HILS 시스템을 이용한 무인항공기 비행제어시스템의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of the Flight Control System for UAV using HILS System)

  • 본 논문에서는 무인항공기의 비행제어시스템 개발 및 성능분석을 위한 HILS(Hardware-in-the-Loop-Simulation) 시스템의 구축을 제안한다. 제안한 HILS 시스템은 실시간 시뮬레이션 컴퓨터(dSPACE DS1005), 3축 모션테이블, 자세 센서, 지상통제장치(GCS; Ground Control Station), 비행제어컴퓨터(FCC; Flight Control Computer)로 구성된다. 실제 신호와 유사한 신호를 발생시키기 위한 실시간 시뮬레이션 컴퓨터는 dSPACE가 담당하며, 이 신호는 비행운동을 재현을 위한 3축 모션테이블을 동작시키게 된다. 모션테이블 상에 위치하는 자세센서 값과 GCS의 명령은 FCC의 입력으로 사용된다. 구현된 HILS 시스템을 이용하여 UAV의 제어알고리즘 및 자세센서 성능 검증을 수행하였다.

  • This paper presents a lane-change collision avoidance control algorithm for autonomous vehicles that will be used in AHS(Automated Highway System). In the proposed control algorithm, nominal control inputs are generated by solving the inverse vehicle dynamic equations of motion for a lane-change maneuver. In addition, a corrective steering input from preview as well as DYC (Direct Yaw Moment Control) may be included to reduce unpredictable errors and to insure yaw directional stability, respectively. The performance of the algorithm is evaluated with an ABS HILS system which consist of 17 DOF vehicle model and real ABS hardware parts. The HILS simulation results show that the proposed algorithm may be used for emergency lane-change maneuvers for autonomous vehicles.

HILS를 위한 시뮬레이션 프로그램 설계 기법 (A Design Method of the Simulation Program for HILS)

  • In this paper, a design method of the simulation program for HILS(Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation) system is proposed. The present method consists of definition of requirements for HILS, development of specifications, and implementation of the program to satisfy the specifications. In the implementation of the program, the application of hardware interface and the concept of structural modularization are proposed to satisfy the specifications. The concepts of CSCI(Computer Software Configuration Item) and encapsulation are used for structural modularization. The proposed method was practically applied to the development of the simulation program for the efficient operation in HILS of an anti-ship missile system.

ECU HILS를 이용한 실차 주행 조건에서의 인젝터 평가시스템 (Evaluating System for Fuel Injector with the Condition of a Driving Vehicle Mode Using an ECU HILS)

  • A fuel injection system using an ECU HILS as an alternate to a vehicle test for the fuel injectors was developed. The throttle position, vehicle speed, engine speed, crank position, cam position, intake air flow, and several other sensor signals that are supplied to the ECU were measured and recorded as a data file for a vehicle driven in the FTP-75 mode in a chassis dynamometer. Electric signals that are equivalent to the sensor signals from the vehicle are reconstructed from the recorded data file using data acquisition boards, microprocessors, and computers. All sensor signals are supplied to the ECU with synchronized timing using a computer program. The findings show that the cost and time of vehicle experiments can be reduced using the ECU HILS system. Moreover, the repeatability of the generation of sensor signals can enhance the accuracy of a range of experiment related to vehicle testing. An ECU scanner that scans the sensor signals that are input to the ECU through a serial port was used to assess the accuracy of the reconstructed signals. The scanning results show good agreement with the reconstructed input signals. Injectors were connected to the ECU HILS system and were driven by the system to measure the quantity of injected fuel.

무인잠수정의 경로점 유도 법칙 설계 및 HILS 검증 (Development of AUV's Waypoint Guidance Law and Verification by HILS)

  • 본 논문에서는 수중에서 운동하는 무인잠수정의 경로점 유도법칙을 제안한다. 시선각 유도법칙과 수선경로 오차를 줄여가는 경로추종 유도법칙을 조합하여 효과적인 경로점 유도법칙을 설계하였고, 수선경로 오차의 거리에 따라 제어이득을 변화시켜 시스템의 안정성을 증가시켰다. 또한, 관성항법장치와 도플러속도계를 이용한 복합항법 시스템의 성능을 확인할 수 있는 HILS를 구성하였다. 같은 경로점 및 목표점을 입력 후 HILS 수행결과와 실해역 주행시험 결과를 비교하여, 제안한 유도법칙 및 HILS가 올바르게 구성되어 있음을 확인하였다.

  • A distributed hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) platform is developed for designing an automotive engine control system. The HILS equipment consists of a widely used PC and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) I/O boards instead of a powerful computing system and custom-made I/O boards. The distributed structure of the HILS system supplements the lack of computing power. These features make the HILS equipment more cost-effective and flexible. The HILS uses an automatic code generation extension, REAL-TIME WORKSHOP$^{ (RTW$^{) of MATLAB$^{ tool-chain and RT-LAB$^{, which enables distributed simulation as well as the detection and generation of digital event between simulation time steps. The mean value engine model, which is used in control design phase, is imported into this HILS. The engine model is supplemented with some I/O subsystems and I/O boards to interface actual input and output signals in real-time. The I/O subsystems are designed to imitate real sensor signals with high fidelity as well as to convert the raw data of the I/O boards to the appropriate forms for proper interfaces. A lot of attention is paid to the generation of a precise crank/ earn signal which has the problem of quantization in a conventional fixed time step simulation. The detection of injection! command signal which occurs between simulation time steps are also successfully compensated. In order to prove the feasibility of the proposed environment, a simple PI controller for an air-to-fuel ratio (AFR) control is used. The proposed HILS environment and I/O systems are shown to be an efficient tool to develop various control functions and to validate the software and hardware of the engine control system.

실험실에서 전자전 장비와 고속 기동 무기체계 간 실 교전 모의용 조우 HILS 기술 연구 (The Engagement HILS Technology Research in the Laboratory for Simulated Warfare between Electronic Warfare Equipment and High-speed Maneuvering Weapon System)

  • 본 논문에서는 실제 교전이 일어나는 3차원 공간에서 고속 기동 중인 미사일 탐색기와 전자전 장비 간 교전 상황을 제한된 실험실 공간에서 교전 모의할 수 있는 HILS 시스템을 구축하기 위한 장치들을 구성할 수 있는 다양한 구현 방법들과 알고리즘에 관하여 기술하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 우리는 미래전장에서 다양한 고속 기동 무기체계들과 전자전 장비 간 실 교전 상황을 모의하는 실험들을 통하여 미래 전자전 장비의 주요 설계 요소들을 분석하는 방법들을 제시할 수 있었다. 즉 우리는 이 연구를 통하여 미래의 실 전자전 장비를 개발할 때 기술적인 위험요소들을 제거하고, 개발비용을 줄이며, 개발 기간을 단축할 수 있도록 도와주는 M&S 기술들을 개발하고 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 전자전 무기체계 연구개발 분야 뿐 만 아니라 다양한 교전급 무기체계 HILS 연구 및 구축에 큰 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
