit analysis and design guideline are described, and also the feasibility for the proposed converter is shown through the hardware implementation and the experimental results.

  • A novel AC to DC PWM converters with unity input power factor are proposed to overcome the above shortcoming. The main function of these converters is to shape the input line current to force it exactly in phase with the input AC voltage. Therefore, the input power factor can be improved to near unity and the input current harmonics can be eliminated. In this paper, half-bridge converter with two active switches and two diodes are utilized for low-cost type UPS configuration. By having only two semiconductors in the current path at any time, losses can be reduced over the conventional boost topology. Also, this converter provides controllable dc-link voltage, high power factor, and low cost type converter by simple power circuits. Simulation results show that the proposed half-bridge converter/inverter control technique can be applied to single-phase low-cost type UPS systems successfully.

  • A conventional Single-Stage Power-Factor-Correction (PFC) AC/DC converter has a link capacitor voltage problem under high line input and low load conditions. In this paper, this problem is analyzed by using the voltage conversion ratio of the DC/DC conversion cell. By applying this analysis, a new Single-Stage PFC AC/DC converter with a boost PFC cell integrated with a Voltage-Doubler Rectified Asymmetrical Half-Bridge (VDRAHB) is proposed. The proposed converter features good power factor correction, low current harmonic distortions, tight output regulations and low voltage of the link capacitor. An 85W prototype was implemented to show that it meets harmonic requirements and standards satisfactorily with near unity power factor and high efficiency over universal input.
